CHAPTER 446: YOU WILL BE MY GOLEM!

Titania hovered above the crater like an empress on her throne, her arms crossed, her expression still laden with wounded pride.

"How dare you..." she began, her tone dripping with disbelief. "How dare you mock my royalty, trample on my sacred domain, disrespect the ancient magical order... and on top of that, challenge me without batting an eyelid?!"

Vergil cracked his neck once more, still wearing a cynical smirk on his lips.

"That’s easy: because it’s fun."

Titania clenched her fists. Her red aura glowed more intensely, and the tiny sparks around her began to swirl like a storm of angry fireflies.

"You... you really are insolent! What kind of mortal would even think of acting like this in front of the Fairy Queen?!"

She approached in a swift flight, stopping a few inches from Vergil’s nose. Her eyes glowed like enchanted embers.

"What is your name, insolent creature?"

Vergil smiled. It was as if he had been waiting for that very question.

He lifted his chin, pushed his coat off his shoulder, and replied with exaggerated nobility:

"Vergil."

Titania narrowed her eyes, waiting for more.

Vergil blinked slowly. Then, with almost arrogant theatricality, he added:

"Vergil Lucifer."

For a moment, the forest fell silent, as if even the leaves had held their breath.

Titania’s wings stopped flapping for a moment, and the little fairy descended a few inches, as if pulled down by the gravity of the revelation.

"Lucifer?" she repeated, almost in a whisper. Her face was a mixture of surprise, caution... and a touch of genuine fear. "Like... like in...?"

"Exactly that." Vergil shrugged. "The first of the fallen. Morning star. Owner of an ego bigger than this entire forest."

Titania looked at Zuri, then back at Vergil. Her tone changed subtly. Fury gave way to curiosity—and the instinct for survival.

"You’re saying you’re..."

"Grandson." He pointed to himself with his thumb. "Vergil Lucifer. Pleased to meet you."

Titania spun around in the air, flying in small circles, nervous. The red light around her flashed intermittently, as if the spell was oscillating with the whirlwind of emotions.

"Grandson of that son of a bitch Lucifer? That... that changes everything!"

Vergil raised an eyebrow, the provocative smile still hanging on his lips.

"Does it really?" he said, scratching the back of his neck as if it were all just bar talk. "Because you’re still floating there with that look on your face like you’re going to stick a magic lightning bolt in my kidney."

For a second, Titania froze in midair. Then her expression changed.

From a mixture of surprise and caution... to pure hatred.

Her eyes widened with silent fury that grew like a contained fire about to explode. The red aura that had previously vibrated chaotically condensed, darkening. The glow around her body was no longer sparkling—now it was incandescent, furious, like magma on the verge of overflowing.

She growled. A sound too deep to come from such a small being.

"You..." her voice trembled "...are the grandson of that... BASTARD?!"

Vergil narrowed his eyes, the provocative tone slowly disappearing.

"Okay... this got personal really fast."

Zuri immediately grabbed his collar, whispering, "Vergil... maybe it’s time to stop talking."

But it was too late.

Titania exploded.

"THAT DAMNED DAMNED DAMNED!" she screamed, the timbre of her voice now oscillating between high-pitched and guttural, as if a thousand echoes of rage were echoing behind her. "LUCIFER! That miserable demon who dared to break the Ancient Covenants! That arrogant worm who deceived me, who used me, who IMPRISONED me in this ROTTEN plane as punishment!"

The forest responded to her fury. Branches twisted. Leaves withered. The sky above darkened slightly, as if the natural world recoiled in fear.

Titania was no longer just a nervous little fairy—now she was a storm compressed into a tiny body.

She floated until she was face to face with Vergil, trembling, her eyes filled with fury pent up for ages.

"You’re going to be MY GOBLIN now, you little shitworm. Grandson of the BIG SON OF A BITCH who destroyed my court, imprisoned my power, and made me reign over a rotten piece of forest in the ass of hell!"

Vergil took a step back, one of the few moments when his expression actually became serious.

"Ah... so you two have history."

"History?! I WAS QUEEN THE STRONGEST QUEEN OF THE FAIRIES, DAMN IT!" Titania yelled, her wings now creating whirlwinds in the air around her. "And he... that bastard... that FALLEN HEAVENLY SCUM... betrayed me, chained me with a millennia-long contract, and abandoned me in this magical hole while he played King of Hell!"

Vergil crossed his arms, trying to regain his mocking tone—but there was a new tension in his eyes.

"Look... I don’t know what my grandfather did, but I wasn’t even born yet. Literally."

Titania spat on the ground—a small spark fell with a crackle and burned the moss.

"I don’t care. His blood runs through your veins. And I’m going to make sure that blood pays the debt."

Zuri whispered, now truly concerned: "Vergil, she’s serious. The kind of serious that involves rituals, magical imprisonment, and centuries of slavery."

"Wonderful." Vergil replied, already raising his hands slowly, palms open. "Okay. Let’s take it easy. Maybe we can talk. You yell at me for another twenty minutes, I feign remorse, we have some poisoned tea... that kind of political stuff."

But Titania was already conjuring another magic circle, larger than the previous one. The symbols in the air around her didn’t just glow red—now they had shades of purple, gold, and black, indicative of forbidden ancient magic.

"You will be my weapon, my servant, my new golem! And with you, I will tear down the gates of hell and rub your grandfather’s horns into the ground! BOW DOWN OR BE BROKEN, VERGIL LUCIFER!"

The wind roared. The forest groaned. Zuri recoiled against his shoulder, tense.

Vergil took a deep breath, then whispered to himself:

"Why is there always a damn psychotic queen in my way?"

He flexed his fingers, and his own aura began to grow, shadows and fire slowly gathering behind him, as if something ancient was also awakening in his lineage.

"All right then, Your Smallness..." he said, his eyes now burning deep red. "Let’s see if you can break a Lucifer."

It was at that moment... that Titania realized... Perhaps... she wasn’t dealing with a cocky child who liked to mock his elders...

But rather... A demon with little patience and a lot of energy to deal with her.
