"Miss, I’ll handle this myself." The mechanical soldier placed Miao Miao’s suitcase beside the bed labeled with her name. Miao Miao saw that the dorm room was clean, obviously tidied up by Blue Star University’s staff in advance, with only a few minor spots of dirt, and she smiled, gently shaking Du Xixi’s sleeve. "You’ve done enough by bringing me here. There are students joining the Food Department too, so you should go on and take care of your things."

Miao Miao felt that it wasn’t really necessary for Du Xixi to accompany her, as she wouldn’t feel lonely being alone. But she was grateful for Du Xixi’s kindness in taking the time to come with her.

The Food Department likely already had students, and even though the official registration time was until tomorrow morning, there might be things to attend to in the Food Department right now.

Moreover, the specific course arrangements in the Food Department had just been allocated, and Du Xixi and the others needed to familiarize themselves with the course work.

"No need." At the Ke Family, Miao Miao wasn’t one to do nothing. She often helped out with chores alongside 2569, even though Du Xixi and the others frequently advised against it. Miao Miao never dropped this small habit.

She wasn’t one of those pampered noble ladies; cleaning up a dorm room was no challenge for her. There was no need to have the mechanical soldier help. Besides, the dorm looked quite clean, so there wasn’t much for Miao Miao to tidy up.

Du Xixi looked into Miao Miao’s cat-like eyes and saw a steadfast resolve within those big golden red eyes, prompting her to sigh softly and say tenderly, "You’re so well-behaved, don’t let anyone bully you in the future!"

Du Xixi genuinely felt that Miao Miao was too well-behaved, never causing any worry. But such a temperament posed no issue in a still naive campus environment. However, stepping into society later, experiencing various pressures and dark sides, could make her an easy target for bullying.

Miao Miao, however, turned her head with a proud grin, "Who dares to bully me? My sister is the Empress, and my brother-in-law is the Imperial Marshal. If anyone tries to bully me, just mentioning that would scare them to death!"

Miao Miao’s words were undoubtedly a joke, yet they timely lightened the heaviness in Du Xixi’s heart. After a few more uneasy urges, Du Xixi reluctantly left.

After Du Xixi left, Miao Miao didn’t hurry to tidy up the dorm. Instead, she slowly walked to the window, lifted the sky-blue curtain, and glanced downstairs. In no time, she saw Du Xixi’s hurried departing figure.

Miao Miao’s eyes softened. Only when Du Xixi was completely out of sight, surrounded by the mechanical soldiers, did she withdraw her gaze, coolly turning to tidy up her bed.

"Knock, knock!" The partially ajar dorm door was knocked on, pausing Miao Miao, who was in the midst of arranging sheets. As she looked up, the door opened to reveal a cold-looking girl with horns, who smiled mildly at Miao Miao. "Hello, I’m Le Yi."

Miao Miao’s face brightened with a smile again, her cat tail behind her unconsciously swaying, "Hello, I’m Miao Miao."

The girls’ dormitory was a distance from the Food Department, but fortunately, Du Xixi’s pace was quite brisk. Accompanied by a few mechanical soldiers, she arrived at the Food Department within five minutes.

"Xixi!" Before Du Xixi could go upstairs, she heard someone calling her name from above. She instinctively looked up to see He Yuan and Chen Si standing together, and it was clearly He Yuan who called her. "Xixi, come up!"

"Coming!" Du Xixi replied with a smile, quickly heading upstairs. Yet, thinking of Chen Si standing beside He Yuan, she couldn’t help but cover her mouth and chuckle silently.
