Amber moved before anyone could even react and gave a sharp chop on Alena’s head, making her eyes go wide and round before she lost her consciousness.

Only then did everyone react and stare at Leon with a strange look in their eyes. Elodie was the only one who moved quickly to pick up Alena.

"Oii! I didn’t add anything suspicious in my potions," Leon’s lips twitched as he massaged his shoulders. "Do I look like an idiot to pull a stunt like this?"

Others nodded at his words after a brief pause.

"It’s probably a side effect of the Clearwill Potion," Leon said. "It probably lowers the limit of potions you can consume after drinking it."

"This is the reason we wanted to run more tests," Minji said seriously. "There are many effects that even the creator can’t predict, so it’s better to check all of its effects properly. If you agree, then we can launch a beta testing program, but it’ll delay the permit."

While Amber was a little displeased at the delay, Leon just nodded and said, "That’s better. There’s no point in putting out a faulty product in the market."

Leon thanked him and swallowed it quickly. He was actually grateful Amber acted so quickly; otherwise, there might have been a crack in his bones.

She put her ’hand’ on his shoulder and dragged him into the void. Both of them disappeared into thin air, as if they were never even there in the first place.

"At least you noticed something," Wei Xue’s expression turned cold as killing intent surged around her body. "I’ve been quite lenient with the clan matters, but if she really dared to abandon my grand nephew, then even Walker House can’t stop me from showing her the might of the Wei Clan."
