Despite keeping his eyes on Origin, his figure vanished. The moment he did, a fierce vacuum howled from the spot he left behind. As if furious at being abandoned, the air itself screamed as the divine being moved.

A second later, a deafening thunderclap shook the entire area. Seeing the inhumane manifestation of power, Elian concluded one simple fact.

This is going to freaking hurt.

But then the attack arrived before he could react. A fist drenched in mana slammed into his face—and Elian felt nothing.

CRAP!!!!!

Unable to remain calm, he declared in panic, "STEEL!"

The fibers that made his body suddenly grew taut and came together. A second had yet to pass before Origin's next attack arrived. Like greased lightning, another punch arrived.

BOOOM!

Unlike before, Elian felt his entire being rattle. Like an earthquake entering his jaw, the fierce kinetic energy wreaked havoc inside Elian's face. If what made his head was flesh, it probably would have erupted in a pool of blood from just that one strike.

However, Elian wasn't made of flesh but of something far stronger.

Blood rushed toward Elian's head. Just mere moments ago, he had felt like the strongest being in the universe. Yet, just as fast, Origin reminded him.

You are but a man.

"YOU PSYCHOTIC PIECE OF CRAP!"

Forgetting all his plans, a primal urge consumed Elian. The desire to beat his enemy in a contest of brute strength.

Lacking any tactic, Elian swung his fist towards Origin using the shortest distance. Unfortunately, instead of the feeling of smashing flesh, he only felt the dull thud of hitting a flat surface.

PLICK.

Like a bullet forcefully being stopped by bulletproof glass, Elian's attack was rendered moot. Seeing the vast difference in outcome, a feeling of anger, frustration, and vengeance filled his brain.

"Calm yourself, my love."

Luckily, he wasn't alone.

The sounds of objects racing through the air echoed. Gigantic pillars of ice and white stone pelted Origin by the thousands. Alas, even amidst the fierce assault, not one managed to break through Origin's defenses.

Origin looked up and glared at her.

"Your presence no longer holds any worth. Be gone!"

The rainbow patterns covering Origin's body began to dissolve. In its place, the colors coalesced into the area around his throat. Then Origin's lower jaw began to separate from his upper one.

Ripping his face in two to create a mouth, a ball of energy suddenly appeared inside his maw. While Elian couldn't use mana, he could sense it just fine. And his body screamed at him in alarm.

The energy in Origin's mouth could erase Earth a hundred times over, and he was aiming it at Bianca.

Acting before his mind could think, Elian lunged at Origin and jammed his hand into Origin's mouth. Forgetting his own safety, his focus revolved around preventing the energy from being pointed at his wife.

"W-Wha…"

Dumbfounded at his desperation, Origin tried to bite Elian's hand while simultaneously striking his chest with lightning-fast strikes. But despite his best efforts, Elian only turned to Origin and smiled.

"You finally opened up on your own, you bastard. NOW!"

From Elian's hand burst forth thousands of metallic strands. Like hairs that were sharp enough to cut steel, instruments designed specifically to invade and cut apart were born. Without stopping, Elian pumped liters of his metals into Origin's mouth.

He didn't know why the divine being suddenly decided to give himself a mouth, but the fact that he did meant he must have turned off the shield; otherwise, Origin's attack would have been negated by it as well.

Sensing each strand of metal, Elian continued to have his pets invade Origin's body. The razor-sharp hair worms made sure to cut apart everything they came across, but they failed to find anything despite fully mapping out his opponent's entire body.

"WHAT THE HELL? You're made of pure mana? You are empty! How do you even exist?"

Confused and alarmed, Elian quickly understood why his alternate realities always defaulted to spearing Origin through the chest with a physical spear.

Nothing else would work. They adapted that fighting style not by chance, but because it was the only thing that worked on the divine being.

"GET OFF ME!"

Unfazed by Elian's attempt to tear him apart from within, Origin simply battered Elian's chest with his free fist. Each blow had the power to smash a mountain. And although Elian's frame endured each blow, his body had already begun to protest.

[Warning: Your HP has been reduced by more than 10%! Please release the stacks as soon as possible, or Juggernaut's internal defenses will be compromised.]

"Tsk. Stubborn bastard…" he complained under his breath.

"ELIAN, GET AWAY!" Seeing Bianca take position from afar, Elian cut off all the worms connecting him to Origin's insides. The moment he did, a bright light flashed. As if a sun had been born, an immense heat radiated toward him.

Bianca's declaration was a death sentence to most opponents, resounding: "FRALHAME LANCE MODE: X HOWLING!"

KRZZZZZ—THOOM!

Over a hundred Fralhame sniper rifles fired at once. If at Dusk tier Bianca still needed Flame Swallows to create the energy for her attack, now she could do so using only her mana.

The surge of super hot plasma blasted Origin with inhumane accuracy. But much like Elian's attacks, it failed to connect. It was like a flamethrower trying to set fire to ice.

Elian and Bianca's combined assault would have killed lesser beings a hundred times over. But against Origin, they might as well have been slaps on the wrist.

"CEASE THIS FOOLISHNESS! YOU CANNOT KILL ME! ONLY THE TYRANT OF END CAN!"

Most people would have despaired at this point. After all, how could one fight against the creator of the multiverse? It was much like trying to go against a surging river with a paper boat.

The option to get the legacy of the Tyrant of the End remains.

However, neither Elian nor Bianca wanted to use it.

Why?

Because doing so would spit on the chance Magnolia Dawson and this entire universe paid to give. They had to do this without using the Tyrant of the End or not at all.

Vanishing Origin's body teleported from in front of Elian to in front of Bianca. He drew back his fist for another devastating punch.

"NOOO!!"

Elian's blood turned cold. He was nearly indestructible, and Origin's simple punches almost killed him. What would happen to Bianca, who was never built to withstand damage?

"Fufu. You worry too much, my love…"

But against all expectations, Bianca's teasing voice resonated from inside his brain. He could sense her mischief, confidence, and affection.

Milliseconds before Origin's punch landed, the Villainess's lips pursed.

"Dimensional Rift."

A white-colored portal opened before Origin and swallowed him whole. Instantly, he appeared in front of Elian, dumbfounded. It was a journey of more than a hundred kilometers.

Both Origin and Elian quickly understood what Bianca's new Twilight Job was.

"A Dimension Walker..."

"YOU! WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT POWER! THAT WAS MEANT ONLY FOR MY SISTER!"

Yes.

It was truly difficult to fight against someone like Origin.

It would have been too much for normal people.

But not for Elian Reed and Bianca Valestra.

As the final legacies of Dr. Magnolia Dawson, they were given every advantage possible, all for this single battle. What one could not do alone, together was in reach.

"ELIAN!"

"YEAH! ROTARY CANNONS FULL SALVO!"

The thunderous echo of thousands of guns resounded. Each bullet they fired was a unique blend of elements specifically meant to kill Origin. And like trying to find a speck of dust in the desert, Elian aimed to find the right one.

"HUH?!"

A hailstorm of metal flew toward the divine being from every possible direction.

Each round that connected exploded. Like a scene from hell, fire and smoke engulfed Origin, yet the rounds didn't stop. Bullet after bullet came and smashed against his defenses.

"YOU CRAVEN BASTARDS! HOW DARE YOU SULLY MY SISTER'S MEMORY! I WILL KILL YOU BOTH!"

Launching himself up high, Origin suddenly rushed toward Bianca. Although she was surprised, the Villainess bit her lip and raised her left hand behind her back.

"Dimensional Rift!"

A portal appeared behind her, which she spun into. Like a dancer in a ballet, Bianca elegantly avoided Origin with a pirouette.

"COME BACK HERE, YOU BITCH!"

Origin's body turned red as if to show his anger. Completely ignoring Elian, he ran after Bianca like a deranged animal.

"CRAP! BIANCA!"

Elian, worried out of his mind, wanted to run toward her. Yet her voice shared her thoughts on the matter.

"My love, be still. Find the slayer-metal. I will keep him busy. This is why I was chosen. Do not worry, I will not fail. Not until I make love to you and bear your children."

Hearing her lewd thoughts, the Weapon couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all.

Here he was in the middle of who knows where in a battle for the fate of the universe. And his wife was playing tag with a divine being while having erotic dreams about their future.

Trying to keep Origin at bay was a nearly impossible task. Yet Elian knew why Bianca continued to make vulgar jokes at the expense of her image.

She knew he would worry.

So, he decided to believe in the woman who stood by his side against the impossible.

"Sigh, what a lewd woman. The fate of the world is at stake, and all you can think of is ravaging me?"

"Fufu. What can I say? I'm a simple yet sinful."

"Haha, be sure to bring me flowers and chocolates; I won't give you what you want otherwise."

"Tsk. How absurd! Like you're some bastion of moral virtue!"

Although separated by hundreds of kilometers, including a psychotic divine being hell-bent on murdering them, the husband and wife continued to tease each other.

Elian could picture Bianca's face as she stuck out her tongue in mischief. Yet, as much as she tried to hide her emotions, her desperation bled into her voice.

The Weapon wanted to tell her it was going to be okay, but he stopped himself.

Instead, he made a simple vow.

"Bianca, we're going to win."

To which his partner replied arrogantly.

"Was there any doubt?"

"HAHAHAHA, I guess not."
