CHAPTER 728: *YOU CAME...*

Willow was flying toward the unconscious men and women. Lena was beside them, and when Willow joined her, she said, "They are completely healed, but they have been heavily tortured. When their suffering ceased, they all broke down. I have also healed their mental fatigue, so only you can wake them up now."

Willow nodded, saying, "It’s fine. Thank you, Lena. I know what I have to do, but..."

Willow then looked at her dads before asking them, "Did you feel that? Once I help them, they will not only wake up; they will evolve into divine creatures. As for the man who is already a Divine Drakonit, it will be the same; he will also receive a significant boost."

She turned more toward Axel before telling him, "Dad, they will need your guidance, or they could fail to evolve due to their current state of mind. The backlash if they fail could be terrible for them."

Kevin then asked Axel, frowning, "What kind of backlash are we talking about?"

Roman suddenly said, dead serious, "If they fail to channel the immense flow of energy in their bodies during their transformation, if they’re lucky, they could be crippled, which means they will only be able to use a small part of their power afterward."

"And if they aren’t lucky?" Tarik asked, who had stayed close to Johan all this time.

"They will die. Their energy reserves could even explode, which would be dangerous for all of us." Even though Roman wanted to save them all, Willow was on the front line... so his determination to save them wavered.

Axel then sighed and said to Roman, "Willow is not that fragile; our baby girl is already at God level 3, and she is increasing her strength at a high speed, so be more confident."

Kevin then smiled before activating his Stage 2, followed by all the Warrior Spirits still present. "Besides, no one will let her be hurt. Sweetie, treat them one by one. Wait for your Dad’s signal to go treat another one of them."

Willow nodded, and when Axel unleashed his powers, making his tattoos glow like the sun, all of Roman’s men looked at him in awe. Even Roman was impressed by this man, but if he was truly the one who destroyed the Divine laws preventing legendary creatures from evolving, then he could only be incredibly powerful.

Axel then told him through another telepathic link, "If it weren’t for Kevin, I would have never been able to evolve this far. The soulmate bond is way stronger than you can ever imagine. Besides, my dad is the god of destruction, so I have an advantage over the other legendary creatures."

Roman then asked curiously, as he heard a sweet melody coming from Willow that was calming their hearts, "Are you using your full power right now?"

He heard Axel laugh in his head, and Axel then told him, "Only 60% of it, but that will be enough to help them. Do not worry anymore, and let us handle this for you."

Roman just nodded, focusing his full attention on Willow and Johan, who was the first one to be treated by her.

When Willow had finished treating him and his energy reserve was now functioning normally, she helped him understand his current situation, and then an immense flow of energy began to wreak havoc not only in his body but also in his meridians.

Axel was ready to intervene, but Tarik was quicker than him. As he pushed his abilities to the maximum, he was able to follow the flow of energy in Johan’s body and help him channel it.

Tarik then sent a message to Axel, "I apologize, Axel, but I have a history with him; I will take care of him. You can move on to the next one."

Then, in turn, all those powerful enough to help the legendary creatures channeled their energy once Willow had treated them, gave a hand, and finally Axel just took care of three of them.

There was no accident, and one hour later, not only were the unconscious creatures awake again, but they had all evolved into Divine creatures.

Just after regaining consciousness, Johan looked at Tarik and smiled shyly at him, saying, "You came..."

Tarik replied as he hugged him, "Of course I came... and I’m sorry; I should have come back long ago."

Roman then approached Johan as well, and after a hug, he said, "I’m so sorry; I didn’t know what to do. That chameleon was really acting like you, and even though I had doubts, we were attacked before I could find out anything."

Johan then said to him, "It was my fault; I was careless. Becoming a Divine Drakonit made me arrogant. During my last mission, one of our men, Dimitri, was actually a demon working for Lilith; his level was even stronger than the general demon we know. I didn’t lose while fighting him, though; he used a very powerful sleeping pill. When I was about to lose consciousness, he removed his mask, and the next thing I remember is that I was trapped inside a room. From time to time, I could feel the energy of this demon and another one coming to see me. Images of Lilith came to my mind while I was tortured; I guessed they were trying to brainwash me. But I will never be a puppet of this goddess again; I would rather die."

He then looked worriedly at Roman and said, "I don’t know how long this demon had been there, but if Dimitri was this demon from the start, then he had been among us for more than a thousand years."

Roman then said to him, noticing Johan looking frantically from right to left, "Do not worry anymore!"

Tarik then explained to him, "Elias and Caleb have already taken care of him and others as well, but they won’t kill them. You will be able to have your revenge and kill that bastard yourself."
