Shannon Quinn unlocked her phone with her fingerprint, opened it, and saw a WeChat message from someone named "Cute Bunny". Based on the profile picture, Shannon realized it was Sharon Griffin’s WeChat.

Followed by a document, and Landon Sutton replied: Who’s your superior? Didn’t I pay him?

Landon Sutton: "Did Sharon Griffin send it?"

Shannon nodded, returned to the chat screen, and showed Landon the messages.

After going through them, while adding spices to the soup pot, Landon said: "She graduated from Kingsbridge, do you really think she won’t understand a problem like this?"

Shannon was taken aback: "What do you mean?"

Landon Sutton: "She wants to cozy up to your husband."

"Ha!" Shannon couldn’t help but laugh, "You’re too full of yourself. She’s just asking about a problem, and I forgot to tell you that she has a boyfriend, Jett Quinn."

Landon Sutton: "Then why did you tell me to promote her? Aren’t you afraid she’s Jett’s undercover agent in the company?"

Shannon: "She said she’s just here to experience workplace life."

Landon Sutton: "Since she’s here to experience workplace life, let her experience it properly. What’s the point of me giving her an easy way out?"

Shannon couldn’t argue with that.

Landon Sutton: "Can you delete her?"

Shannon tilted her head and looked at him with confusion.

Landon Sutton: "Before, whenever I heard a WeChat notification, I knew it was you contacting me. Now when it rings, I happily pick up the phone, only to find it’s from someone irrelevant. Do you understand the feeling of disappointment?"

Shannon smiled: "You can set the notification to Do Not Disturb."
