CHAPTER 114: CHAPTER 114: INCREDIBLE STAMINA!

Renee Winslow had a new understanding of Jack Yates’ physical strength and endurance.

She already knew he had great stamina, but she still underestimated him, not expecting him to maintain his usual level even after being injured.

He’s simply inhuman!

She originally thought that since he was injured, it wouldn’t be convenient for him to exert himself, so she proposed to take charge.

With her stamina, she could only manage to control once, and at most for ten minutes.

Her plan was to hold on for ten minutes to satisfy him, and then find a way to end it sooner.

However, after ten minutes, Jack Yates forcefully took over control, showing an astonishing level of energy.

Afterwards, Renee Winslow lay in his arms, feeling dizzy, like she was the one who was hurt.

The damn man, making her worry for nothing.

After Jack was satisfied, he became even more tender towards her, gently cleaning her and then carrying her back to bed.

Renee Winslow slept soundly through the night, and when she woke up the next morning, Jack Yates was no longer in bed.

She washed up upstairs, changed into home clothes, and went downstairs to eat. After eating, she went into the study on the first floor to read.

Jack sometimes used this study too; he didn’t keep important documents here, so Renee could go in anytime.

Renee picked up a foreign classic, just sat down, when her phone rang on the table. Seeing the caller, she frowned involuntarily.

"Hello, Grandma." She answered the call, "What’s up?"

Winnie Lowell asked with a smile, "Have you eaten?"

Renee Winslow said, "I’ve eaten, have you eaten?"

Winnie Lowell replied with a smile, "Grandma has eaten." She then complimented with a laugh, "The food at the rehabilitation hospital is really tasty, even better than the restaurants.’

Renee didn’t want to hear these pointless words, so she hurriedly asked, "Grandma, is there something you need?"

She had just called yesterday evening, and now was calling again, so there must be something. She wouldn’t call so frequently if there wasn’t.

Winnie Lowell sighed helplessly, "Oh, your aunt wants to divorce your dad."

Renee didn’t speak.

Winnie Lowell sighed again, "Oh, if they divorce, what will happen to your dad, what about the kid? The child is still young and can’t be without a mom."

Renee asked, "Is she not taking Wilder Winslow with her?"

Winnie Lowell, who a second ago was weak and sickly, instantly became animated upon hearing about taking the grandson away, as if she had taken an elixir, her voice filled with energy, saying loudly, "Take him? No way! He’s The Winslow Family’s grandson. How could we let her take him? If she intends to leave, she should only leave by herself! Of course, it’s best if she doesn’t leave at all and continues to live harmoniously with your dad. What can’t be worked out? Your dad may not have great abilities, but he’s a decent man, doesn’t gamble or sleep around, and has a good temper. It’s shocking she’s still not satisfied, completely insensible."

Renee Winslow: "..."

Renee was so shocked she was speechless.

Winnie Lowell’s voice weakened again, "She’s making a fuss about wanting a divorce, complaining your dad has no abilities, and saying the county’s education is poor, the house too small. She wants to buy a house in Vintara, in The Riverbend District."

Renee sneered, unable to hold back, "Why doesn’t she shoot for the sky?"

Winnie Lowell, who had just been criticizing Whitney Lowell a moment ago, became displeased to hear Renee saying anything bad about Whitney, "Don’t talk about your aunt like that, she just wants your brother to attend a better school. Everyone can understand that."

Renee’s tone was sarcastic, "Does my dad have the money to buy a house in Vintara?"

"So..." Winnie Lowell paused, "So Grandma is calling to talk to you about this."

Renee suddenly understood, feeling as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her head, soaking into her heart.

But she laughed and said, "I don’t quite understand what you mean, Grandma."

Winnie Lowell spoke in a very troubled tone, "Renee, your boyfriend, is he very wealthy?"

Renee laughed in anger, "Grandma, what exactly are you getting at?"

Winnie Lowell chuckled, "What I mean is, can you talk to your boyfriend to see if you can borrow some money, so we can buy the house in Vintara first, then sell the county’s house, and after selling it, pay him back."

Renee coldly laughed, "Borrow money to buy them a house? Grandma, do you really think I’m here to settle debts for The Winslow Family?"
