"20 attribute points... How do I split it?" Liam muttered to himself.
He didn’t overthink it as he allocated 7 points to his Strength and Stamina, and 6 points to his Agility, immediately using up all 20 attribute points.
As always, after allocating the attribute points, Liam felt that familiar warm energy, as it started from his chest area and flowed throughout out his body like tiny streams.
Maybe because of how strong he has been growing, he felt the warm energy even more noticeable this time.
And almost immediately, the warm energy disappeared. But it had already done its job as Liam noticeably felt that he has grown stronger.
His body now packs even more raw power ands strength. He has grown lighter and he was filled with so much energy that he felt that he could do very taxing works for days without rest.
I still haven’t tested my strength. I should do that in my private gym when I get back to LA. I’m the strongest person in the world but I have no idea by how much
If only there was someone of equal or higher strength he could pit himself against but he doesn’t know of anyone like that. And with how strong he currently is, there’s a high chance that there might not even be someone of equal strength as him on Earth.
"I wonder when the world travel function would be unlocked," Liam thought to himself.
"System, when will the next function be unlocked."
He decided to ask the system this because he remembered that it said that the function that would allow him to travel between worlds will be unlocked after the coming function.
Which the earliest he gets this function unlock, the earlier he will get the between worlds travelling function.
[The next function will be unlocked on the third weekly sign-in]
"Third weekly sign-in... That’s just a few days from now. I’m curious about the function that will be unlocked but I will have to wait till then to find out," Liam said to himself.
Too bad I don’t know the mechanics behind the system leveling up or things would had been much easier for me.
Though that was Liam’s thought, he didn’t focus on it as he turned his focus to other things.
The cells samples he ordered will arrive in within a week but before then, he has to activate the nanites from their dormant state.
According to the information from the omni-science foundation package, the molecular enhancement nanites comes with default programmed instructions, which is to enhance the body of their host.
After that was completed, they will go into a dormant state and can only be activated by connecting to the nanites’ swarm AI. And the only way to do that was by using another AI to pass instructions to it.
So, the next thing Liam needs to do would be to create an AI. And to do that, he will need a laptop. Which means he will get himself a laptop as he doesn’t have one with him right now.
With this thought, Liam immediately opened the system store to see if it has any laptop-like device he can purchase. And it should be cheap too because he doesn’t want to spend all of his money on it alone. He still has the molecular assembler to think about.
The system store opened and he tapped on the search button. He typed in laptop and clicked search, and immediately, an extensive list of laptops appeared.
Liam was quite surprised that he got a positive search result as he didn’t expect to see a laptop in a store that has some very crazy technologies.
He went through the list and he was really impressed by what he saw. The list was naturally filled with laptops. The devices looks like laptops and works like laptops, but their specs are beyond insane.
How so? The lowest model among them start with a minimum memory, storage and computing power of 1 petta.
What does that mean? It means that even the device with the crappiest specs is a borderline supercomputer that he can easily store in his backpack.
He can store nearly the whole of Netflix’s video library, easily build, train and run hundreds to thousands of AGI model AIs at once.
That’s actually beyond just any supercomputer level. That’s almost the same level as a national lab supercomputer... Insane.
Of course this should be natural since they are items in the system store. So, he would be lying if he said that he wasn’t surprised by their specs.
They are also cheap too. 100 SP for the lowest model and 1000 SP for the highest model. What a steal.
Liam didn’t hesitate as he purchased the cheapest model, exchanging $1m for 100 SP immediately and making the purchase.
The device materialised on the nightstand and Liam got up from the bed, and picked it up. He felt its weight and texture of the exterior material.
The device felt cold to the touch and it was very light. So light that it gave him the illusion that he was holding nothing.
The laptop was matte black in colour and it looks like every other laptops out there, with the only difference being its crazy specs.
Liam set the laptop down on his bed and opened it. He saw the keyboard and screen, and he smiled.
"It really looks like a normal laptop," he said, as pressed the power button.
The device’s screen lit up with an unknown logo and name.
Splunge? Is that a tech company outside there? Does it even exist here? Or is this a leak from another world the system pulls from?, Liam thought to himself.
Seeing this made him even more curious about the world outside Earth. But he didn’t dwell on it as he watched the device boot up.
The home screen was displayed and it was bland to say the list. But since that wasn’t what he was after, he looked for the app or program he needs for building the AI.
The device default language was naturally not English but thanks to his [Universal Linguistics] skill, he could easily understand it.
He quickly found the all he was looking for and he clicked on it. The app launched and he immediately got to building the AI.
The AI model he intends to build is an AGI. Since the device is more than powerful enough to allow him build, train and run one, he felt that he should just go all out from the start.
Also, due to the fact that the device has zero point power storage, Liam doesn’t need to worry about it running out of juice. Also, it doesn’t need internet connection as it already comes with its own internet infrastructure.
How’s that possible? Thanks to the omni-science knowledge, he knew how the company did it and how to also do it. It also gave him an extra idea for his ecosystem.
I should also start working on the ecosystem too since I already have something that can allow me to build them easily.
