CHAPTER 54: I’LL BEAT THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU

He walked up to the Lizardman that had been blasted; it was on the ground, bleeding out with massive holes cut deep into its body.

It wasn’t dead, but it was close, holding on to its life with what little will it had.

"Seems it’s pretty powerful," Silva said. He grabbed the head of the lizard and, in a swift move, broke its neck and killed it.

He walked away from it, heading deeper into the forest. With his new gauntlets, he was for sure going to blast through everything here.

BOOM

A tail slammed into Silva’s gauntlets, and he was blasted back so fast he smashed through several buildings. He kept going until he finally came to a stop.

"Arghhhh," he groaned as he pushed himself out of the rubble. He got up, looked at the gauntlets, and they were fully charged.

He looked ahead, and there were the lizards that had attacked him. They were already rushing in his direction at top speed, ready to rip his head off.

Now how had he found himself in this situation? It was simple. After he left the swampy area, he spotted a ruin, and before he could get there, he sensed a party of awakened, five people, hard-pressed by a group of lizards.

He came in to help, but the moment he intervened, the awakened seemed to vanish, leaving him there alone to face off against five Lizardmen.

"Tsk, this is what I get for helping," he muttered and launched forward. He moved as fast as his feet could carry him and leaped into the air, his eyes locked on the first Lizardman.

He punched with one hand and released a blast. It slammed into the head of the first and sent it to the ground with a bang, cracking its skull badly.

He landed next to it, and another lunged at him. He attacked with two claw strikes. The first slammed into its chest, cutting deep. It managed to use its tail to block the second.

Silva moved to continue, but two were already flanking him from both sides.

"Shit, they move too fast. There is no way of handling this normally," Silva said. He blasted one with the last blast that he had remaining. It slammed into its chest, dug a hole, and sent it flying, but the other three were already close.

"Minotaur’s Rage!" he yelled, and immediately his power doubled. He jumped high, dodging their pincer attack, and then came down with slash after slash, each one cutting deep into the Lizardmen.

Kyahhhhhhhhhh

They screamed in pain. Each one turned and used their tail, targeting exactly the moment he was within range.

Silva wasn’t allowing that attack to work on him, so he used Claw Strike again, hitting the tails of two and knocking them back. Then he faced the last. It swung, and he swung his fist at the same time.

Clang! His arm was knocked back, and so was the tail of the Lizardman. He landed on the ground, and before it could move, he lunged for its guts. His claws dug deep into the skin as he ripped its guts in one move, but he wasn’t done. He grabbed the head and slammed it into the ground hard enough to crack its skull.

He didn’t pause for a moment. He lunged at the next one. It attacked with a tail swing, but he dodged and sent a kick to its side, shattering its ribs, before ending it with a claw strike near the head, cutting into the neck and skull.

The last of the standing three came in and bit down hard. Silva tried to react but wasn’t fast enough. The teeth locked into his arm, and blood splattered.

"Arghhhh!" He gritted his teeth and punched it hard in the face, shattering its jaw and freeing his hand. He then grabbed its head with both hands, his claws deep inside its neck. He pulled with all the strength that he had and threw it over his shoulder, slamming it into the ground. Then he twisted its neck and killed it.

The last one stood watching him. It was the one he had slashed along the chest. Its resentment shined in its eyes. It then lunged forward, rushing madly at him.

"Give it up already," Silva said and dashed forward. He leaped into the air. With a backflip, he landed a powerful axe kick on its head and sent it right to the ground.

Bam

The head was cracked, and it was dead.

With that one dead, he turned to the one that was fighting for its life on the ground with its head cracked.

He killed it and took out the core, as well as the cores of everyone that was there.

"I would love to turn you all into weapons, but I don’t have the energy to waste now," he said, leaving their bodies behind.

He put his sensing on full blast, trying to find that party, only for him to sense them at the edge of the ruin. They were with another party, but instead, they were harassing the other party.

"They have gone off to cause trouble. Did they really think they would get rid of me that easily?"

He started heading in that direction while watching them when, all of a sudden, the man that left the party of five pulled out a chain, and so did his partners immediately, except for the two ladies in the party. They stood by while the others attacked with the chains.

"Those chains... can’t believe those five were from the cult," he said, a grin forming on his face.

"Then I have a very good reason to beat the living shit out of you. Well, if you think about it, the first reason was still good," he muttered, running in that direction.
