My Possessive CEO: Trembling in His Arms
Chapter 105: Forcibly Taken Away by Caleb Yates
CHAPTER 105: CHAPTER 105: FORCIBLY TAKEN AWAY BY CALEB YATES
Renee pondered things for too long in the evening, which disrupted her sleep. She went to bed past two in the morning and got up after five, totaling just over three hours of sleep. Her mind was foggy as she boarded the plane.
She initially wanted to catch up on sleep on the plane, but after a hazy nap, she felt even worse. After disembarking, she experienced not only tinnitus but also dizziness and nausea.
Harvey Lancaster looked at Renee Winslow’s bloodless pale face and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
Renee was feeling unwell, her head dizzy and she wanted to vomit.
She forcibly suppressed the nausea, her breath weak, "I’m going to the restroom."
Harvey: "Alright."
Realizing Renee had no phone, Harvey had to add, "I’ll wait for you outside the restroom."
Renee nodded, "Okay."
Entering the restroom, Renee stood at the washing area, washed her face with cold water, leaned on the sink with both hands, head down, dry heaving into the white ceramic basin.
She was a bit panicked because she wasn’t sure if her nausea was caused by motion sickness or pregnancy.
During the recess, Jack Yates had locked her for seven to eight days, and each night he had his way with her, forbidding her from taking any medication.
Later, Jack took her abroad. Although precautions were taken after going abroad, she couldn’t guarantee she hadn’t gotten pregnant during those prior days.
Thinking again, even if she had gotten pregnant, it wouldn’t likely show symptoms this quickly, slightly calming her mind.
Just as Renee was lost in thought, someone suddenly patted her shoulder.
Startled, Renee spun around to see the tall and elegant woman in front of her. Initially, she was stunned, then her eyes widened in shock.
"You!" She couldn’t believe her eyes, looking at the person before her, bright red lips, golden wavy hair, a green French long dress, with two massive spheres in front. Whether they were balls or something, they were ridiculously large.
Caleb Yates’s outfit had shocked her, took her a while to react, and quietly asked, "Why are you here?"
Before the other could answer, she quickly added, "Why are you dressed like this? Are you avoiding..."
She wanted to say avoiding "Jack," but swallowed the words just in time.
Caleb coughed, cleared his throat, and deliberately spoke in a sharp and high-pitched voice, "I came specifically to find you."
Renee felt goosebumps all over, but couldn’t be bothered with the nausea. Looking at the cross-dressed Caleb Yates, she frowned, "Could you stop seeking me out, please? I beg you. Last time you came to see me, you should know how he treated me."
Caleb Yates grasped Renee’s shoulders, gazing steadily at her, "Renee, tell me the truth, do you want to leave Jack Yates?"
Renee shook his hands off, helplessly, "Is it up to me to leave if I want to?"
Caleb tossed his golden waves that hung down near his face, still speaking sharply, "As long as you want to leave him, I can make sure you do."
Renee laughed softly, "Leave? How?" She pointed outside, "He’s specifically assigned people to monitor me and even confiscated my phone. Besides, I haven’t graduated yet; I need to return to Northcity to attend university. Tell me, how should I leave him?"
Caleb tossed the other side of the wig and continued, "That’s why I’m here specifically waiting for you. Renee, I promised to take you away, and I will."
"Then what?" Renee mocked with a smile, "Where can you take me?"
Caleb looked at her pale face, raised a hand to touch her head, "Don’t be afraid, I won’t imprison you like him, nor will I force you; I’m not as perverted as he is."
Renee however shook her head, "Forget it; go out quickly. I’ll pretend I never saw you."
Caleb took out a pack of flight tickets from the mommy bag he carried on his shoulder.
"This is for going back home, this to Alchester, this to Westerhall, this to Vancroft, this to Kyodo, this to Jinan, and this to Maekong. Where do you want to go?"
Renee: "..."
Caleb: "The earliest flight is to Westerhall. To be safe, we can go to Westerhall first, then transfer to Jinan, then fly from Jinan to Maekong. My aunt is in Maekong, and my uncle is a senior military officer there, so you won’t need to fear Jack Yates. Once you’re stable there, I’ll have people handle your withdrawal process and help you reapply for college there."
Renee listened in a daze.
Caleb put the tickets back in the bag, pulled out a silver wig and placed it on Renee’s head, then took out a boy’s sweatshirt, denim jeans, and a pair of boy’s sneakers.
He placed the clothes and shoes in Renee’s arms, urging her, "Quickly change into these in the stall; that bodyguard is a musclehead and hasn’t known you long. If you dress as a school boy, even if you walk right past him, he won’t recognize you."
Seeing Renee dazed, Caleb placed the silver wig on her head, its length stopping just below her ears, showing a glimpse of her fair earlobe.
Caleb took off her pearl earrings and put a black stud on her left ear lobe.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Renee indeed saw a drastic change.
Caleb stood behind her, hands on her shoulders, watching the mirror with her, "See, quite a change, isn’t it? Once you change your clothes, Harvey will never recognize you."
Renee still felt it was too risky. Moreover, staying beside Caleb Yates, would she truly be safe?
Who knows if Caleb Yates might not end up being Jack Yates the second?
"No." She took off the wig and stuffed it back into Caleb’s mommy bag, smiled at him, "Caleb Yates, thank you, but I can’t leave him now."
"Why?" Caleb asked urgently, forgetting to disguise his voice, suddenly breaking out in his rough masculine tone.
Renee: "When my grandpa was sick in the hospital, he helped me. Lately, my grandma was hospitalized for high blood pressure, and he helped me again."
Caleb, agitated, grabbed his hair, messing up his golden wig, "Is that all? How do you know I can’t help you?"
Speaking of it, Renee was furious, too: "If you hadn’t dragged me to your place then, how would I have met him? How would he have..."
She stopped halfway and waved her hand, "Let’s not bring up the past; I won’t blame you. But I beg you, really don’t contact me anymore. You’re hurting me, and you’re hurting yourself."
Caleb raised a hand to touch her face, but Renee hurriedly waved it away.
Caleb’s eyes narrowed, and a rebellious aura broke forth from him.
Renee ignored her, turned to leave, but as she took two steps, she suddenly felt a pain in her neck, like an ant bite.
"You..."
Before she could finish, Caleb tightly held her waist with one hand and injected an anesthetic into her with the other.
Renee glared at him angrily, "Caleb Yates, you..."
Caleb covered her mouth and dragged her into the stall.
Thirty seconds later, the anesthetic took effect, and Renee Winslow closed her eyes, fainting in Caleb Yates’s arms.
Caleb quickly changed her clothes, then carried her out of the restroom, brazenly walked past Harvey Lancaster, heading straight to the security checkpoint.
