Kakashi, meanwhile, hurried to report to Tsunade.

Natsuki sighed helplessly.

"Fine, I'll demonstrate a little."

Natsuki explained,

If the cutting power of a future Air Disc Slash was even greater, it would be terrifying.

Natsuki demonstrated while Gaara copied.

In no time, Gaara formed the seals, then opened his mouth wide—spitting out a massive wind sphere the size of a millstone.

"Fūton: Renkūdan!"

The wind sphere ripped through the forest, obliterating a wide swath of trees.

Naruto and Fū were stunned.

"A-Amazing!"

Natsuki shook his head.

"You're not stable yet. The power is still lacking. You'll need to practice more."

Gaara nodded.

"I feel the same. My control isn't there yet. But this jutsu really is strong—if I can master it, its destructive power won't be far behind the Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Bomb)."

The Bijūdama—equivalent to a nuclear bomb, unmatched in destructive might.

The Renkūdan, developed by Shukaku itself, was designed to compensate for its lack of chakra, allowing it to attack with terrifying force without using a Bijūdama. No wonder it could be compared.

Naruto and Fū, however, were both numb.

That was already insanely destructive... and they thought it wasn't enough? Did they really want to level the entire forest with one shot?

Natsuki clapped his hands.

"That's it. I've said what I could, shown what I could. The rest is up to you. Oh, and Naruto, since you're kind of slow, Kakashi-senpai will probably arrange some special training for you. Fū, Gaara—don't get jealous."

"Hey, I'm not that slow... am I?"

Naruto muttered without much conviction. Deep down, he knew it was true. With Kakashi's training regimen, at least things would be easier.

Gaara spoke up.

"I've already thought it through. For body and taijutsu training, I actually have a teacher back in Suna—Zila. He created the Seven-Day Breathing Method. I learned a lot from him. As for the Air Disc Slash, I'll attempt to create it. For Renkūdan... well, the forests of Konoha may suffer."

Natsuki waved it off.

"Konoha has plenty of trees. Just wreck them."

Just then, a buzzing sound filled the air. A giant insect descended from the sky, with Shino leaping off its back.

"Natsuki, I came as soon as I got your note."

Shino greeted them, then turned to Fū.

"Hello. I'm Aburame Shino. I heard you're the Jinchūriki of the Nanabi. Natsuki's note said the Nanabi is a giant insect, so I came to help."

Fū's eyes lit up. She waved enthusiastically.

"Hi, hi! I'm Fū! Let's be friends!"

This girl was always so cheerful.

Perhaps even Shino wished he could be like that. After all, in Boruto, he ended up becoming a much more outgoing academy teacher.

At that moment, the giant insect circled around Fū. Shino recognized its behavior immediately.

"So it's true. The Nanabi really is a great insect—likely the strongest in existence. Even my summoning beast shows signs of wanting to submit. Interesting... very interesting."

Shino actually smiled. Encountering the ultimate insect seemed to genuinely please him.

He and Fū quickly moved aside to talk about bugs. As for how Fū could grow stronger—Natsuki himself had no real ideas. She didn't seem to have any talents beyond relying on the Nanabi's power. Hopefully Shino could help.

Just then, Kakashi returned—not alone. Beside him was a man wearing a face-guard forehead protector.

It was Yamato.

Clearly Tsunade had anticipated the danger of the Kyūbi going berserk, so she had assigned Yamato here.

Kakashi beckoned Naruto over.

"Naruto, Tsunade-sama approved your training plan. But for safety, this man will be assisting you. His name is Yamato. He's a reliable senpai."

Yamato quickly bowed modestly.

"Kakashi-senpai is the truly reliable one. But since he asked me, I'll do my best."

Naruto hurriedly greeted him.

"Nice to meet you, Yamato-senpai!"

Kakashi added,

"And this is Natsuki. You should know of him."

"Of course. The famous 'Magic Blade of Konoha'—I've long wanted to meet you. Please take care of me." Yamato offered his hand politely.

"Likewise, Yamato-senpai." Natsuki clasped it.

"No need to call me senpai. Just call me Yamato."

"Uh... alright then."

Natsuki was used to calling older shinobi "senpai," but given his current position, it wasn't strictly necessary anymore. Showing respect where due was enough.

From there, training officially began.

Naruto's first step was to imagine the cutting power of wind chakra—splitting a leaf in two.

To maximize efficiency, he'd need to use Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique).

With his ability to create hundreds, even thousands of clones, his training speed would be multiplied many times over.
