But awakening was not so simple. Under normal circumstances, it was extremely difficult, something that went without saying. It was by no means an easy feat. In Koshiki's view, Shibai's success was virtually impossible. But even so, Shibai wanted to hold on. Although Shibai had once successfully become a god, at this moment, he hadn't accumulated enough. Awakening was impossible.

"Finally got rid of one. This should be easier now," Naruto said with a smile on his face.

Sasuke, however, didn't think so. Defeating Shibai had no real impact on Koshiki himself. Sasuke looked at Koshiki. He didn't seem particularly sad after Shibai's defeat; his reaction was rather normal.

"I think I've figured out what your dojutsu is."

Suddenly, Koshiki looked up at Sasuke. "Your speed became so fast just now because you accelerated your own time, didn't you?"

Hearing this, Naruto frowned. So that's it? No wonder Sasuke's speed was so astonishing.

"It seems the reason you didn't immediately save your comrade was because you wanted to observe my dojutsu."

Koshiki smiled. "Of course. If I didn't understand your dojutsu, I would be at a disadvantage. I have no desire to test your power with my own body."

He cracked his neck. "Alright, I have a general grasp of your abilities now. Let's begin."

This time, despite facing two opponents, Koshiki took the initiative. His first target was Naruto.

When Naruto saw Koshiki charging at him, he tried to move and dodge, but he found his body wouldn't budge. By the time Koshiki was almost upon him, Naruto found he could move again.

But it was too late. Koshiki's fist slammed into Naruto's stomach, sending him flying.

In the next second, however, Sasuke appeared at his side, delivering an ultra-fast light-speed kick aimed squarely at Koshiki's head. Yet, in that instant, despite Sasuke's time acceleration and the immense power of his light-speed kick, he too found his body unable to move.

What kind of dojutsu is this? Why am I suddenly unable to move? Did Koshiki use his ocular power to restrict my movements? Impossible. Even if Koshiki had such power, I shouldn't be suppressed to the point of being completely immobilized. That's impossible. If that were the case, it would be a real problem. It would mean Koshiki completely outclasses me. And in that situation, this fight would be pointless. It would be a one-sided slaughter.

While Sasuke was immobilized, Koshiki strangely retreated. The moment he was out of Sasuke's attack range, Sasuke's body could move again. He then raised his hand, and countless black rods appeared around Koshiki's body, raining down like a sudden storm.

Koshiki's brow twitched. "This is Isshiki's dojutsu. You possess Isshiki's dojutsu!" He had seen the Daikokuten dojutsu before, and seeing Sasuke use it now left him astonished.

Effortlessly dodging the black rods, Koshiki looked at Sasuke with ease. "I don't know how you obtained Isshiki's dojutsu, but this kind of attack can't hit me—"

As he was speaking, Naruto suddenly appeared behind him with a Rasengan, having switched places with one of the black rods. The Rasengan smashed towards Koshiki's back.

"You talk too much!" Naruto shouted. The Rasengan was about to hit, but in that instant, Naruto's movement stopped again. At the same time, a black rod pierced through his arm. His sudden stop prevented him from dodging Sasuke's black rod as he had intended.

The rod went through Naruto's arm, and the Rasengan dissipated from the impact. But for Naruto, this minor injury was nothing. He would heal quickly.

In that moment, Sasuke noticed something. The instant Naruto was injured, a bloody gash also appeared on Koshiki's shoulder.

Seeing this, Sasuke was stunned, and then an idea came to him. Let's test it one more time!

Sasuke and Naruto switched places. Naruto was immobilized, but Sasuke was free. The moment he appeared, Koshiki was startled and then froze Sasuke's body as well. Correspondingly, Naruto was freed. At the same time, several black rods pierced Sasuke's back.

Koshiki's face turned pale. He then immediately released his control over Sasuke and rapidly dodged backward.

After landing, Sasuke looked up. "I think I know your ability now… Koshiki Otsutsuki!"

Hearing Sasuke's words, Koshiki's eyes looked as if they could bleed.

"You bastard, your observational skills are incredibly sharp!"

Sasuke smiled. "You flatter me. But it was fortunate. If it weren't for Naruto's accidental injury and you giving up a perfect opportunity to attack earlier, I wouldn't have figured out your dojutsu so quickly."

"It's likely a type of imitation or a dojutsu that freezes your enemy. But its side effect is that while you use it, you and your enemy are linked. If they are injured or die, you will suffer the same damage!"

Koshiki was shocked that Sasuke had seen through his dojutsu so easily. But even if he knew, what could he do? As long as he activated this dojutsu at the moment of a fatal attack, he could at least take one of them down with him. That's why Koshiki had always been so confident. He never had to worry about being killed. Even against a powerful opponent, he could at least achieve mutual destruction.

"Now that you know, what can you do? If you want to die with me, then by all means, try."

Sasuke frowned. This dojutsu was indeed tricky. And it seemed even his Deity Gates might not be able to escape its effects. Defeating Koshiki would not be easy.

"Sasuke! What is he talking about?"

Sasuke looked at Naruto. "It means that to defeat him, we have to gouge out his eyes first. Only then can we ensure that when we kill him, we won't be killed along with him."
