My Idol System: An Idol, But Also A Savior
Chapter 127: Fansign
CHAPTER 127: FANSIGN
Leonard looked at Joshua’s angry little-rabbit expression and desperately wanted to ruffle his hair hard, but he knew that would probably make Joshua actually mad.
So in the end, Leonard only let him go, lifting a finger to trace lightly along the bridge of Joshua’s nose before tapping the tip of it. He muttered, "Petty little thing."
Joshua stared at him speechlessly, covering his nose with one hand.
Someone below seemed to hiss—or maybe gasp—but either way, all the baby Fobys had already fainted.
AAAAAA! The OTP is TOO BEAUTIFUL, WHAT ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO, SHOULD THEY JUST BRING THE WEDDING HERE ALREADY?!
ShineOn’s lineup, from left to right, was Henry, Leonard, Joshua, Luther, and then Justin.
Today, they appeared in stylish black outfits with a slight racing vibe. Joshua listened to the fans’ laughter and chatter around him, his heart pounding wildly, even though he looked much calmer on the outside.
"Joshua, look over here!"
Someone suddenly shouted from below.
Joshua instinctively turned, smiled a bit, and the crowd erupted again—accompanied by the nonstop sound of camera shutters.
Just then, a voice came from above. It was Joshua’s turn to greet his very first Polaris.
...
"Joshua, I’m Nyx."
It was the same girl who had just called for him to look down. Joshua remembered her—she was also the one who asked him to do bunny ears during their last performance at Shining Path. The dark circles under her eyes and her glasses made her easy to recognize.
She seemed to be a master of the fansite.
Joshua nodded obediently, smiling. "Hello."
Nyx did her best to hold back her emotions. She pushed up her glasses and smiled, but her eyes were already watery.
Joshua was just too adorable! Even more beautiful up close—and why in the world did he smell so nice?! Her son was truly amazing!
Nyx thought frantically as she pulled out a floppy bunny-ear hat. "Joshua, can you wear this?"
Joshua accepted the hat, nodded obediently, and the assistant beside him immediately helped him put it on.
He looked at Nyx, smiling. "Should I pose?"
As soon as he said that, he started posing.
Nyx silently clutched her heart, raising her camera and snapping photos like crazy, barely stopping herself from jumping up and clapping on the spot.
Aaaaaa, her Bunny was too pretty, too adorable! She couldn’t take it anymore!!!
"I’m about to defend my graduation thesis. Can you wish me luck?" Nyx asked.
She was very polite—she stayed seated the whole time, didn’t even ask to hold hands, only took photos, and asked for a single autograph on her album.
From the outside, no one could tell her heart was a storming mess.
Joshua immediately lifted both hands and said softly, "Put your hands on mine. I’ll give you luck. I’m not joking—I’m the luckiest person in the world."
Nyx: "!!!"
It felt like a tiny soul hovering above her head had just been shot by ten love-heart bullets, sending her collapsing to the ground dead—with a smile.
She tried to keep the corners of her mouth from twitching as she placed her hands onto Joshua’s. Aaaaa, so soft—oh my god I have goosebumps—I’m really touching him!
Joshua continued with his silly little performance: "Luck, luck~ let’s help chị Nyx defend her graduation thesis successfully." What others couldn’t see was the gentle energy flowing from his hands into Nyx, subtly strengthening her health. Health was the foundation of everything—Joshua hoped she would do well.
So childish... but adorable!
Nyx stared at Joshua’s dimples, at his eyes curving with joy, so overwhelmed she looked ready to faint. Only when the assistant reminded her that time was up did she jump to her feet, heart pounding, legs practically turning to jelly.
Joshua happily waved goodbye to her.
Would they meet again? Of course they would!
Nyx stared at the photos on her camera, overwhelmed by excitement.
Andy, meanwhile, had no idea why he even came. By the time he realized it, he had already bought a stack of albums and—somehow—won a fansign ticket.
He told himself that maybe he really had fallen into a trap. But looking at Joshua sitting in front of him—smiling sweetly and behaving so obediently—Andy knew that from the very beginning, he had willingly jumped into this hole.
How could a "hole" in this world be this beautiful, this adorable, this soft?!
That was almost Andy’s first thought when he sat down before Joshua.
Up close, Joshua looked even more stunning. His skin was so smooth it practically had no pores, his cheeks were faintly pink, his eyes clear and glimmering with light, and his lips were—honestly—too perfect.
Andy told himself to stay calm and introduced himself, "I’m Andy."
Joshua blinked. "Andy? I get your photos all the time. They’re wonderful."
Andy’s eyes lit up for a moment. He looked at Joshua’s eyes—filled only with joy and sincerity.
The photography skills he always complained about... somehow shone in certain places—in the eyes of Polaris, and in Joshua’s eyes too.
Andy blinked, then smiled. "Can you take a picture of me?"
Joshua nodded right away. "Sure, but I don’t have any experience!"
Before Joshua even finished speaking, Andy had already handed him the camera.
Joshua accepted it carefully and focused on finding a good angle.
The photo was just a simple, straight-on shot, but Joshua felt Andy looked better in person. It could only mean that he had no skill.
"Joshua, I think this will suit you really well."
As Andy spoke, he took a pair of cat-ear clips out of his bag. Joshua put them on, blinking cutely and posing in front of Andy’s camera.
Andy looked at him, knowing time was almost up.
He pressed his lips together and asked softly, "Let’s meet again next time, okay? Can I hug you?"
Joshua immediately spread his arms. "Of course—"
But before he finished, the assistant stepped in: "Joshua isn’t eighteen yet. He can’t give hugs. We’re very sorry."
Joshua: "..."
Andy froze, too, then quickly shook his head. "No, I’m the one who should apologize..."
Joshua reached out and held Andy’s hand. "Then come next year and hug me."
Andy: "!!!"
Don’t worry, Joshua—I’ll be your fan for life. I’ll hug you for life!
Every fan came with at least one gift, and the ShineOn table was soon filled with a wide variety of presents.
This time, the fan was a young girl dressed like a dreamy princess.
"Joshua, who do you think is the most handsome in the group?"
She asked with a smile.
Joshua thought seriously for a moment. "Everyone is handsome, but for me... the most handsome one is Henry."
The girl immediately looked disappointed.
At that moment, Luther leaned over from beside him. "Why is the most handsome Henry? It should be me. I’m your best friend, Joshua."
Joshua was speechless. "What does being best friends have to do with being handsome?"
Luther huffed, "Of course it matters! Like me—I think you’re the most beautiful person in the world. That’s called the best-friend filter. You don’t know that?"
