    Rocking back and forth with both of the babies in my arms, I stared out over the city and let out a sigh as I realized how warm it was up here... and yet with each passing day I just kept getting colder as I waited and waited...

    Now that I had had the Demoness beside me for so long not having her just felt... wrong, especially since I was constantly reminded of her whenever I looked down at the lavender bundle of joy she had so graciously ''gifted'' to me.

    Lakshmi was fast asleep like always, her energy spent from running around all day chasing after whoever was willing to play with her - be it me playing tag with her or Ria creating gentle flowers of fire that drifted around just out of reach - until she was hungry, which then landed her in my lap.

    But now they were both fast asleep, the moonlight bathing their small faces and soothing the aches in my heart as I pushed the worries aside and just focused on them, though the fears of having to repeat some of what I had done for Kat were still there...

    Though when I felt a hand on my shoulder I knew I wasn''t alone anymore, that I would never have to run around and hide with my babies... and I was also reminded that I no longer was going to have to search for someone to satiate my urges safely.

    The petite Elf smiling down at me was immensely comforting, and even as she lifted her daughter from me and laid her down in the cradle with a clear purpose I couldn''t help but be so willing to let her pull me onto the bed.

    Having this security and being able to be so taken care of every single night was so worth it, and I couldn''t help but smile at her as we began to make love together to soothe our aching hearts; she needed me the same way I needed her, and until our other part returned we would continue to rely so heavily on one another.
