Naruto: Eating A Devil Fruit In The World Of Shinobi
Chapter 114 114: Reunion.
Ayanami Kaito's second method of training had triggered mutations in his body, transforming his cells into the physique of the Senju clan. The third stage pushed his body even further, awakening an ancient bloodline — granting him the Sage body.
It could be said that natural energy acted as the key that unlocked the two bloodline shackles within Kaito's body. After mastering Sage Mode, he had unexpectedly awakened his Sage Body as well. His purpose for coming here was finally fulfilled.
"Slug Sage, I plan to leave today," Kaito said, a trace of reluctance flashing through his eyes. After all, he had spent three years here, and even the bleak Shikkotsu Forest had begun to feel familiar.
"Go. It seems you've found your opportunity. There's nothing left for you to learn here now," the Slug Sage's voice echoed solemnly through the slug perched on his shoulder.
Kaito recognized this as the original consciousness of the Slug Sage speaking. He immediately bowed with respect.
"In that case, Ayanami Kaito will take his leave. If Shikkotsu Forest ever faces danger, please call on me — I'll help if I can."
The Slug Sage seemed satisfied with his response and offered a final piece of advice.
"Your Sage body has only just awakened. Remember to hone it well. It holds the secret of Yang Release, a vital part of the Yin-Yang Release."
"I understand. I'll focus on developing it properly," Kaito nodded solemnly.
Afterward, he let the slug use reverse summoning to send him home.
Looking at the familiar house and the spotless floors, a gentle smile appeared on Kaito's face. It was undoubtedly the handiwork of Hinata and Ino.
Glancing outside, he saw the sun setting beyond the horizon. The sky was painted in warm shades of dusk. Kaito stepped into the kitchen, intending to prepare a hearty meal for himself, Hinata, and Ino.
By the time he had laid all the dishes out on the table, darkness had already fallen.
A sweep of his electromagnetic sense revealed Hinata and Ino, Two familiar chakra signatures approaching.

On the Roadside
"Hinata, when do you think Kaito will be back?" Ino, now grown into a strikingly beautiful young woman, sighed with impatience.
"Soon. I heard from Tsunade-sama that Kaito was training in Sage Mode at Shikkotsu Forest. He should be home now that he's completed it," Hinata replied softly, a trace of longing and worry in her eyes.
"Hmph! Three years without a single message. When he gets back, you and I should ignore him for a day or two — let him bake in the sun as punishment," Ino huffed.
"Alright, I'll go along with whatever you decide. Let's hurry though. We still have to tidy up the house before he returns," Hinata smiled gently, stealing a glance at the twilight sky.
"So what if it's late? You could just stay over, it's not like you haven't before. Besides, he's not back yet anyway," Ino teased.
The two girls continued their conversation, arriving at Kaito's house moments later. Spotting the lights from inside, their eyes sparkled with excitement and relief. They exchanged glances, pushed open the gate, and ran inside.

Reunion
Snap!
The door opened, and Kaito stood before them, a warm smile on his face.
The girls halted in front of him, their eyes filled with joy and emotion.
Kaito's gaze softened as he gently stroked their silky hair, breathing in their familiar scent while silently observing how much they'd changed over three years.
Their figures had matured beautifully, their features radiant and refined — worthy of being called goddesses in Konoha.
"Not bad. Not bad at all," Kaito chuckled to himself.
Feeling the intensity of his gaze, both girls blushed, lowering their heads shyly.
"Have you stared enough?" Ino grumbled, cheeks flushed.
Kaito grinned, unashamed.
"Well, it's been three years. Of course I want to take a good look at my two wives. You've both grown even more beautiful. It's true what they say — girls only get more stunning with time."
"How could I ever get tired of looking at you? Honestly, I think I'll be admiring you for the rest of my life."
"You… you shameless idiot," Ino huffed, though her eyes curved happily, pulling Hinata into the house.
Once seated, the two girls picked at their food delicately. Kaito's eyes caught the diamond-shaped marks on their foreheads and he raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"You both mastered the Strength of a Hundred Seal?"
"Took you long enough to notice," Ino pouted.
"Well, I was too busy looking at you. Haven't had time to check your foreheads," Kaito replied without missing a beat.
"Hmph," Ino snorted but smiled shyly, lowering her gaze as she continued eating. Hinata laughed quietly, covering her mouth, occasionally adding food to both their plates. The atmosphere warmed into a gentle, familial harmony.

After the Meal
"Kaito, Tsunade-sama said you went to Shikkotsu Forest for Sage training. Did you succeed?" Ino asked, clearing the table.
"Of course. I wouldn't have come back otherwise," Kaito smiled.
"My dad said anyone who masters Sage Mode steps onto a whole different level from ordinary shinobi. What does that mean?" Ino pressed, curious as ever.
"Well, let's put it this way. After mastering Sage Mode, all three types of ninjutsu get an insane boost. Your strength basically transforms completely."
"Really? Did your power double?" Ino asked again.
"More or less," Kaito nodded.
His current strength had indeed skyrocketed — from peak Kage-level to peak Super Kage-level. While it might seem like a small step in title, the power difference between those ranks was colossal.
A Super Kage could easily overwhelm multiple ordinary Kage, and someone at Kaito's current level could put the likes of Orochimaru in their place instantly.
In fact, if he had to compare his strength now, it would be with legends like the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, and Uchiha Madara.
