CHAPTER 1481: CHAPTER 1480: IT’S ’HUMBLE’ BEGINNINGS

Days passed us by rather quickly as we settled into a comfortable rhythm, one where we exhausted ourselves from the morning all the way until dusk, after which we tired ourselves out another way just because we needed it that badly.

Our own house was fully finished - but not yet fully furnished - after the first week we were here, and as soon as we could focus our attention elsewhere I began to realize how ’easy’ this was going to be for us since we just needed to make a plethora of ’shells’ and nothing more.

We weren’t going to be responsible for the furnishing of these other houses since they weren’t actually going to be ours; besides making sure that there were beds and drawers for the first batch of settlers, we didn’t have to do anything else, and that was nice.

Meanwhile the Merchants Hall or whatever Jahi had called it was going up quickly too, waiting to be turned into a lavish residence for many wealthy merchants that would come and sell their wares in our city.

In merely two weeks we went from a single house surrounded by nothing to a small settlement that actually looked rather nice, though the obvious absence of a population did make it feel quite empty...

At the start of the second week Mom told us she was going to be taking Mother and the others back to the Capital to continue whatever work it was the Empress had given her, so the settlement had become even more ’empty’ since it was just the four of us as well as Nirinia and Adelina.

Honestly though that was quite nice for both parties involved since Jahi was now free to do as she pleased while Nirinia could work the long days before heading back into the house they had built to do as she pleased with the Lioness, who seemed to be ’breaking’ down nicely for her.

That prim and proper Noble was still there, but the way she melted at her lover’s touch and how her eyes followed her whenever she saw her was quite telling, especially whenever she was watching Nirinia help build the next structure.

I was right there beside her devouring the glorious sight of Jahi hoisting lumber and hammering away at the wood to create something wonderful, and I even had the additional eye candy of my lithe mate running around to and fro doing whatever else needed to be done.

Jahi tended to opt for a sleeveless shirt that allowed her massive arms to breathe freely, giving me the wonderful meal of her various flexes and the like as she worked diligently and efficiently; meanwhile Anput had a cropped top that showed off her abs while her pants hugged her legs as much as I wanted to hug them, so obviously the eye candy was immaculate.

Even better when they caught me staring and decided to flex or make it clear they were going to need to take a break soon, because the moment they did I was treated the way I wanted to be treated; I never thought I would become intimately acquainted with the exact taste of their sweat, yet here I was able to discern who was who based on that alone...

Anyways, besides building the various houses we also started paving the roads and setting up towering posts that held up the lantern meant to illuminate said roads, starting the infrastructure and ensuring that things were looking even better.

Each day was draining yet so fulfilling because every single morning that we woke up we could look out of that massive window and see the progress we made, and that alone was enough to push us all forwards.

Leone was helping me with the magical side of keeping this city functioning and also searching for her own ways to improve it, like finding a way to keep the lanterns self sufficient and allowing the water to have more nutrients alongside the fertilizer that would go into the soil.

Her alchemy was going rather well from the sounds of it, and I was quite hopeful that she would continue innovating these sorts of things since they helped us quite a bit at the end of the day; as for my own research into the things like the Nature Mana enchantments, my results weren’t as... quick or successful as hers.

What I was trying to do was quite complicated so I needed a lot of practice, but in order to practice I needed a lot of Nature Mana, and to make a lot of Nature Mana I needed to have an abundance of Water and Earth Mana to mix around freely.

Like... quite a lot of what I had inside of me and what Anput had inside of her plus another little bit in order to have equal amounts; that would leave us utterly drained and weak for the day as we replenished our strength naturally, so it wasn’t really an option.

As such I needed to work at a slower pace than I wanted but it at least ensured that I was being more deliberate with what I had because rushing through it or just using it to use it would be a complete waste of not only time but also a valuable resource.

All in all the time we spent was flowing quite smoothly, with the two muscled futanari having enough physical exercise to keep themselves satisfied while also being well fed and nurtured thanks to the efforts of Leone and I.

We still had a few weeks before the arrival of the first batch of people, so I was very much looking forwards to getting even more done and relishing every single last second we had with no one else here since it allowed for some spicy and very thrilling things to happen...

Though whether or not that would stop with their arrival was something that was up for debate as well since it was becoming increasingly obvious that Jahi was somehow deepening her appetite for all of us now that we had nothing else to do, so... who knows what the future holds~!
