CHAPTER 25: CHAPTER 25: DIDN’T YOU DRINK LAST NIGHT TOO?

Renee Winslow lay weakly on Jack Yates’ chest, her small face pressed against his broad chest, listening to his deep, powerful heartbeat.

Jack Yates’ hand moved back and forth on her waist, feeling her soft and tender skin, his Adam’s apple rolling.

Renee Winslow tensed up and shivered, afraid he’d start again, hurriedly trying to make conversation: "Are you going to work tomorrow?"

Jack Yates tightened his grip on her slender and soft waist: "No, I’ll stay home with you."

Renee lifted her head from his embrace, her eyes sparkling as she looked at him: "So we’ll be home all day tomorrow?"

Jack Yates curved his lips: "Where do you want to go?"

Renee Winslow actually didn’t want to go anywhere; she just brought it up to divert Jack Yates’ attention, to keep him from having those indescribable thoughts.

She knew Jack Yates hadn’t had enough yet, given his needs, even every night would require two or three times. Especially since they had been apart for ten days, with him holding back for ten days—twice wasn’t enough, he needed at least five or six times.

But she couldn’t take it anymore. They’d gone twice in a row with hardly any break in between, adding up to more than an hour. She needed to rest, at least half an hour before they could continue.

To lengthen the rest period, Renee Winslow racked her brain to chat with Jack Yates.

"I want to go to the seaside, can we go to the beach?"

Jack Yates kissed her cheek: "Sure, let’s go to Tynedale."

Renee Winslow rolled off him, yawning: "Then let’s sleep early and go early tomorrow."

Jack Yates embraced her from behind: "Tynedale is close to Northcity, it’s a two-hour drive. We can go in the afternoon, sleep in as long as you want in the morning."

Renee shivered, thinking how incredibly strong this man was.

She didn’t respond, feigning sleep with her eyes closed.

Jack Yates’ right arm slid under her neck, his large hand holding her shoulder, pulling her into his embrace, kissing her, while his other hand was busy moving up and down.

Renee Winslow pushed his face away, curiously asking: "Aren’t you tired?"

She was truly curious, this man had been on a flight for over ten hours, and from the airport to home was over an hour. If it were her, she’d be exhausted, just wanting to lie down and do nothing, not even wanting to talk.

But Jack Yates actually had the energy for such things, and one or two times weren’t enough—he wanted more.

Is he even human?

How could a normal person have such abundant energy and stamina?

Jack Yates chuckled, lowering his head to lightly bite her ear: "For me, it’s refreshing."

Rather than tiring, it made him more relaxed.

In matters like these, Renee Winslow could never refuse Jack Yates; whatever he wanted, she couldn’t stop him. Or rather, in any matter, whatever Jack Yates wanted to do, she couldn’t stop him.

Since she couldn’t stop him, she could only give in, and this time, they went on until dawn.

Renee Winslow truly had no strength left, like a fish out of water, gasping weakly.

Jack Yates took a cold shower, hugged her, and kissed her: "Happy Qixi."

Renee Winslow softly replied: "Happy Qixi."

The next morning, as soon as Renee Winslow opened her eyes, she saw Jack Yates standing in the middle of the bedroom, drinking water.

He must have just finished his morning workout in the gym, his face and neck covered in sweat, hair damp, and the bangs he usually brushed back now hung naturally due to the sweat, with water droplets hanging from the tips.

His well-defined fingers gripped a bottle of mineral water as he tilted his head back to drink, his adam’s apple moving up and down.

This strong visual impact early in the morning made Renee Winslow feel thirsty too, urgently wanting to drink water.

She sat up, licking her lips: "I want some too."

Jack Yates drank a mouthful and strode to the bed, cupping her head with one hand and feeding her the water.

Renee Winslow didn’t want to drink water that had touched his mouth, pushing his shoulders with both hands to try and get him off, but he held her tighter.

Jack Yates pulled back, looking deeply at her: "Didn’t you drink it last night?"
