"Rin, Kotomine Kirei and the King of Heroes have allied. According to the intel I found, they plan to turn against your father."

In the Matou residence, Zenkichi spoke seriously to Tohsaka Rin.

"Are you kidding me? That's impossible!" Rin's eyes widened with disbelief.

"Kotomine Kirei is my father's disciple, and the King of Heroes is his summoned Servant. Why would they betray him?"

"You're free to believe what you want. I've said what needs to be said." Zenkichi's expression remained calm, offering no further explanation.

Rin bit her lip. As unbelievable as it sounded, she couldn't afford to ignore the possibility. If it turned out to be true, it would be disastrous.

She quickly called her mother, Tohsaka Aoi, and relayed the information.

Tohsaka Aoi was stunned. "The Hero King and Kotomine Kirei… plotting against him?"

"Where did you hear this?" asked Tohsaka Tokiomi, his expression turning grim.

"Rin told me the man named Zenkichi was the one who said it," Aoi responded.

"Hmph." Tokiomi scoffed, visibly relaxing. "If it came from him, it's not credible. Kotomine Kirei and the King of Heroes are my most trusted allies. Zenkichi is just trying to sow discord."

He dismissed it confidently, sure of his own cleverness. But Zenkichi had anticipated that reaction.

Given Tokiomi's position, trusting Zenkichi without proof was impossible.

However, not long after, Tokiomi began preparing to deal with Zenkichi—only to be ambushed by the very allies he trusted.

Just before the betrayal unfolded, Zenkichi summoned Tohsaka Rin and Tohsaka Sakura, his expression grim.

"Kotomine Kirei and the King of Heroes are about to strike. Looks like Tokiomi didn't believe my warning."

Rin's face turned pale. "You're serious?"

"I wouldn't joke about something like this. Do you want to see for yourself?" Zenkichi asked.

Rin hesitated for only a second before nodding.

Zenkichi led the Tohsaka sisters to the location—just in time to witness Kotomine Kirei standing triumphantly beside Tokiomi's lifeless body.

"Dad!" Rin screamed, fury burning in her eyes as she stared at Kirei and the Hero King.

"Rin?" Kirei raised a brow at her sudden appearance, but showed no emotional reaction.

"You've arrived at the perfect moment," the King of Heroes said, eyes locking onto Zenkichi. His excitement was palpable. "I let you live once before—this time, I'll take your life!"

Without hesitation, he summoned his weapon—the Heaven and Earth Sword. The surge of magical energy it released shook the entire villa.

"Rin, Sakura, get back!" Zenkichi commanded, releasing a massive wave of spiritual pressure that shielded the girls.

"Time to see if your sword can really split the world," Zenkichi said coldly, drawing his Zanpakutō. In a flash, his blade clashed against the King of Heroes' sword, unleashing a blinding torrent of light.

Though legendary, the Heaven and Earth Sword wasn't invincible—and Zenkichi's strength held its own.

The King of Heroes staggered, eyes wide with disbelief. "Impossible…"

"Nothing is impossible," Zenkichi replied flatly. In a flash, he appeared behind the Hero King, plunging his Zanpakutō through his back.

As his body began to dissolve into motes of light, the Hero King growled, "Too careless…"

"Carelessness? No. You were simply outmatched." Zenkichi's voice was ice cold.

He turned toward Kotomine Kirei. "Your turn. Any last words?"

Kirei remained eerily calm. "None. I've already tasted true pleasure."

When he had killed Tokiomi, it had given him exactly what he'd always longed for—true satisfaction in destruction.

"You sick bastard…" Rin growled, trembling with rage.

"Rin, I'm sorry. Everything I did was to experience that pleasure," Kirei said with an empty smile.

"Here." Zenkichi handed his Zanpakutō to Rin.

"Huh? Why?"

"You want to kill him, right?" Zenkichi asked.

Rin clenched the weapon, her hands shaking. Her anger boiled over, and she stepped forward.

A twisted glint passed through Kirei's eyes. He prepared to strike Rin down—hoping to witness her death and savor the emotional anguish it would cause.

But before he could move, a sharp laser from Zenkichi pierced his knees, dropping him to the ground.

Kirei knelt in front of Rin, chest exposed.

Without hesitation, she drove the Zanpakutō through his heart.

"Trying to harm my goddaughter? You really are trash," Zenkichi muttered, glaring down at the dying man.

He turned toward Sakura, who was silently crying, and gently patted her head. Then he helped Rin up from where she had collapsed to her knees.

"Your father may be gone… but I'm still your godfather. Don't worry—I'll protect you and your mother," he said with a soft smile, patting his chest.

Both girls blushed slightly.

News of Tokiomi's death quickly reached Tohsaka Aoi and Matou Kariya.

While Aoi wept in sorrow, Kariya erupted in manic laughter.

"Ha! Tokiomi, you fool! Killed by your own disciple and Servant… What a joke of a Magus!"

Blood poured from his mouth mid-laughter—his damaged body finally giving out.

He collapsed, lifeless.
