My Primordial Demon System
Chapter 47: Mass Murder
CHAPTER 47: MASS MURDER
He started swinging himself from back to front, and then bent over, slashed the chain, and fell down, missing the vat by just a few inches. He slammed into the ground, rolled, and then got to his feet.
"System, what are the special attributes of this sword?" he asked.
[Demonic forged sword: intense sharpness]
"That’s all? Well, whatever," he said, then looked up. His eyes met with the leader’s, and he smirked.
The leader was shaken. He pointed at him. "Kill him!" he roared. All the people there got on their feet and started rushing toward him.
Silva immediately activated his sensing.
"Back down now and no one dies," he said, but they weren’t stopping, so without hesitation, he used his free hand to attack with a claw strike. It tore through the air and right into the chests of three people at once, killing them instantly.
[You have killed three humans, 1500 EXP, 500 demonic energy]
[Level up, 4 free stat points]
He smirked as he saw the message and pushed forward. Someone came from the side and dove at him. Silva kneed him in the jaw, shattering it, before stabbing downward through his back and into his heart.
He pulled out, turned, and slashed down on the next person, cutting them diagonally. Blood splattered in all directions.
[You have killed three humans, 1000 EXP, 300 demonic energy]
His heart raced as more and more rushed his way. Some began using abilities, one sending a flaming fist his way. He blocked it and kicked the man in the chest so hard that it caved in, the shattered ribs puncturing his heart.
Silva’s eyes began glowing purple as he moved. He was like the reaper; with every life he took, the more emotionless he felt in that moment. Blood splattered all over him, staining him.
He took them down until he was at level fifteen. He had committed mass murder, his eyes glowing, his hands stained in blood, but he didn’t feel anything for them. Those that chose death would get it, that was the way the world worked.
Less than half the people were still alive. They looked at Silva in fear, watching as blood dripped down his fist. He stood there like some sort of demon.
"Aghhhhh, I didn’t want it to go this way," he muttered. He looked forward. "Do you guys want to keep going?" he asked, taking a step in their direction. They all stepped back.
"Tsk," he clicked his tongue. "Which of you has a phone?" he asked, but no one answered. He gripped the sword and asked again, "Which of you has a phone?"
One of them ran forward and went on his knees. He held up a phone. "T-this is your phone," he stammered.
Silva grabbed it without hesitation. He pulled the phone out and put a call straight to Elena, not even Riker.
"Hello."
(Silva, I’ve been waiting for your response,) she said.
"Yeah, I got something. Track this phone and come," he said and cut the call, then looked at all of them.
"If you want your lives, then you better stay here. Trust me, don’t try to leave," he said and walked toward the door. He shut it behind him and started walking inside a dimly lit hallway, every step heavy.
"Come out already, I know you’ve been watching," Silva spoke. He already knew where the leader was, but he didn’t want to let him know that.
He walked past a door, the door to the room the leader was in. Then he paused and looked at the wall of the room.
He let out a smile, turned back, opened the door, and walked in like he didn’t know he was there. It was some sort of storeroom with a table where his gauntlet was on a desk, and under the desk was the leader, hiding as best as he could.
Silva put on his gauntlet and carried his cloak.
"That dude that had my phone, how did he have it? Was he trying to steal it? I should have punished him," Silva said. Then he grabbed the table and suddenly threw it to the side, shocking the man.
"You done hiding?" he asked. The man crawled away and got to the wall. "Stay away from me, you demon, stay away!" he yelled.
Silva came closer and bent down near him. He grabbed him by the throat. "I just killed more people than I even thought I would in my life, so I am very much not in the mood. Tell me what I want to know before I shatter your throat," he said.
The man swallowed hard, then spoke. "The cause is above all. Even if you kill me, someone will carry out the jour—"
Snap.
Silva snapped his neck. "You are exhausting," he muttered and got on his feet. Only now did the glow in his eyes vanish. He stood there, looked at the body as if it wasn’t he who killed the man.
He walked out of the room and then started looking for a way out when he heard an explosion from where he left those people. He rushed there, opened the door, only to realize that it was people from Rising Phoenix who had come.
They destroyed the roof and leaked into the building, tackling everyone that was there and arresting them.
One of them spotted Silva and rushed toward him to arrest him. Silva frowned, and when the man arrived, he tried to catch Silva, only to be kicked in the chest and sent flying.
All eyes lingered on him. They started taking out their weapons, but Lady Elena and Andrew came down as well. "Enough, he isn’t one of them," she said and walked toward him.
"Lady Elena."
"Silva Tallon, I’m honestly impressed. I didn’t think you would find something, yet you found one of their bases," she said.
"Yeah, yeah. Inform me about what I asked yesterday when you get them. I’m going home, I need a rest," he said and walked past her, only to feel a palm on his chest.
