My Life As The First S-Class Guide
Chapter 200: QUEEN OF GUIDES
CHAPTER 200: QUEEN OF GUIDES
WONHEE noticed that aside from Soobin, Semi, Yejun, and Graham, everyone in the room looked shocked after she revealed the secret about the previous world.
[And it’s understandable.]
However...
"The memories I’ve retrieved so far cannot tell me who the enemies are, so let’s not focus on that part. We can just rely on our current abilities to search for the enemies," Wonhee said in a firm and clear voice. "What I want us to focus on is what we can do to help the Hunters in our country level up without relying on their Guides too much. As you already know, there are more Hunters than Guides in Korea. And the top Guides already belong to big guilds. Hence, the low-ranking Hunters could barely level up because they don’t have the support they need. I believe that helping them get stronger is better than putting all the burden on the Big 4."
"Wait," Kim Bora said, raising her hand. "Can I say something, Wonhee-ssi?"
"Oh, of course," Wonhee said, nodding. "Please feel free to voice your thoughts anytime. It’s okay to interrupt me."
[I’m not the mean and rude older Wonhee...]
"The one who confronted Song Moonho-ssi earlier, was it the Wonhee-ssi from the previous world?" Kim Bora asked curiously. "Do you have a split personality now?"
Yejun glared at Kim Bora. "Yah. Be polite to Wonhee."
"I’m being polite to Wonhee-ssi, Oppa," Kim Bora insisted. "I’m using honorifics!"
"Then don’t ask rude questions."
"Was it rude?"
"No, not at all," Wonhee answered to stop Yejun and Kim Bora from bickering. "Bora-ssi, you’re right. After I retrieved some of the memories from the previous world, the older me would sometimes steal my consciousness without my permission. Buy I’m working on it. For now, please excuse my rudeness earlier."
Kim Bora nodded politely. "I see. No wonder Wonhee-ssi looked different earlier. Thank you for answering my question."
"You’re welcome, Bora-ssi."
Ahn Kisoo raised his hand. "Can I ask something, too?"
Wonhee nodded. "Of course, Kisoo-ssi."
"We can’t help it that you and the others who retrieved their memories couldn’t remember who the enemies are. I understand that the Virus deleted the data, and that it’s protecting the identities of its people," Ahn Kisoo said carefully. "However, I can’t stop thinking about the second apocalypse. You’re saying that a second Outbreak happened in the previous world, right? Did I understand it correctly, Wonhee-ssi?"
"Yes, you did, Kisoo-ssi," Wonhee said while nodding. "But as I said earlier, we don’t remember what or who caused the second apocalypse. That’s why I want to focus on helping every single Hunter in Korea to level up so that we can be prepared this time."
"Wonhee-ya, did you only help the Big 4 in the previous world?" Rona asked carefully. "Do you think it was a mistake?"
"Actually, it was my Legendary Friend who told me that it was a mistake, Unnie," Wonhee said. "I believe it was better to hear it from her. Is it okay if she answered your questions through your Status Windows?"
Everyone agreed immediately.
Wonhee’s Status Window popped up then.
Judging by how everyone raised their heads at the same time, it was safe to assume that Bitna had successfully connected to their Status Windows.
[Legendary Friend: The Chu Wonhee in the past could only give Guiding to the naturally awakened S-Class Hunters in the world. Since Hwang Yejun wasn’t active in the previous world, the responsibility fell on the shoulders of the remaining three Big 4 members. I believe it was a mistake to let the entire country depend on only three people. The Big 4 were great back then, but they could only do so much.]
And Wonhee agreed.
[My abilities shouldn’t be limited to the Big 4 only.]
"Is that how you came up with the idea to help the Hunters level up without using the traditional way of receiving help from Guides, Legendary Friend-ssi?" Geon asked while tapping his fingers on the table. "To prepare for the second apocalypse, we should increase the strength of every Hunter in Korea instead of solely depending on the Big 4?"
[Legendary Friend: That’s right. But, as you already know, only the high-ranking Hunters receive Guiding from high-ranking Guides. Moreover, the Advanced Treatment only works on a few elite pairs. If we don’t help the low-ranking Hunters level up, then the safety of Korea will once again depend on the Big 4.]
"That makes sense," Graham said, nodding. "We don’t know what caused the second apocalypse. But if we were wiped out to the point that someone like Song Moonho had become the main character of the previous world, then it’s to assume that the second apocalypse would be worse than the first Outbreak. Instead of focusing on looking for the enemies, we should really start preparing now."
"But that doesn’t mean we’ll completely stop looking for them," Soobin said. "The Anti-System Faction is the most dangerous rebel group at the moment."
Semi nodded in agreement. "Let’s hear your plan, Hee-ya."
Wonhee smiled and nodded. "I’m going to create a social club solely for the highest-ranked Guides in Korea, and I’m going to be the Queen."
[I guess it’s time for me to put my royal blood to good use.]

"JUST what the hell happened here?!"
Lee Seojin blinked when he heard Park Ruda yell.
When he came to his senses, he realized that his hands were covered in blood.
But he could instinctively tell that it wasn’t his.
"Seodam!"
What?
Seojin followed Park Ruda’s movement until he found Seodam hanging on the wall like a painting.
Two swords made of blood pierced through his older brother’s shoulders.
Seojin eyes widened in shock. "H-Hyung!"
***
"AND THAT’S the end of our plan."
Wonhee waited for her guests’ reaction.
Yejun was the first to react— standing up while clapping his hands enthusiastically.
That was a bit embarrassing.
[It’s not like my plan is grand...]
Wonhee got even more embarrassed when the others soon clapped their hands.
[Even Kim Bora...]
"Chu Wonhee," Hamin, the only one who didn’t clap, raised his hand. "I have a question."
"What is it, Hamin-ssi?"
Hamin raised an eyebrow. "Is your Legendary Friend the Bitna I know?"
Wonhee almost let out a gasp.
[Bitna-ya, I thought you said Hamin-ssi was slow and dense?]
Her Status Window suddenly popped up.
[Legendary Friend: Hamin is supposed to be a dumb kid, so I don’t know how that idiot figured me out!]
