CHAPTER 462: CHAPTER 462: DRESS DECENTLY AND BEHAVE LIKE A HUMAN

Watching Landon Sutton enter the room, Shannon Quinn put down her phone and walked towards the bathroom: "I’ll go run the bath water for you."

Landon Sutton smiled and nodded, walked to the wardrobe, and searched for pajamas.

Shannon Quinn asked him, "Did you encounter any worries?

Landon Sutton held his pajamas, walked into the bathroom, not answering Shannon Quinn’s question, but instead hugged her from behind, with one hand gently resting on her abdomen.

"Are you... thinking about that child again?"

Shannon Quinn covered his hand, softly probing as she asked.

He didn’t answer, but his silence gave Shannon Quinn the answer.

She smiled, turned around and looked at him: "It’s all in the past, didn’t you once tell me, we must always look ahead?"

He buried his head in her neck and hugged her tightly.

Shannon Quinn merely chuckled softly, reached out to embrace him, comforting him like a child, gently patting his back.

It’s rare to see him showing such a vulnerable side.

"The water’s full, go take a bath." After a long embrace, when the water in the bathtub overflowed, Shannon Quinn moved slightly to remind him.

"Help me undress."

She should have teased him like this long ago.

The next day Erin Bishop and Susan Wilde came over, a few of them somehow got onto this topic while chatting.

Erin Bishop asked them, "Honestly, aren’t you worried about these husbands messing around outside?"

Shannon Quinn stirred the hot drink in her cup slowly, paused for two seconds before saying, "Probably not?"

Susan Wilde nodded, "I don’t think so either."

Erin Bishop looked at them both disdainfully, "Look at you, you’re speaking without confidence, it means you’ve thought about it."

This was a concern Shannon Quinn had had, even surprisingly, but Landon Sutton’s performance made her content.
