CHAPTER 78: MESSING AROUND - [100PS BONUS CHAPTER]

It took Joshua quite a while to finish applying the ointment to Luther, and he kept his eyes downcast, his face showing no expression.

Luther couldn’t help but poke Joshua’s cheek lightly, mumbling, "Joshua, where’s your dimple?"

Hearing this, Luther lifted the corner of his right lip, and his dimple immediately appeared clearly, his cheek puffing up a little.

Luther couldn’t help laughing, unable to resist squeezing Joshua’s cheek. He sighed, "Joshua, I told you not to act cute around me anymore!"

Joshua gently pulled Luther’s hand down and said softly, "Then just stop imagining things."

Luther laughed endlessly, while Joshua didn’t even know what was so funny. Luther’s sense of humor really was... low.

"Joshua, look!" Just then, Luther suddenly called out in a louder voice.

Joshua turned his head and immediately saw Luther’s bizarre expression. Yes, bizarre. Joshua didn’t even know how Luther had contorted his facial muscles.

What had once been a beautiful face now looked stretched at the chin, with hollowed cheeks, raised eyes, and exaggeratedly lifted eyebrows. Seeing Joshua looking at him, Luther’s eyebrows twitched and waved like rolling waves.

"Pfft!"

Joshua closed his mouth but couldn’t hold back a burst of laughter.

"Hahaha, what is this, Luther, hahaha!" He said, pulling out his phone. Luther’s face blinked back to normal, then suddenly changed again. Joshua’s eyes were practically spinning—every time Luther’s face shifted, he laughed so hard he could barely hold his phone.

"Hahaha, how are you even doing this? Show me!" Joshua was highly excited, his eyes sparkling as he looked at Luther.

Luther, hands on his hips and still shirtless, lifted his chin and roared, "This skill is exclusive. You think you can learn it because you want to?"

As he spoke, one eyebrow twitched and jumped.

Joshua was forced to laugh again, lightly tapping Luther’s bicep. He didn’t hit anyone while laughing, but he honestly couldn’t help it and needed to hold onto something.

Luther glanced down at Joshua, a slight curl at the corner of his lips. He then directly lifted Joshua, forcing him to stand upright.

Joshua’s whole body was limp, completely relaxed as Luther supported him. He placed his hands on his eyebrows, trying to raise them—but it was useless. His eyebrows moved up and down together, unable to move independently.

Joshua couldn’t help rubbing his eyebrows, muttering, "How is that even possible..."

He was about to try hollowing his cheeks when Luther’s hand grabbed his face. "Alright, I already told you, this is an exclusive skill."

Using both hands, Luther ruffled Joshua’s hair to satisfy his craving, then pushed him back onto the bed. "Go take a shower, then we’ll eat."

It was already dark outside. Earlier, Henry and Justin had said they were going out to get food, and nobody knew when they’d return.

Joshua obeyed and took his clothes into the bathroom, not forgetting to warn, "I just applied the ointment, better wait a while before showering."

Luther pushed Joshua lightly. "You act like you shower so fast. By the time you’re done, the medicine will have soaked straight into my insides."

Joshua laughed and nudged him a little. "It’s not that extreme..."

Usually, they might have had a bathtub, but the dorm didn’t, and Joshua didn’t stay in there for long anyway.

As Luther stepped into the bathroom, Henry and Justin returned. Joshua turned off his phone and saw them standing empty-handed in the doorway.

Seeing Joshua’s puzzled expression, Justin said, "The cafeteria had a lot of options today. Henry said you should pick for yourself."

Joshua felt a little confused. They went out and came back so that the whole group could go together. Henry usually didn’t bother with such things.

At that moment, the bathroom door suddenly opened a crack. Luther stuck his hand out, wagging it back and forth. "Shua, I forgot my towel again."

Joshua clicked his tongue and got off the bed, but Henry was faster. He picked up the towel from Luther’s bed and slowly walked to the bathroom, handing it to him.

Luther suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled Henry inside before anyone could react.

"Bang!"

The bathroom door slammed shut, and inside, Luther and Henry stared at each other.

Outside, Joshua and Justin exchanged a glance, then Joshua couldn’t help but burst into laughter, rolling on the bed.

Henry led the way out, and soon Luther came out too. He quickly dried his hair and went straight to Joshua. "Not bad, Shua. You still laughing?"

As he spoke, he pulled Joshua down from the bunk. In his hands, Joshua felt weightless, as if he had no mass at all. Luther placed him on the bed, and Joshua helplessly endured Luther’s mischievous hands on his face.

"Stop messing with me, my face is already red," Joshua protested, pushing him away.

He grabbed Luther’s head with both hands, shoving him back. "Hurry up, everyone’s starving."

Joshua pressed Luther down as he spoke, grabbing a towel to blot the water from Luther’s long hair quickly.

Luther watched slowly as Joshua dried his hair, his heart beating a little faster, but he said, "If you keep pressing like that, when will it ever be done? Gently rub, that’s enough."

Joshua was slightly speechless. "Is that how you treat your hair?"

Pausing momentarily, he concluded, "You really don’t deserve it."

Luther smirked. "I know you like this hair more than you like me."

Joshua immediately went quiet, his cheeks slightly pink, feeling hit right in the heart.

Luther continued, "And princess too. Tell me, what does that fairy tale in your head look like, little prince?"

Joshua felt Luther drawing dangerously close, their faces nearly touching. Just then, Henry spoke up: "Joshua, let’s go."

Hearing this, Joshua immediately nodded and ran to grab the hairdryer for Luther. "Dry your hair so we can eat."

Luther suddenly held his own shoulders and lowered his gaze. "My hands still really hurt right now."

Joshua: "...You didn’t seem to hurt them when you bullied me."

Luther blinked at him. "Shua, you’re really cruel. My heart is entirely yours, and you say I bullied you? Ah, men, you really are the worst."

Joshua felt that line sounded familiar. He asked, "If I’m a man, then what does that make you?"

"I’m Luther."

Joshua: "..."

Joshua: "Nine, be honest, the real best friend is the Luther one, right?"

Nine growled: [Do you really think I’m that foolish?]

Joshua: "Luther’s not foolish."

Nine was even more frustrated, not understanding why.

Finally, Joshua resigned himself to drying Luther’s hair, gently using low heat. He turned to Henry and said, "If everyone’s hungry, you can go ahead..."

Before he could finish, Luther snatched the hairdryer, cranked it to the highest setting, and wildly blew it over his head.

Joshua’s eyes went wide. "What the hell are you doing?!"

"I normally do it this way. If I wait for you to finish, my hair will dry itself!" Luther shouted. Only he knew how strange it felt to have Joshua’s gentle hands brushing his scalp, and he didn’t want to think too much about it.

Joshua frowned. "You’ll definitely lose hair doing that!"

Luther found it amusing—Joshua really loved this hair of his. He muttered, "A few strands won’t kill anyone. Alright, let’s go."

Saying that, he tossed the hairdryer aside, grabbed Joshua, and led the way out.
