Chapter 1648: Chapter 522: Such a Strong Man (Part 4)
The Sun Chariot had a coachman and a mount, which were Weaver and Aroman. However, Wayne’s abilities were too uncanny, and to prevent the two Subsidiary Gods from becoming liabilities, Galle did not summon them into battle.
Furthermore, as agreed before the fight, it was a one-on-one duel, accepting defeat with grace if one were to lose.
Once the Sun Chariot started, it wouldn’t stop, streaking through the skies above the sea of fire like lightning, tearing through space, dragging black lines and strangling the rising white froth steam into ash.
Galle could clearly perceive that these vapors were highly active. If they were not eliminated completely, Wayne could resurrect at any moment.
In the blink of an eye, all steam was burned to ash, leaving only the last wisp lingering in the air.
The Golden Chariot stopped moving, and Galle raised the long spear, its tip gathering intense heat waves, pointing at this wisp of steam: “This is your only physical body left. Once erased, your thoughts have nowhere to attach. Surrender, you’ve lost.”
“My physical body is not important…”
Under Galle’s surprised gaze, the steam disintegrated on its own, turning into a mass of decaying black mud.
From all directions, the ashes, void of all life, gathered with the tornado hurricane. As the wind curtain dissipated, Wayne walked out completely unharmed.
He smirked slightly: “Quite some knowledge, very enthusiastic, just like you, Goddess.”
Galle narrowed her eyes slightly, ignoring the false greeting ahead, and swept the Golden War Spear to strike behind her. She didn’t know when Wayne had stepped onto the Golden Chariot; facing the sweeping spear, he drew out the longsword from Galle’s back to block.
The clash of spear and sword sparked, and a pinpoint of golden light expanded infinitely, as a blazing shockwave radiated from the Golden Chariot to all sides.
Galle held the spear with one hand, not commanding her longsword to stay away from Wayne, while wielding the shield in her other hand to strike, entering into a wrestling state with Wayne once again.
At this moment, she transformed into a Sun Elf, all attributes amplified and strengthened, her speed and strength skyrocketing, making her melee capabilities even more formidable than before.
Pressed by Wayne to the edge of the Golden Chariot, her waist against the railing, which was also the weapon rack of the Sacred Arsenal, her upper body leaned back slowly, pressed down by Wayne’s arm strength with no resistance.
Wayne was almost entirely on top of Galle, his eyes burning with intense red heat, two beams of hot vision shooting straight into the Sun Elf’s eyes.
Galle, not to be outdone, emitted golden light beams from her eyes.
Gold and red clashed, starting a collision on the level of fire elements.
In the Sun God Nation, Wayne’s reserves of fire elements within his body were far less than Galle’s. Aware of his weakness, he did not fight a prolonged battle, pouring out an astonishing amount of energy in a massive burst, his thick beams of hot vision pressing down the golden light, closing in on Galle’s eyes.
Galle’s flow wasn’t bad, only because she chose the wrong opponent for the wave, leading to her suppression with no choice.
The Sun Battle Armor on her body shone brightly, and on the shield’s surface, the golden lion’s head roared, the manifested wings of the lion flapping as it flew out, trying to topple Wayne over.
It didn’t succeed.
Wayne was as steady as an old dog, his legs rooted as if they were planted in the Sun Chariot, the lion only protruding its head, unable to showcase its might before it was forcibly stuffed back into the shield.
The opposing force was too great; it couldn’t even exit the gates.
“Showy tricks, my Goddess. Unexpectedly, from above, your form is so weak.” Wayne’s eyes surged with red light, and as he spoke, the hot vision surged once again.
Galle gritted her teeth, holding on as the red light approached her eyes. The terrifying heat filled her with shock. Unwilling to let her eyes become charred vents, she used the authority of the Divine Nation to manipulate space, taking the Golden Chariot to teleport away.
Boom!!!
The hot vision poured into the sea of fire below, a magma tsunami rising in waves.
Wayne slightly raised his head, the two beams slicing through the Red Sea, tearing open the distant golden curtain of light.
Not far away, Weaver was dumbfounded, his large and rough body paired with an open-mouthed expression, his bewildered eyes filled with clarity unsullied by wisdom.
Aroman beside him was about the same, dazed, her small mouth forming an O shape, pure and tantalizingly beautiful.
As long as you weren’t blind, it was clear the Sun Goddess was being suppressed, unable to gain the upper hand at any point, and not even bringing the entire Divine Nation could reverse the decline.
“Aroman, wasn’t Wayne supposed to assist the Goddess?”
“Seems like it…”
The two Subsidiary Gods were full of question marks, and a suspicion vaguely arose in their hearts: this battle concerned the future ruler of the Sun God Nation; whoever won would be the Sun God.
“Hissssss———”x2
Wayne closed his eyes to dissipate the heat, slowly turning to look at Galle standing on the Sun Chariot: “That’s how it should be. Don’t feel that using authority gives you an advantage over me. I’m not as weak as you think, and you’re not as strong as you imagine. Me suffering some loss would only be fair to you.”
“Shut up!”
Galle charged on the Golden Chariot, for once she had done it twice. Breaking through her psychological barriers, she no longer persisted in making Wayne yield willingly, only aiming to beat him until he kneeled.
As long as she knocked him down, she could do whatever she wanted, however she wanted!
In a flash of residual light, at the moment the Sun Chariot activated, Galle lost track of Wayne’s thoughts, shocked to sense malice behind her. Without thinking, she turned and swept the Golden War Spear.
Wayne ducked and seized the opportunity, his longsword against her shield, and with Galle’s midriff open, he elbowed into her chest and stomach, and at the moment she bent over, his head smashed forward.
Duang~~~
It sounded like a good hit.
Wayne’s head caved in on one side, instantly healing. Galle, as if drunk, was dizzy, her head heavy and feet light, as Wayne successively snatched her spear and shield and then kicked her in the chest, sending her flying out of the Golden Chariot.
In mid-air, Galle shook her spinning head, her vision not yet focused, and her thoughts detected the approaching shadow of Wayne, raising her five fingers to summon the Golden Chariot’s arrival.
Boom!!
Wayne accelerated in mid-air, crashing into Galle before the Golden Chariot could arrive, pressing one hand against her breastplate and the other against her beautiful Sun Elf face, falling together into the sea of red magma.
As magma touched his body, it was slightly licked by the Book of Greed, collapsing on a material level, turning into primordial fire elemental energy.
Hundreds of red lines poured into Wayne’s body, and he unleashed energy freely, pressing down on Galle toward the core of the sea of magma.
Simultaneously, his terrifying thoughts turned into a heavy hammer, striking hard on Galle’s head, smashing open her tightly closed heart’s door, overflowing with malicious outputs of mockery: “My Goddess, what are you waiting for, escape quickly! With just a thought, you can return to the Holy Temple and separate the third layer, sealing me forever at the Peak of Bravery. Believe in yourself, you can easily do it.”
Impossible!
Galle roared in anger, golden light surging from her eyes, raising both hands to embrace Wayne’s shoulders, forcefully pressing his head against her chest.
Wayne:)`₃눈)
So hard, should’ve known not to act like a gentleman.
Thinking this, the Sun Battle Armor in front of his face vanished, enveloped by total darkness, losing his five senses, losing his perception of the outside world.
Simultaneously, all the Divine Artifacts of the Sacred Arsenal circled in the sky, one after another, sacred and towering virtual images appeared, some drawing swords, some holding spears, some bending bows, some holding staffs, some wielding shields, some donning armor, some driving chariots…
A pair of golden eyes surged with waves of thought, all looking down at the red sea below.
Razor-sharp beams swept down, like shooting stars, quick as lightning.
Above the Garden of Strength on the second layer, golden beams pierced through the firmament, striking the land with world-ending might.
Once again penetrating, striking straight into the first layer’s Blazing Canyon.
Rumble————
The entire Sun God Nation shook violently under this attack.
At the outer edge of the Divine Nation, two dazzling figures stood in speechless wonder.
Idinis sighed faintly: “Coordinates invalid, Galle doesn’t allow us in. We’re late, my husband can’t get out.”
“At a time like this, you still speak sarcastically!” Aztemo said, not in a good mood.
“Then what? Anyway, Galle can’t win, what’s the harm in having fun with my husband.”
Idinis squinted: “I wonder where Shi Luke is, if she’s also in the Sun God Nation…”
“Not good, my husband is going to get played!”
