CHAPTER 404: CHAPTER 400: AS A GHOST, ONE SHOULD NOT FAVOR ONE OVER ANOTHER

"You twitching or what?" The Eastern Ghost King, looking at the drinks on the table, said, "This wine is indeed brought by me, but it’s not poisoned, you know."

"It’s not that, the Great One has summoned me," Kuang Shan said, somewhat disoriented.

Not long after, they arrived at Qin Liuxi’s side yard.

Qin Liuxi, seeing the two Ghost Kings appear out of the Void, raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why have you both come together?"

Inside the house, Teng Zhao was focused on crafting talismans when he suddenly felt an eerie coldness, causing his hand to tremble, and the Spiritual Energy that had been gathering dissipated.

After considering it, he set down the talisman pen, walked out, and looked up at the sky, his pupils contracting.

"The master summoned us; we dare not disobey," Kuang Shan revealed himself.

The Eastern Ghost King glanced in Teng Zhao’s direction and laughed heartily, "I was just drinking with brother Kuang Shan, and since he wasn’t sure of the way, I took up the role of guide as I had nothing better to do."

"It’s good that you’ve come, I have something to tell you both," said Qin Liuxi, turning his head towards the room where Teng Zhao was and, seeing him staring this way, beckoned him over.

Teng Zhao quickly came over.

Qin Liuxi pointed at the two ghosts, "These are the Eastern and Northern Ghost Kings. Get to know their faces so you can summon them when needed in the future."

Teng Zhao closed his eyes and then opened them slowly until he could make out the appearances of the two ghosts.

"This is my senior apprentice, whose Daoist name is Xuan Yi," Qin Liuxi introduced him to the two Ghost Kings.

The Eastern Ghost King and Kuang Shan stared intently at Teng Zhao. They were genuinely surprised; being looked at by him gave them a strangely hollow feeling inside, prompting them subconsciously to release ghost energy, yet it felt as though something was pressing down on them.
