CHAPTER 731: *IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE FOR THEM*

The demons were burned by the golden particles of this powerful attack, but the effect didn’t last long, as the three black pills they took were still in effect, allowing the black particles to easily neutralize the golden particles that had just harmed them.

Kevin and Caleb could now fight against these demons without getting eaten alive by the black particles thanks to Axel’s attack, and so Elias asked Axel through the communication stone, "Can you read their minds, or are they too powerful for you to handle?"

Axel answered him right away, using a telepathic link, as he was now at the peak of his strength,"With my full powers, I can do it! But it will be tiring."

Elias just nodded and said to him, "The demon standing to the left is the more powerful one. Fight against him with Kevin and try to get as much information as you can. Tell Kevin to use his Stage 3, and before he gets back to Stage 2, do not hesitate and kill this demon."

Axel was thrilled to have gotten such a mission from Elias, so he didn’t waste time and shared their mission with Kevin. After activating his Stage 3, they both went to fight the demon Elias assigned them.

As usual, Kevin would be the one asking questions, not allowing a second of respite to this demon, and Axel would transmit to him the information he got from this demon.

Even though the demon would probably not utter a single word, it was a piece of cake for them to get some useful information from him.

As Axel and Kevin left, Elias engaged with the other demon, and this time he used his Stage 2 to kill that bastard quickly. Previously, he had only used his god power to protect himself and Caleb against the black particles, but as he didn’t want to kill them just yet, he hadn’t activated his Stage 2.

Now that Axel and Kevin could interrogate the other demon, this one didn’t need to stay alive. Besides, there was still the chameleon to interrogate after this demon.

Things were going smoothly now, as he didn’t need to tell Kevin what kind of information he needed. He was sure that his adopted son would do a perfect job, and his son-in-law was so strong that he wasn’t worried for their safety. This allowed him to focus all his attention on the demon that was still struggling to stay alive.

The demon fighting against Elias was feeling helpless. Since a golden tattoo had appeared on his forehead and a golden aura emitted from his body, the black particles couldn’t hurt him anymore, and the damage he caused was almost nonexistent.

With only death awaiting him, the demon sought to make his energy reserve explode, aiming to inflict as much damage as possible and perhaps take one or two of his enemies with him.

However, Elias, recognizing that he was channeling a significant amount of chakra into his energy reserve, swiftly employed pressure point techniques to prevent this fool from succeeding.

Even if the demon wasn’t as powerful as him or Miguel, an explosion of his energy reserve would be dramatic. It could even damage the prison dimension, rendering their safety place unusable for the future battles to come.

It was a risk he couldn’t take, and so once the pressure points took effect and that this demon was now paralyzed, he killed him without mercy.

As the first demon was killed, Kelan appeared next to Caleb, who looked at him in disbelief. "I told you not to come! Just a minute earlier and you could have been killed by the black particles saturating the air."

Kelan hugged him and replied, "Nonsense! I gave Axel and Kevin three minutes before coming here; of course, the threat of the black particles has been taken care of."

Caleb couldn’t refute that, as Axel and Kevin had been leveling up non-stop to the point that they had become as powerful as the very best of them, the first Warrior Spirits.

They were still far from the powers of Elias and Miguel, but it was just the beginning of the journey for them. Just imagining the power that both of them would gain when Kevin would become a Priest made him feel completely helpless.

But deep down in his heart, he felt relief. After all this time, this new generation would finally be able to overcome the old one. Even though Caleb still loved being a Warrior Spirit and one of the guardians of peace, he wouldn’t be opposed to taking his retirement and living the rest of his life happily with Kelan and the rest of his family.

Caleb suddenly came back to his senses as Kelan said to him, while simultaneously asking Axel through the communication stones to share the information he had gathered so far, "I came because Willow said that her dads had already started to extract the information that Elias wanted. I will see if I can help them get more information."

Caleb just nodded, and as he saw his husband getting serious, he knew that Kelan was already analyzing the information Axel had shared with him.

Elias joined them just after and asked Kelan right away, "So how is it going?"

Kelan smiled and said, as he made the legendary sword that Caleb had crafted especially for him appear in his hand, before thrusting it into the throat of the chameleon, killing him on the spot, "Pretty well. We didn’t need this one anymore; the demon still fighting against Axel and Kevin was the one giving the orders. This chameleon was just a pawn for them that they used once we started to eliminate the training centers of Lilith."

"Continue!" Elias then said. Of course, he had made sure to put a powerful force shield around them, ensuring that the demon wouldn’t suspect that all his thoughts were being spied on by Axel and that their schemes were being discovered one after another.
