CHAPTER 189: CHAPTER 189 REWARDS AND NEW MISSIONS

Instead of going back to Skylight Group, I went straight to the BS Building.

By five-thirty, everyone else in the company had left, but Holly and her team were still there.

Jessica Lawrence was there planning, and Marry was waiting for me in my office.

"Why are you all still working overtime?"

Holly said, "Mr. Maine, we are integrating the resources we acquired today, preparing for visits and negotiations tomorrow and simulating scenarios. If all goes well, we should be able to exceed our targets in the next two days."

"Alright, if you can complete it in the next two days, I’ll give you a big bonus!" With such an excellent team, I couldn’t find any reason not to reward them!

"Thank you, Mr. Maine!"

"Jessica, why are you also working overtime?"

Jessica gave me a soft look. "The company has just started. Many areas need improvement, so we have to work overtime."

"You’ve worked hard." I said, "Once this busy period is over, I will reward everyone."

"He should be here soon."

"Edward, we’re brothers. I just made a phone call, and it happened to be helpful."

"Do you know how many people Mr. Gonzalez asked for help and how many connections he made? Those are three production lines. Not to mention Sevan City, even nationwide, it would not be easy to handle for a while. Even if we placed an order from abroad, it would take three to four months." He pointed at me and said with a smile, "You’re too modest. Mr. Williams speaks highly of you. That’s a good thing. The more people around you, the smoother the road will be. Maybe one day I’ll need you to help me. It didn’t take long for my words to come true."

"That’s also because of your help, Edward." I continued.

"Alright, stop flattering me." Edward said, "You’re capable indeed. Sometimes, being able to help others is a great skill!"

I smiled and said nothing. Marry said, "Alright, you two stop flattering each other. Mr. Gonzalez sent a message urging us to come over."

"Then let’s go!"

The three of us took Edward’s Bentley to the Palace of Sevan City.

In the luxurious private room, Mr. Gonzalez was already sitting there waiting, with two young men beside him, who bore a striking resemblance to Mr. Gonzalez.

"Mr. Gonzalez!" We greeted.

Mr. Gonzalez stood up. "Please sit down!"

"Oh, Shane and Sam are here too?" Edward held my hand and introduced, "William, these two are Mr. Gonzalez’s twin sons, Shane Gonzalez and Sam Gonzalez."

"Shane, Sam, this is William Maine, my good brother!"

"Hello!" After shaking hands, Shane said, "William, you’ve helped our family a lot. If there’s anything you need in the future, just let us know!"

Sam also said, "That’s right, anyone who can be friends with Edward is talented!"

I glanced at the two brothers, who looked cheerful and spoke nicely. No one could refuse to be friends with them.

Mr. Gonzalez smiled, "William, although my sons don’t have much talent, they are loyal. You should get to know them more in the future!"

The atmosphere was harmonious, especially since we were all from the younger generation. There was no barrier in our conversation.

By the end of the meeting, Mr. Gonzalez didn’t say much, but I got to know his two sons better.

Mr. Gonzalez took out a stack of cash. "Here, William, this is a token of my appreciation."

"Mr. Gonzalez, this..." I was surprised.

"This is what you deserve, take it!" Mr. Gonzalez forcefully stuffed the cash into my pocket.

Shane and Sam also said, "William, just take it."

Edward said, "William, Mr. Gonzalez’s appreciation is sincere. It’s not polite to refuse."

With that, I couldn’t refuse. "Then I’ll accept it."

After accepting the money, we chatted for another half an hour before leaving.

Mr. Gonzalez was very polite and even wanted to invite me out.

But I had to pick up Tatiana after ten o’clock so I had to decline politely. Shane and Sam exchanged contact information with me before we left.

The Bentley parked downstairs at the B5 Building. "William, we’re heading back first!"

"Edward, take care." Instead of driving her car, Marry left with Edward.

I quickly drove home, took a shower, and changed into a brand-new suit.

Then, I hurriedly drove to buy food, rushing to Bay No.1 just in time at ten o’clock.

That day was just too busy!

I called Tatiana. "Ms. Wilson, I’m waiting for you in the underground parking lot."

After a while, Tatiana came down, still wearing that white dress. Interestingly, she had changed her high heels to white sneakers!

Sitting in the passenger seat, Tatiana noticed the food in the car. "Did you buy this?"

"You haven’t had dinner, right?" I asked.

Tatiana looked at me for a moment. "You’re thoughtful."

She started eating the food I brought her and then I asked, "Ms. Wilson, where are we going?"
