CHAPTER 91: CHAPTER 91: DEFYING JACK YATES

Renee Winslow was utterly terrified, her mind blank with fear.

It was only now that she felt regret, realizing she shouldn’t have been so impulsive.

But at that moment, she was truly furious, so much so that she lost all sense of reason, driven solely by the desire to immediately halt Jack Yates’s vile actions.

It was bad enough that he forced her to use her mouth to serve him, yet he also called Caleb Yates, making sure Caleb could hear everything.

Renee Winslow closed her eyes, bracing herself for Jack Yates’s violence.

However, Jack did not hit her; he merely grabbed her shoulders and flipped her over, making her kneel and lay on the sofa.

Renee struggled to stand, but Jack directly gripped the back of her neck, his voice sharp as a knife: "Stay down."

Renee dared not move anymore; moving was futile. With her gentle strength, she couldn’t possibly free herself from Jack’s grasp.

Jack said no more, his face dark as he continued relentlessly.

With no foreplay, and Renee already highly tense, the sudden penetration made her cry out in pain.

Over the phone, Caleb Yates’s angry shout resonated: "Jack Yates!"

Renee bit her lip tightly, tears silently streaming down her face.

Jack pressed his thumb forcefully against her lips, his voice cold as ice: "Cry out, scream!"

Renee refused to make a sound, stubbornly clenching her teeth and refusing to utter even a single noise.

On the floor, the phone screen still illuminated, the call yet to be disconnected, Caleb’s voice came through loudly: "Uncle, take it out on me if you’re angry, but don’t trouble Renee. She never sought me out; I was the one who found out where she worked and approached her."

Jack picked up the phone, moving rhythmically and breathlessly spoke: "You’re my brother’s only son, and now that he’s dead, how could I bear to take my anger out on my nephew?"

Below the apartment building.

Caleb Yates leaned against the car, gripping his phone tightly in his right hand, listening to the loud slapping sounds coming from it, the hatred nearly spilling from his eyes.

Being a man himself, he naturally knew what those sounds meant and could even imagine the intensity through the rhythm.

The thought of Jack Yates pressing down on Renee, doing what he had only dreamed of, infuriated Caleb to the point where he wished he could stab Jack.

This is the girl he had pursued for a year before finally winning her over. He couldn’t bear to force things; he had patiently pursued her, finally moving her heart. Just as they were about to start dating, Jack had barged in, shamelessly stealing his woman.

Caleb suppressed his anger and spoke: "Uncle, I’m begging you, please let Renee go."

Jack ignored Caleb’s words, instead turning Renee around, embracing her waist with one arm and pressing her forward fiercely.

Renee felt utterly torn apart, her face contorted in pain.

Jack gazed at Renee heavily, but his words were directed at Caleb: "Who are you to her? What status do you have to plead with me?"

Caleb’s fists clenched so tightly that his nails dug into his palms, drawing blood, yet his tone grew weaker: "Uncle, please release Renee."

Jack discarded the phone, wrapping one arm around Renee while gripping her neck with the other, his thumb gently stroking the corner of her tear-drenched eye: "If I ever see you meeting him again, I’ll do this once for every meeting. How far it goes will depend on my physical limits."

Renee spoke weakly: "If you dare, kill me."

Jack held her face, looking deep into her eyes: "If he truly cared about you, he shouldn’t have come to see you."

Reaching such a point, Renee no longer felt afraid, smirking defiantly: "Who I meet or don’t meet is my freedom, none of your business."

This was the first time she had openly declared war on Jack Yates, or perhaps, it was a complete break!

Jack was thoroughly enraged, picking her up and swiftly heading into the bedroom.

Renee once again bore the full brunt of Jack Yates’s overwhelming fury.

At three in the morning, Renee was on the verge of reaching her limit.

At the peak of his desires, Jack gripped her waist, his dark eyes fixed on her, his voice hoarse: "Renee, say you love me, say it!"

Renee broke down, shouting through her tears: "You don’t understand love at all!"

Jack sneered: "Love? Renee Winslow, are you worthy of discussing love with me?"
