CHAPTER 141: CHAPTER 141: "IS THERE ANYWHERE ON YOU I HAVEN’T SEEN?

The result of Renee Winslow’s resistance was that Jack Yates kept her up until after 1 a.m. before she could finally sleep.

Afterwards, she felt like half her life was gone. She closed her eyes and quickly fell unconscious, or you could say, she passed out.

When she woke up, it was already afternoon.

No one was beside the bed; Jack Yates wasn’t in the bedroom.

Renee Winslow sat up and stretched her legs to the floor, where an unusual sensation made her wince in pain.

Feeling uncomfortable front to back, she walked awkwardly.

Since Jack Yates had explored a new path, he had become bolder and no longer restrained himself.

In the past, he would exercise some restraint, afraid of really hurting her badly. Now, he had no fear because he could switch things up.

While changing clothes, Renee Winslow stood in front of the dressing mirror, looking at her miserable appearance, and cursed Jack Yates’ ancestors eighteen times!

That damn man!

The dog of a man!

Curse him with impotence, premature ejaculation, and dying without a legacy!

Her originally fair skin was now covered with red marks. Neck, collarbone, chest, arms, legs, they were everywhere—especially the sides of her waist and inner thighs, red to the point of blue and purple.

Renee Winslow let out a breath and took out a long-sleeved top and pants from the wardrobe to wear.

The marks on her body were covered, but her neck remained exposed.

She could only apply thick foundation on her neck so it wouldn’t show. But on close inspection, the marks were still vaguely visible.

However, apart from Jack Yates, no one else would deliberately get so close to scrutinize her neck.

With thick foundation on her neck, not applying any to her face would look strange, making it seem even more suspicious.

So Renee Winslow applied some foundation to her face too. After applying it, she felt it looked unnaturally pale. She could only apply some bright red lipstick and touch up her eyebrows.

After all that effort, it was like she had quickly put on a simple makeup.

Once she finished getting ready, Renee Winslow was about to head out when the bedroom door was pushed open, and Jack Yates walked in.

Seeing Renee Winslow’s alluring look with her fair skin and red lips, Jack Yates narrowed his eyes, walked over to her, and scooped her up into his arms.

"Who are you dressing so seductively for?"

Renee Winslow’s waist was already sore; when he pressed her hard against him, she winced and glared at him plaintively.

Yet, in Jack Yates’ eyes, Renee Winslow seemed to be seducing him on purpose, making his heart itch.

His breath quickened, and his Adam’s apple moved up and down briskly as his eyes darkened, tightening his grip on her waist.

"Don’t tempt me; you already can’t handle it."

Renee Winslow: "..."

"Who’s tempting you?" Renee Winslow felt baffled and gave him another glare. "You still know I can’t handle it, yet yesterday you still... hiss, it hurts."

Jack Yates let go of her and asked, "Where does it hurt?"

Renee Winslow huffed, "Everywhere hurts."

Jack Yates carried her to the bed, forcibly removing her clothes and pants to apply medicine for her.

Renee Winslow kicked his shoulder, "No need for medicine. It smells strong, and people will know..."

"Know what?" Jack Yates looked up at her.

Facing his intense gaze, Renee Winslow couldn’t withstand it, avoiding eye contact, softly saying, "I don’t want the medicine; it doesn’t smell good."

Jack Yates lowered his head, bringing his handsome face closer, still applying medicine with gentle and meticulous hands, inside and out.

Renee Winslow felt his hot breath, like feathers on fire brushing against her skin, tickling and burning.

She couldn’t help but take a gasp, surprised by the sultriness of her own voice when it escaped.

Jack Yates suddenly lifted his head, observing her flushed face, a meaningful smile curling his lips.

Renee Winslow’s face reddened further. Embarrassed and annoyed, she kicked Jack Yates in the face.

Once she kicked him, Renee Winslow froze, stiffly staring at him.

It’s over, she thought. Won’t Jack Yates explode in anger?

Surprisingly, Jack Yates wasn’t angry. He merely bit his cheek with his tongue, smiling coldly and wickedly, "Looks like the medicine worked well. You’ve regained your strength."

Renee Winslow blushingly defended, "You’re the one who kept bringing your face close, so close."

Jack Yates raised a brow, "Oh? I forced myself closer? Who was it yesterday, pressing my head down to make me..."

Before he finished the word "suck," Renee Winslow hurriedly sat up, covering his mouth with her hand, "Do not say it!"

She sat up too quickly and winced with a gasp.

Jack Yates pressed her shoulder, "Lie down."

During the rest of the medicine application, Renee Winslow felt more like she was being tortured.

Because Jack Yates deliberately teased her, sometimes using his calloused fingertips to press lightly and heavily, and other times, his fingers grazed her slowly.

Renee Winslow, both angry and embarrassed, could not hold back any longer when he withdrew his hands, and kicked him again.

She intended to kick him in the chest, but Jack Yates moved, and she ended up kicking the least appropriate spot.

Jack Yates grunted, his eyes suddenly filled with a piercing frost.

Renee Winslow was so frightened that her heartbeat nearly stopped. After a moment of eye contact, she shut her eyes tight and feigned unconsciousness, collapsing onto the bed.

Right at that moment, Jack Yates’ phone rang.

To Renee Winslow, it was like hearing celestial music, making her almost burst into tears of relief.

Jack Yates stood up, pinched her face, "Your bravery is growing by the day!"

Feigning death, Renee Winslow kept her eyes tightly shut, not saying a word.

Jack Yates went to take the call, his voice still chilling and composed as he succinctly gave instructions, then put down his phone and returned to the bedside.

"Get up, come eat."

Renee Winslow finally opened her eyes, pouting, "You’re not allowed to be mad."

Jack Yates: "Do I seem like someone who’s easily angered?"

Renee Winslow blinked, "...Aren’t you?"

Jack Yates frowned, his face taut and silent.

Renee Winslow quickly grabbed his hand, placating him with a smile, "No, no, your emotions are inscrutable. You’re the epitome of calm!"

Jack Yates’ frown deepened, as he realized even in front of Renee Winslow, he was prone to losing control, with his emotions easily swayed by her.

Realizing this, Jack Yates’ chest felt inexplicably congested, both agitated and chaotic.

Renee Winslow awkwardly released his hand, picked up her pants to put them on.

"Don’t wear long pants," Jack Yates said, yanking her pants off and throwing them to the floor, "Change into a long skirt."

Already swollen, wearing pants tightly would be uncomfortable, not to mention hindering recovery.

"Oh," Renee Winslow responded, preparing to get out of bed to fetch a skirt.

Jack Yates stopped her again, "Don’t move."

He turned to the wardrobe, fetching a Southeast Asian-style long skirt for her, pairing it with a white long-sleeved top.

Renee Winslow took the skirt and the top, thanked him, and turned her back to change clothes.

Jack Yates chuckled, "Which spot on your body haven’t I seen?"

Renee Winslow paused, fastening the buttons crookedly.

She pursed her lips, opted not to retort, unwilling to bicker with him.

Jack Yates went to the living room to smoke, took a couple of puffs, found the taste off, frowned irritably, and was just about to put out the cigarette when Renee Winslow came out of the bedroom.

Seeing the white smoke around him, Renee Winslow laughed, "You smoke and drink, yet want kids? Aren’t you afraid they’d be born deformed?"

The cigarette in Jack Yates’ fingers paused, and he looked up at her, "So, if I quit smoking and drinking, you’d be willing to have them?"
