Unable to withstand Yang Chen's overwhelming aura any longer, the officer, seeing him getting closer and closer, raised his pistol above his head and fired! Bang!

Just as the shot was fired, the door was suddenly flung open.

A man in black rushed in and, upon seeing the officer aiming his gun at Yang Chen, was instantly fueled with immense anger.

"You're looking for death!" the man in black roared, his foot stomping hard, cracking the floor, and flew towards the officer like a cannonball.

The others hadn't even reacted when the officer was captured by the neck by the man in black, violently twisted!

The officer collapsed to the ground like a pile of mud, lifeless!

Witnessing this, Yang Chen's pupils contracted sharply.

He recognized the newcomer — it was Dongzi!

Yang Chen shook his head, "I'm fine!"

He didn't ask how Dongzi arrived, nor did he need to; once this matter was over, Dongzi would explain it all. Yet even now, Yang Chen could surmise.

It surely was due to Meng Po's distrust that Dongzi was dispatched.

Given Dongzi's nature, he would never move without Yang Chen's orders.

Ye Xin, watching Dongzi and Yang Chen in astonishment, understood though this man wasn't helping without reason, she did not expect him to be Yang Chen's subordinate!
