It was another day for the boring old me. I had nothing to do. My day starts with me waking up going to work and ends with me sleeping alone in my one-room apartment.

    I am broke. But life wasn''t that bad. Never saw my family so I wasn''t that depressed being alone, I was used to it.

    Well, maybe I could get a better life, have a girlfriend. But life wasn''t fair at that part as well. I was short, really short. Even though I had good facial features. I didn''t look masculine as the other ones. And being rejected every time or being friend-zoned also played a part. But I was alive… Until that happened.

    Here I was laying down in my own pool of blood. But hey I did save the kids.

    I was feeling sleepy and cold. Maybe this is the end. I close my eyes to have my eternal rest.

    It was dark. But the pain stopped. I still remember what happened.

    I was returning home after my lunch shift from the restaurant that I worked form. When I saw that the building in front of me on fire.

    I asked myself why me. It was a good apartment. The rent was low. Sigh… Just my luck. Then I heard a scream, I moved my attention to where it was coming from.

    It was the old landlord. "Anyone Please…. Save my grandkids."

    The landlord was always good to me and I knew the kids. They were two twin boys. And both of them were geniuses. They were also like me, lost their parents early. The old man was taking care of them.

    As I was thinking that I running to the back stairs without me realizing. Maybe because the twins called me Uncle that I see a family in them.

    The police and firefighters were busy with evacuations that they didn''t notice me.

    I ran as fast as I could. But my god… was the stairs long. As I went to the 3 floors. The fire was everywhere. And even if the heat wasn''t the problem the smoke was. It was hard to breathe.

    I could hear the firefighters asking if anyone was there. But I knew better. The twins must be in shock. Or fainted. Or something even worse. As I pushed the door opened.

    Few broken pieces of wood fell on me. Even though it didn''t hit my head one big piece of brick fell on my left shoulder. And as I was running another hot piece of metal gazed my other shoulder burning it.

    I got burned. My left elbow and shoulders were on hurting I didn''t notice but it was badly burned showing flesh and some bone whites underneath. But I didn''t pay attention to it. I went to the direction towards the twin''s room.

    And I saw them they were sweating & shaking from the heat and fear.

    "Cough… Oi….Cough… Oi, ." I shouted as their eyes lit up.

    ""Uncle Sam?"" I go near them and kneel. They were crying and seeing their shock I had to comfort them, I hid my left arm not showing my elbow.

    "Everything''s going to be all right… Cough… Ok," I showed my best smile.

    I picked them up. "Ok don''t open your eyes and hug me tightly," I said as they both did.

    It was very hard to place two kids on my ??p. It''s good that they were 6 years old. Any bigger than that I would have my back broken. Sidenote if I get out of here I''m gonna join a gym.

    I laughed at myself and was returning. I was running the way from where I came.

    But I couldn''t use the stairs as the fire was all over the place.

    If it was only me I could take the risk. But the twins would get third-degree burns. I saw the balcony window. That was broken.

    I kicked and it shattered. I saw the people down from me. I couldn''t wait as the building was shaking.

    As I was looking I heard a large ''BOOM'' from behind. I looked and saw in horror as the opposite to us was the kitchen it had gas cylinder in it. And it was on fire…

    And I with all of my courage jumped. As I was falling I gripped the kids tightly. Time was slowing down.

    It was the 3 floor. I should be able to survive. And I was seeing my life as a spectator. What I did. The wrongs decisions I made. The happiness I felt. The sadness of being alone every night.

    It was like I was watching my whole life. Then I felled down hard.

    I never knew the basic gymnastics. So I didn''t roll after the fall. As my legs took all the force from falling. I suddenly felt my back in pain.

    As I landed with the additional weights of the kids. I threw them towards the people in front before fully falling.

    And here I was dead. Sigh… I couldn''t even finish the last chapter of My Hero Academia.

    Hahhhahaaha… Where is this place? It''s very comfy. Yawn… I am going to sleep.

    Then I felt my self-getting pushed. It was uncomfortable. Hey what… the…

    Then I saw light. And I was going towards it. Until the light became bright. And… What the Fuuuuu….
