CHAPTER 11: EASY TO SWAY, SEAMUS

Isolde didn’t stop there, her hands brushed against Seamus’s chest, slowly working at his buttons.

But then, she suddenly froze.

Her ears twitched, her expression turning slightly annoyed, like someone had just interrupted her favorite drama.

Still, when she turned to look at him, she smiled.

"What a shame... but we can’t continue. I have a small cockroach to exterminate," she said sweetly, before slowly rising from his body and standing.

"Next time, let’s continue our little mother-and-son bonding activity."

With that, she left the room, heels clicking softly against the polished floor leaving Seamus breathless, sweat still clinging to his skin.

At least now he had a moment to breathe. A moment to think.

Though of course, the system wasn’t going to let him enjoy that peace.

---

[Ding!]

[You gained +500 EXP!]

[Congratulations! You leveled up!]

[Harem +1]

[Note: Due to your current evolution stage, you cannot bond your attributes or Blood Style skills with them yet.]

---

"What? What does that even mean?" Seamus muttered, still overwhelmed by the glowing interface.

"Bond? And what the hell is Sanguine Vein?"

---

The system answered with eerie cheerfulness:

[Bond is a way to share your harem members’ attributes with you. Their stats will be added to yours, but not the other way around!]

[You may also use their Blood Style skills once your evolution reaches the proper threshold.]

[Keep having sex and let them drink your blood to level up faster.]

[While Sanguine Vein is your inner energy source used to activate blood-based skills.]

[Current Available Skill:]

→ Absorption of Lust: Absorb vampire energy via sex and blood exchange.

(Cost: 0 Sanguine Vein)

---

"Sex?! Letting them drink my blood?!" Seamus blinked. "Do you have any idea how insane these women are?!"

They hadn’t exactly tried to kill him yet. The blood-sucking had been painful, yeah, but also mixed with... well, hot sex.

Still, Seamus knew crazy women when he saw them. And even if he kept dodging red flags—like he had with Viviane—it always came back to bite him. Literally.

And now? He was stuck between a vampire stepmother and his psychotic vampire girlfriend. Who were both part of the same bloodline?

"It means... if I want to survive, I have to get stronger, faster, and pray they don’t get bored with me and tear my throat out."

He paused. His eyes narrowed.

He knew the term yandere—thanks to the manga he read when bored. Relationships with them never ended well. You either died or got locked in a basement forever.

"Well... I’m already trapped anyway. And damn, they’re hot."

That was the thing about Seamus. As Isolde had noted, his mind was weirdly easy to sway. Somehow, he always found the bright side in everything.

Maybe it was a survival instinct. Maybe he was just a little twisted himself.

Either way, he stayed with Viviane despite all the red flags. Her possessiveness, the threats, the way she looked at him like a chew toy. And now? He was bonded by blood.

"Alright then," he muttered to himself. "I just need to endure the pain... fight through the horniness... and get strong enough that they can’t control me anymore."

"But, why did Isolde said Im not turning into a vampire? Weird..." he murmured.

Though, he decided to keep it a secret since the system advised him to do so.

Then, the only thing left out was to find his dad.

If what Isolde said was true, Andrew was still alive. But Seamus had only known her for three days and vampires weren’t exactly known for honesty.

She might’ve lied. Or worse, she was saving his father for something.

Either way, Seamus had to move fast. Because of this new twisted world? He was either prey... or predator.

***

Seamus walked through the dim hallway. To his right, a row of tall windows stretched along the wall, but outside was pitch-black even though it was already eight in the morning.

Typical Bork weather. Thick clouds smothered the sky, turning day into an eternal twilight.

The only sounds were the soft thuds of his footsteps and the ticking of an old clock somewhere deeper in the manor.

For such a massive place—lavish, full of golden trims and carved mahogany—it felt... lifeless. Like the air itself had forgotten how to breathe.

Not a single maid or butler in sight. Not like the first time he’d arrived, when the place had buzzed with maids and butler welcomed him.

"Did she really trap me in this mansion forever?" he muttered.

Just the thought sent a shiver crawling up his spine. He was just walking and walking without even finding a way out or even a staircase. The rooms were all the same, a single bedroom, a grand library, or a small office.

He had tried calling his father earlier had even sent a few messages. But the reply he got?

[In the middle of my honeymoon with my new wife, boy! Don’t bug me with your bullshit!]

"...What honeymoon?" Seamus mumbled, frowning. "Isolde was literally just here with me a few hours ago..."

And what was he supposed to say? Hey Dad, your new wife’s a vampire with a twisted mother-son kink?

Yeah, that’d go over real well.

Eventually, Seamus gave up. If his dad wanted to play house with a seductive bloodsucker, that was on him. The guy wouldn’t believe him anyway. Not until fangs were in his neck and maybe not even then.

"Whatever. Let’s just find Viviane..."

Even saying her name made his chest tighten. How was he supposed to face her after everything? After she lied to him, manipulated him, bit him, and trapped him in some kind of blood pact from hell?

Should he pretend nothing happened? Just smile and kiss her like she didn’t drink him dry and moan about being his forever?

He stopped mid-step.

"...Did she ever even love me?"

The thought hit harder than he expected.

His fists clenched at his sides as the doubt wormed deeper. But before it could root, a sound—low, sharp, hissing—cut through the silence.

He turned.

A giant serpent slithered down the corridor behind him, its black-gold scales glistening like wet oil.

It was massive—longer than a car, thicker than his thigh—and it moved with unnatural grace, its tongue flickering as it studied him.

Seamus froze, eyes locked with its own. But instead of fear, a strange awe took hold of him.

"...You’re beautiful," he whispered, his breath fogging against the chill air. "The biggest one I’ve ever seen. What are you, a python?"

The serpent tilted its head, seeming almost... confused.

"And you’re just there. Weird..." He stepped forward cautiously. "Can I touch you?"

He reached out but the serpent twitched and swayed back. Then, without warning, its body began to twist and melt, scales unraveling into black liquid that pooled across the marble floor.

Seamus stared, wide-eyed and motionless, as the fluid rippled and rose.

And then, from the center of that pool, a woman emerged.

Dripping with shadows and soaked in gold, she rose to her full height. Long hair clung to her frame, and her eyes gleamed with the same golden brilliance as the serpent’s.

She looked down at him with a mix of curiosity and exasperation.

"...There’s seriously something wrong with your head," she said flatly.
