But who is Timothy Lockwood? He’s friends with Jared; who would dare to endanger him without his say-so here?

"Li..." Before he could mutter the word "idiot," Timothy remembered Melody Thorne’s previous outburst and immediately corrected himself, "Today I’m here to see what unspeakable thing you’ve done to our Big Boss Jared this time."

"Why would I ever do something unspeakable to him?" Melody ground her teeth.

Timothy rolled his eyes at her, implying she should quit pretending. "Everyone knows you. Time and again you’ve either drugged our dear Quinn elder son or tried to seduce him stark naked. You even shouted to the sky, claiming you’d climb into his bed and conquer him!"

Melody "!!!".

"Though your methods have become more sophisticated now, less foolish than before, you still can’t change your nature. Aren’t you living and dying for our Boss Jared?"

Melody "!!!"

Her inner voice screamed, who is living and dying?

"Mel-Mel~" The overbearing young CEO nearby pouted, crossed his arms, looking like he’s grievously hurt and heartbroken.

Clearly, she promised she’d stick with him.

Yet after only two days, she’s ready to stray, such betrayal, my friend.

"Sweetheart, it’s not like that," Melody rushed to his side, enveloped him in a loving hug, and explained, "That was a long time ago, I swear there’s been no betrayal since I said I’d stick with you."

She spoke with utmost sincerity and seriousness.

Ivy looked at her as if she’s an idiot.

"Really?" the little boss raised an eyebrow.

"Really, really," Melody nodded continuously.

Meanwhile, Timothy had already pressed the button to flip through the photos.

"Timothy," Melody shouted urgently, "don’t mess around, I’m telling you, inside there are Jared the Despot’s..."

"Oh, no," seeing a certain man’s face darken, she hurriedly corrected herself, "there’s a real demon inside, and it’s cursed. If you see him and don’t kneel, he’ll definitely come seek vengeance on you, visitations right at midnight!"

Timothy "...truly an idiot!".

Seeing his hand waver, Melody continued to push on, "I took those at a temple; there are all sorts of goblins and monsters!"

My God,

Timothy nearly tossed the camera away, "Melody Thorne, your taste is something else!"

Melody "!!!"

As she watched Timothy throw the camera onto the table, feeling delighted inside.

Ivy grew anxious too, what goblins and monsters? Those are the Boss Quinn’s nudes!

Flip them, flip them open so that Jared would get angry and kick Melody Thorne out of the Quinn Family, and then she’d have her chance!

Just as Melody was rubbing her hands together ready to grab that camera, the dignified man, who hadn’t moved until now, reached out a hand...

And picked up the camera containing the nudes.

Melody "..."

Her temple twitched twice.

On her second day of being reborn, things weren’t going smoothly.

Seeing Jared take the camera, Ivy felt a secret thrill. This was even better than if Timothy had gotten hold of it. To show she wasn’t intentionally revealing it then, she stretched out a large hand and screamed, "Boss Jared, don’t look, that’s something about you..."

Nudes!

She caught herself just in time, but it simultaneously reminded everyone of the content inside.

Hearing it concerned him, Jared’s dark phoenix eyes flashed a dangerous glint, and even his aura dropped sharply.
