Amid the roar of the crowd, the battle between the two Genin continued.

Izumi Uchiha gathered her strength, preparing to use her clan's signature taijutsu, the Uchiha Fluid Body Technique, to finish Shino Aburame in a single blow.

It was a devastating shoulder charge that utilized the user's entire body weight and momentum. If it connected, it would leave the target either dead or critically injured.

Just as Izumi appeared at his side, a smirk spread across Shino Aburame's face. "You've fallen right into my trap."

"Secret Technique: Insect Swamp!"

As he spoke, the ground beneath Izumi's feet suddenly churned, transforming into a dense, living swarm of kikaichū. The insects surged upward, enveloping her entire body, lifting her into the air, and then instantly compressing into a tight, black sphere.

"Our clan has a weakness," Shino explained calmly. "Our physical abilities are not our strong suit. This technique was developed by my ancestors specifically to counter those who excel in taijutsu."

"I knew you would try to attack me with a close-range physical technique, so I set an ambush at my feet. You… have lost."

Shino's powerful performance stunned the Jonin watching from the stands.

Hatake Kakashi was puzzled. "I remember this technique can only be used by Jonin-level members of the Aburame clan. Has Shino really become so strong?"

Might Guy nodded. "The talent of a genius is truly a terrifying thing."

"This is likely beyond the realm of genius," Asuma Sarutobi added. "From what I understand, using this technique requires incredible insect control and a massive reserve of kikaichū. For a boy Shino's age, it should be impossible! Kurenai, you've been hiding a real prodigy from us. To have trained a student to a Jonin's level is impressive."

Kurenai Yuhi herself looked completely shocked. "This is the first I'm seeing of this. I had no idea Shino could use such a technique."

Kakashi lifted his headband, revealing his three-tomoe Sharingan. "The jar on Shino's back is filled with kikaichū. That must be how he is able to use the Insect Swamp."

"Hm? That's strange. The chakra of the insects in that jar… it seems familiar. It's almost like his father's."

Might Guy laughed. "Good boy, Shino! He came prepared!"

Kurenai frowned. "No! If Kakashi's Sharingan can see the kikaichū, then Izumi Uchiha must have been able to as well. She wouldn't have walked into the trap so willingly. Could it be that…?"

Down in the arena, the black sphere of insects suddenly dissipated into a buzzing cloud. Inside, where Izumi should have been, there was nothing.

"Hahahaha! That Uchiha girl was eaten by the bugs until not even a scrap was left!"

"The Uchiha clan is nothing special after all!"

Laughter and ridicule echoed from the stands. But Shino showed no signs of victory. He slowly turned his head, his gaze fixed on a large tree at the corner of the field. With a wave of his hand, he directed his entire swarm toward it.

"Don't hide. I know you're there. My insects can sense your chakra."

"But you have surprised me. To use a Substitution and a Shadow Clone the very instant you entered the Insect Swamp… your speed is impressive. A pity… it's not enough!"

"Parasitic Insect Jutsu: Eclipse!"

A massive number of kikaichū flowed like water to the base of the tree, swarming over its roots and tearing it from the ground, revealing Izumi hiding in the earth below. Without giving her a moment to react, Shino continued his assault.

"Insect Tornado!"

The insects converged, forming a swirling vortex that completely buried Izumi. These three consecutive moves were all extremely powerful secret techniques, ones that could normally only be used by the most senior members of the Aburame clan. The officials and shinobi in the audience were all speechless.

Especially those who knew Shino personally.

"You've… you've got to be kidding me! What's going on with Shino? How… why is he suddenly so powerful?"

"This is outrageous!"
