CHAPTER 118: IT’S JUST SUPPORT... - [100PS BONUS CHAPTER]

"Joshua, look over here."

At that moment, Henry’s voice suddenly rang out. Joshua froze mid-motion and instinctively turned his head.

Right after that came the soft click of a shutter. No one knew when Henry had pulled out a camera, but he was already snapping pictures.

Joshua pressed down his hair, the tips of his ears reddening slightly. He pouted a bit and muttered, "What are you taking pictures of..."

"Cute."

Henry reached over, gently lowered Joshua’s hand, and helped smooth his hair back into place.

Joshua’s eyes widened, staring at Henry in disbelief. But then he noticed that Henry’s ears were even redder than his own, though his face remained completely expressionless as he turned to watch Luther and the others shooting with unwavering focus.

Luther felt that this was absolutely absurd. Utterly ridiculous!

He was clearly not bad—he had aimed carefully, perfectly even—so why couldn’t he hit the bullseye?! This was insane! This whole game was a scam!

Leonard chuckled from the side. "These guns aren’t like normal ones. Even if you think you’ve aimed right, the shot will still go off."

A vein throbbed visibly on Luther’s forehead. He glared at Leonard. "Yeah, no kidding. The point is the result!"

Justin watched the two start bickering, then picked up a gun himself to give it a try.

But this game clearly had no intention of letting anyone win.

Leonard snorted, pushing the two aside. "Move. Let me show you what real talent looks like."

Luther laughed, tossing his gun aside to watch Leonard make a fool of himself.

Justin also stepped back, resting his head on Joshua’s shoulder. "This game’s tough, Joshua."

Joshua absently patted his head. Justin added, "How about I buy you a model just like this one later?"

Joshua shook his head right away. "No need."

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Leonard fired three shots in a row—but none of them hit. He frowned, clearly refusing to accept that, and started reloading again. His reckless spending was no less than Joshua’s.

"All right, move aside."

Joshua lightly nudged Leonard. His push was gentle, but Leonard obediently stepped away.

"Guess I’ll just have to rely on myself."

He said it like the person who’d missed all three free shots earlier wasn’t him.

Joshua held the gun, his stance far from standard.

Just then, a large hand suddenly covered his, followed by the warmth of a taller body enveloping him from behind—steady, yet carrying that familiar coolness.

Joshua instinctively stopped breathing, his mind spinning. Too close—far too near. He couldn’t even see the other’s face, yet precisely because of that, Henry felt even more like the Henry he once knew.

But why did these emotions surge so wildly? What on earth was hidden in the memories he’d forgotten?!

Joshua’s fingers curled up reflexively.

Bang!

The sudden gunshot rang out loudly, making Joshua flinch; his mind seemed to snap back into place.

Henry’s calm, deep voice sounded above him. "Relax. Take it slow."

Joshua swallowed hard, his hand stiff.

He felt Henry’s hand tighten around his, adjusting the aim—and then, Joshua’s index finger was gently pressed down...

Bang!

A bullet pierced straight through the bullseye!

Joshua stared blankly at the hole in the center of the target, dazed, as if his heart had been pierced right along with it.

Henry released him, standing upright again with his usual composed expression. He looked completely unbothered—but what had just happened... could that really have happened so casually?

Luther frowned slightly at Henry. "Don’t you think you got a bit too close to Joshua, Henry?"

"You bit Joshua’s cheek, Luther," Henry replied evenly.

Luther scowled. "That’s because we’re friends—"

"I’m also Joshua’s friend," Henry cut him off, his tone calm but absolute.

Before Luther could respond, Henry gently brushed a lock of Joshua’s hair, as if to draw his attention back.

Joshua looked up, only to see Henry gazing down at him—his face still as strict and severe as ever, yet there was a faint, unreadable shimmer in his eyes. His voice softened. "Isn’t that right, Joshua?"

Joshua stared at him blankly, then instinctively nodded, his cheeks tinged pink.

Justin looked at Joshua’s expression and immediately felt alarm bells ringing in his head.

Luther also sensed that something was off, though he couldn’t quite tell what. All he knew was that watching Henry lean in so close to Joshua earlier had made his chest burn uncomfortably, like his heart was on fire.

Maybe it was just because he didn’t like seeing overly intimate scenes between guys—yes, that had to be it. He told himself that as he grabbed Joshua’s hand and said, "All right, you like roller coasters, don’t you? Come on, let’s do something a bit more exciting."

Leonard, seeing Luther’s sour face, burst out laughing and even gave Henry a thumbs-up. "Nicely done! Maybe now Luther finally realizes how clingy he’s been with Joshua. Even I was getting tired of watching that. You really are a reliable leader!"

Justin: "..." He was now confident Leonard would never have a chance with Joshua.

Henry said nothing, quietly following behind Joshua and Luther.

Luther’s voice was loud and confident, but the moment he saw the towering structure in front of them, his steps faltered.

The free-fall tower—a direct challenge to Luther. All right, maybe he didn’t need to take this particular challenge.

"Joshua, let’s just ride the roller coaster instead, this thing—"

"You’re the one who dragged me here." Joshua looked at him, puzzled, then smiled. "Just admit you’re scared."

Luther: "..."

He slumped forward, pressing his face into Joshua’s shoulder from behind, grumbling, "Fine, I’m scared, okay? You’re too cruel, Joshua."

Joshua couldn’t help laughing at Luther’s sulky tone, then burst out laughing for real.

Luther, feeling both embarrassed and indignant, raised a hand and gave Joshua’s waist a playful pinch.

Joshua yelped, jumping out of his arms.

He covered his waist and glared at Luther, outraged. "What are you doing?! I told you not to touch me!"

As he spoke, he wiped away the tears at the corner of his eyes from laughing too hard.

Luther frowned, clearly dissatisfied. "Was it that funny?"

Joshua shook his head and tugged on Luther’s arm. "Come on, let’s go."

This time, it was Luther’s turn to be surprised. "You’re really not going to play? You love these rides."

Joshua shook his head. "You said you’re scared. Besides, you’re the one who brought me here—I wasn’t planning to go on it anyway."

In short, since Luther was scared, Joshua wouldn’t force him into it either.

Luther’s eyes suddenly lit up.

He spread his arms wide and suddenly lunged forward, scooping Joshua up and spinning him around joyfully, as if even that wasn’t enough. His hands slipped under Joshua’s arms, lifting him higher as he spun in circles, laughing brightly. "Joshua! We’ll always be together!"

Joshua felt the world spinning around him, with only Luther’s bright, foolish grin filling his vision.

He was both dizzy and embarrassed, his whole face burning red like a ripe tomato.

He slapped a hand over Luther’s face, pressing down on his nose. "Put me down! How old do you think we are?!"
