CHAPTER 1363: CHAPTER 451 DEVIL: TOUGH SITUATION, ATTACK TOGETHER_4
"A few Familiars of the Lord of Gluttony have died, and he’ll gain a few territories. You are not the first, nor will you be the last. I see you have potential with your self-evolution abilities. Have you ever thought of striking out on your own?" Enguima asked with enthusiasm.
This could be seen as sowing discord or taken as genuine advice. If possible, Enguima wanted to avoid conflict with the Lord of Gluttony at this critical juncture.
The Hell Gate plan failed, and he couldn’t gain strength by plundering the Mortal World’s territory and faith. To fulfill the Great Demon King’s lifelong dream, he has been keeping a low profile recently.
Being low-profile is to wait for an opportunity.
Fortunately, he has caught a once in a millennium opportunity.
Hell has been plagued with bad luck lately, and it’s unclear what ominous forces they have encountered as one Demon King after another goes on a rampage. Especially Gluttony and Wrath, they are fighting fiercely with no holding back. It seems they are determined to annihilate each other.
The Seven Demon Lords will soon have a vacancy, possibly one or two positions.
The dream is within reach. Enguima didn’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance.
Seeing Wayne remain silent, he continued, "Being a dog for the Lord of Gluttony only leads to a bad end. As a Devil, freedom is the most important thing. Without freedom, the brilliance of your achievements belongs to your master and not yourself. You should understand this principle."
"Makes sense, but the Lord of Gluttony is too strong. If I don’t deal with you, he will deal with me. After much consideration, I can only wrong you."
"Arrogant!"
Enguima snorted coldly. Being a Demon King’s child meant he wasn’t destined to be too smart. He had just been a bit too clever, and it was time to revert to his rash temperament.
The Blood Monarch waved a large hand, and Familiars charged at Wayne in a gust.
He summoned Blood Magic to entice Wayne’s blood to rampage, but it failed. He then engaged in a simple and straightforward melee combat.
Wayne waved his hand to form a Dark Scimitar and leisurely maneuvered through the encirclement, each swing of the scimitar sending heads flying high.
Headless corpses fell into the sea of blood, causing a furious ocean storm. Before long, the Familiars were resurrected and returned to the encirclement.
Wayne let out a small "hmm". Without the authority of Hell Territory, a foreigner couldn’t possibly get a Hell residency, guessing this was one of the uses of authority.
While Wayne was surprised, Enguima was puzzled, unable to figure out where the Lord of Gluttony found such a powerful Demigod. Judging by the situation, only if he exerted himself fully could he defeat him.
Furthermore, being so strong, why serve others when being a leader is so enjoyable?
Seeing that the Familiars were useless, Enguima roared in anger and stepped onto the field himself, simultaneously calling for two allies.
They had pledged to advance and retreat together. This was no time for watching the show.
Boom!!
The Dark Scimitar collided with the Sword of Blood, and the surging waves rolled out.
The wild wind crushed the raging ocean calm, furrowed the high blood clouds in the sky, created visible shockwaves, and swept the surrounding Familiars far away.
With just one exchange, Enguima realized he was facing an unprecedentedly formidable opponent and needed to use heavy fists.
His expression turned fierce, his face covered with fine scales, baring all his fangs: "I understand; you serve Gluttony because he promised equality, and you want to be the Great Demon King!"
No, I just want to go home and repair the Archangel.
With a crisp crack, the Dark Scimitar in Wayne’s hand broke, its quality too poor to contend with the weapon in Enguima’s hand.
"Newcomer, if you want to be the Great Demon King, to join the Seven Deadly Sins, you must surpass me first!"
An endless sea of blood surged, the bloody aura filled the vast sea, and the boiling blood churned turbulently.
Enguima’s aura soared momentarily, leveraging the territory’s authority to reach an exaggerated and shocking level.
The terror of his strength exceeded any strong opponent Wayne had faced before.
The power of authority made him extra envious, pondering how to get himself a Hell residency. The figure of a Demon Bat suddenly leaped into his mind, realizing that nearly two years earlier, he had already settled in Hell.
There’s no sinister foreigner, only an honest local!
The Sword of Blood slashed down, the terrifying pressure stirring spatial turbulence, directly influencing Wayne’s perception, preventing him from pinpointing Enguima’s location.
As the danger came, a black light appeared in Wayne’s hand, meeting it with the Abyssal Sword.
Clang!!
The metallic clang resonated loudly.
Sheer brute force whipped up terrifying tidal waves, piercing a massive hole in the upper blood clouds, the cloud vapor spreading swiftly in all directions while the lower blood sea rapidly sunk, the shock extending to its edges as tsunamis wreaked havoc.
Two figures clashed intensely in the sky, gradually changing from balanced exchanges to Wayne suppressing Enguima.
Having just leveled up, having some misconceptions about his power, he used Enguima as a reference, came out of his misunderstanding, and realized that now he was truly strong.
Enguima roared repeatedly, fighting more and more frighteningly, knowing that while his dream was about to be realized, someone else achieved it, his murderous intent soared to his heart, retreated as he fought, reaching the edges of the two allies’ territory.
Stop watching, this one’s tricky, let’s go together!
Two figures leaped into the sky, displaying an imposing aura no weaker than Enguima’s, one black, one purple, both Devils Wayne was familiar with.
Night Monarch, Setoras!
Abyssal Spider Queen, Martia!
The two highly ranked Demon Kings looked solemn, surprised that Enguima was on the back foot in the duel, even more amazed that Gluttony had such a powerful Familiar.
"Why are you two just coming now?" Enguima asked angrily.
"Observation."
"Ambush."
The two Devils turned the tables, blaming Enguima for lacking patience, causing the tactic to fail before execution.
For a Devil, not a word could be trusted. Enguima snorted coldly without saying more, pointed the Longsword at Wayne: "Let’s take him together. If he doesn’t die today, there will be another Seven Deadly Sins above us in the future, and none of us will rise to become masters!"
Setoras said nothing, expressionless, lost in thought.
Martia also said nothing, looked at the robust Wayne, pursed her purple lip gloss, wanting to test his capabilities. If he had special talents, she might recommend him to her master, the Lord of Lust.
Stop wasting time with that Bat and take a look at the outside world with Devils having seven or eight legs.
"Damn it, say something, you two!"
"Enguima, it’s chaotic outside right now, Devils should value peace and harmony."
"That’s right, you’re Greed’s child. Gluttony is at war with Wrath, and he doesn’t dare touch you recklessly. Concede some territory to avert disaster, that’s the mark of a mature Devil’s strategy."
"..."
Whose side are you guys on?
