CHAPTER 49: CHAPTER 31: WAR

"He will!" Sofia lit a cigarette, watching me disappear down the street, leaving two red streaks of light behind, the motorcycle sinking into darkness.

"No, oh God, he won’t, I swear, swear to God." Amir shouted, witnessing something unbelievable.

"You saw it just now, he will." Sofia shook her head, blowing out smoke rings, not believing Amir’s words.

"I swear, last month we went for a motorcycle cross-country ride, and he almost broke his leg."

"Really?" Sofia confirmed.

"Yes. I was with him all the time, I know. God. When did he learn that?"

The roaring sound drew near, I swerved the motorcycle sideways, drawing a semicircle on the ground, stopping by the roadside.

"Fack!" Amir looked like he had seen a ghost. "Drifting?"

"Is there a problem?"

"Fack!" Amir yelled. "Are you really Kenny?"

"Yes!" I looked at my brother’s expression with satisfaction, shocked silly, right?

"Alright, let’s go, you’re riding, right?"

I nodded.

"Then where are we going?" Amir picked up a bag, slung it over his back.

"Right now, Johnny is taking people to clear their sales network on the streets. After all, territory means business. Attack their manpower, seize the territory, that’s the way for the Johnny Clan to grow." Sofia flicked the ash off her cigarette.

"Then we’ll also head to the beach, find those guys, empty the magazines, for Eddy and Johnson." Amir said happily.

"A wise choice." Sofia smiled with her lips pressed, her gaze fixed on my face, watching my expression.

"No, where’s their warehouse?"

Sofia’s smile froze, "Are you sure you want to go to the warehouse?"

"Kenny, are you crazy? There must be many people in the warehouse, that’s where they keep the cash. It’s just like PINK, with a bunch of gunmen inside, you think we can raid it?"

Amir called out uneasily.

"Yes, I’m sure, where is it? You must have some intel." I stared at Sofia’s face.

"Do you want to die?" Sofia’s expression became serious.

"No, in a street brawl, the battlefield will be long, I don’t have time, for Eddy, for Johnson, I want to end this war."

"Fack, Kenny, you must be crazy."

"Not a bad idea, their warehouse is on the road from Miami to Dade County, there’s an abandoned supermarket, the first floor has been converted to a cold storage and seafood processing plant."

"Seafood processing plant? They’re laundering money at the same time?"

"Uh-huh, the collected large sums of cash are settled as daily wages to the gang members, laundering the dirty money."

Sofia’s words made my eyes light up, "So, the core members from Costa Rica are all there."

"That’s right, their boss. Alfredo Gonzalez is right there. That’s their lair."

"Then I’m going there."

"Fack!" Amir grabbed his hair, "You must be crazy."

"Are you sure?" Sofia looked at me skeptically, "This is a journey to hell."

"I’m sure."

"Since you’re bent on suicide, I won’t stop you, good luck." Sofia tossed the cigarette butt on the ground, my decision something she couldn’t quite accept, it was a stupid move.

"Damn it, you should stop him." Amir said irritably, "Just the two of us?"

"No." I shook my head.

"Really? Then there’s some hope, should I call Duke and Freddie?" Amir said happily, the more people, the stronger the firepower, there’s a chance.

I whistled.

The door of the Dodge opened, a woman dressed in black tight pants, and a tight long-sleeve shirt stepped out.

She wore a belt on her waist, the belt was very wide, looking very sexy.

This tall blonde beauty walked over, Amir thought she was a model.

As she walked, her body showed beautiful curves, with a well-rounded butt, her posture trained, showing off her physical advantages.

"This, is this our personnel?" Amir had his mouth open, thinking I was joking. "Are you taking a babe to a beauty pageant?"

"No, she’s my subordinate."

"Fack!" Amir rubbed his eyes, making sure he wasn’t mistaken, this was a beauty, clearly a model. "You’re kidding me? We’re going to raid their lair."

"Exactly, her."

Once confirmed by me, Sofia had a strange expression, "Is this Howard’s Colombian girl?"

"WHAT? A prostitute?" Amir exclaimed, clutching his forehead, with a pained expression, "God, kill me, you’re taking your subordinate babe to a firefight?"

"What’s the problem?"

"Are you serious?" Amir looked at me skeptically.

"Serious." I nodded affirmatively.

"Crazy! This world is crazy!" Amir picked up his phone in frustration. "I’ll call Duke and Freddie, I don’t want to go nuts with you."

"Do you know what you’re doing?" Sofia said, equally dissatisfied, "This is a war, not a game."

"Uh-huh." I walked behind Amir, opened the backpack, took out his HK416, tossed the gun and magazines to Ella.

Ella loaded up the assault rifle with a magazine, patted the gun, "I’m ready, BOSS!"

I got on the motorcycle, Ella came behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist.

Woo woo woo! The motorcycle started, disappearing from the two’s view.

"Fack! Wait for me! Do the two of them want to die?" Amir shouted in agony.

The war between the Johnny Clan and the Costa Ricans unfolded under the night sky.

Under a residential building in the Upper East Side, a few African Americans and Latinos were talking.

"Stay alert, the Johnny Clan might come to attack us."
