Xu Xiaoyou surveyed her surroundings, her gaze sweeping over the floor filled with mannequin models before looking down to the right, coincidentally meeting a pair of profound eyes.

After receiving a reply from the other side, she went together with Tang Xin to the address Everme had mentioned behind the curtain, arriving at this lone villa nestled in the Olympus mountains. Who would have thought that upon entering, they'd see such a scene—should she attribute it to artistic flair?

"I must apologize, Miss Xu, for exposing you to such a chaotic scene inside the villa," Everme said. "After receiving your email, I returned to the studio at once."

Their attitude took Xu Xiaoyou by surprise. They were quite courteous, not as haughty as she imagined a renowned artist would be, yet they appeared quite young.

She noticed the hollow heart design on their chest—it was the heart from a deck of cards. Xu Xiaoyou wondered, could it be that they were also from the Dawn Office?

Wasn't the naming rule for people from the Dawn Office to combine a surname with the corresponding card number?

Everme seemed to be searching for something with their gaze.

Finally, it landed on Tang Xin behind Xu Xiaoyou; the girl's nature was introverted, and being her first time outside the academy into the Olympus district, the opulent atmosphere made her appear somewhat reserved.

Upon noticing Everme's look, she pondered for a moment, and then stood forward to meet the gaze.

"With such extraordinary elegance and beauty, no wonder you are the daughter of Stars," Everme praised.

Tang Xin was startled, pointing at herself: "Me?"

She looked at herself, dressed in the most ordinary attire, and coupled with her usual lack of self-care, her elegance and beauty weren't anything remarkable.

Noticing the calluses on the girl's fingers—from long-term practice with string instruments—Everme furrowed their brow again and looked at Xu Xiaoyou: "What's going on?"

Xu Xiaoyou was puzzled: "What do you mean, what's going on?"

Everme's tone was pained: "What a joke, she's a Starry Singer, a daughter of Stars. She ought to be born into the upper echelons of society, pampered and cherished like the stars, so why does she have calluses on her hands?"

"No, no, no, it's not like that at all. I'm just ordinary," Tang Xin waved her hand repeatedly.

Everme shook their head and paced in the room for a moment, then suddenly remembered something, as their beautiful eyes lit up.

"To be honest, knowing that you wanted to design a gown for this lady, my heart remains overwhelmed with excitement. Designing a gown for a Starry Singer to grace the stage and seeing her dazzle among the stars is my honor." Everme pressed their hand to their chest.

Then, their eyes shifted again, gazing at Xu Xiaoyou.

Under the gaze almost solidified into a tangible inquiry, Xu Xiaoyou was a bit uneasy.

"Regarding the gown's design, leave it entirely to me. In your email, you mentioned wishing for the dress to amaze everyone at the selection event in two days. That's very simple."

"A Starry Singer herself is enough to awe everyone; it's just because of this girl's past, her appearance is shrouded in a gray layer, hiding her extraordinary beauty."

"But I can still see her beauty; with just a little refinement and attire, she can burst forth with remarkable radiance."

"Two days is enough time for me to design and make her gown, ensuring she will captivate everyone's gaze when she takes the stage."

Everme snapped their fingers, and the assistant beside them understood, picking up the measuring tape to approach the blue-haired girl, pulling the extended tape from the spiral shell, ready to measure Tang Xin's body data.

"Don't be nervous, lift your hands," the assistant chirped lightly.

Tang Xin lifted her hands as the female assistant instructed, watching as the measuring tape was compared from her elbow to her wrist, then circled around her waist, as hands measured over her body, making her shyly turn her face.

Being custom-measured so formally for a gown, just like a young lady attending a family ball, such a thing that would only appear in dreams was actually happening to her.

She looked towards Xu Xiaoyou, who also watched her with a gentle gaze.

This reminded her of the promised terms in the contract she saw when they first met.

The other had many secrets, seemingly light-hearted and meek, constrained to a security post, yet could have the top fashion designer of the Star of Art create custom clothes for her.

Seeing the girl like this, the assistant smiled mischievously, inexplicably wanting to tease this girl and, after finishing the measurements, gently pinched her waist.

"All done, a perfect beautiful girl's figure."

The assistant clapped their hands, after writing down in a sticker and tearing it off to hand to Everme.

The latter, observing the quirky girl, said little other than advising to avoid a bad impression on the esteemed guest.

After glancing briefly, Everme formed an initial idea for Tang Xin's makeup and attire but did not hasten to sketch, instead walking directly in front of Xu Xiaoyou.

"I'm curious, what energy do you possess that made both the Order Court and my uncle Charles simultaneously mention you to me, earnestly wishing I'd assist you?"

Order Court?

Xu Xiaoyou felt perplexed. Why would someone from the Order Court mention her to Everme?

She had no connections with the Oasis's Order Court family.

However, she didn't show it on her face as Everme's voice continued to echo in her ears.

"Let me make it clear; this 'Wing Blue Gown' will be extremely costly, beyond what you can imagine."

"Although they vouched for me, I still don't believe you have the capacity to repay it."

While saying this, Everme's calm gaze landed on Tang Xin:

"After all, you could only let a daughter of Stars emit such a faint, unnoticeable glow."

"But her light was even dimmer before," Xu Xiaoyou lifted her chin. "I am the reason she shines now; without me, she would have been completely overshadowed by the crowd."

Tang Xin watched the two converse from a distance, unable to hear what they were discussing, yet sensing some sort of tension, a conflict of sorts?

Mouthing her thoughts, the assistant suddenly popped their head, nudging Tang Xin's shoulder, guiding her towards the parlor: "Would you like some snacks?"

"Come on, don't be shy."

"Daughter of Stars? But I will make her far more radiant than the night sky itself," Xu Xiaoyou glanced at the blue-haired girl's retreating figure, her tone devoid of any inflection.

"Is that so?" Everme arched an eyebrow, their tone playful. "Is this your promise?"

Finally, something seemingly agreed upon without words.

"Understood, I shall design her gown."

"But..." Everme shifted tact, "I still don't think you can afford the value that dress will bring."

Finishing this, not waiting for Xu Xiaoyou's response, Everme clapped their hands, and the crisp sound echoed through the villa's spacious foyer.

"Ladies, why don't you come over, and we'll play a little game?"

After speaking, Everme sat down before a carved chair, slowly stroking the marble table in front, causing countless playing cards to appear out of nowhere, cascading down the table in a flurry.

Each card reflected brilliant light under the lamplight set with golden gemstones, among them the Heart 6 appeared between Everme's fingers:

"Like the Dawn Society's initiation, a simple card game. Complete this little game."

"And I'll design the Wing Blue Gown for her without charging any fee."
