A day later, Kazuo woke up, opening his eyes, he quickly looked around and saw that he was inside of a small cell and tied up to a stone chair, his chakra system was completely unresponsive and sealed.

'The Torture and Interrogation unit in konoha? I expected as much however still… It doesn't feel great to be here.' Kazuo thought as he kept surveying the room looking for any points of escape however he could only find the door before him.

The room was completely sealed with no other paths besides that door and with him being bound and having his chakra sealed, there really wasn't much that he could do in this scenario.

'Damn… is resetting really the only way forwards?' Kazuo thought annoyed as he waited, there were many ways one could kill himself even if he was tied and bound however he had to wait.

'Well… my only real way at this point is bitting my own tongue off, thankfully they havn't gagged me or I'd be in a pretty bad place.' Kazuo thought inwardly.

At this moment, with the sound of stone grating on stone, the door before him slide open.

'A sealing mechanism? Interesting.' Kazuo thought as he looked at the man heading inside, it was a young man with a bald head however what was interesting about him were the countless scars all over his face and top of his head.

'He's much younger but this is definitely. Ibiki Morino.' Kazuo thought silently as his eyes tracked the man's movements.

"Kazuo Hyuga, you have been detained for attacking a member of the Yamanaka Clan, Yamanaka Inoichi whilst at the same time you are under suspicion of being a traitor who colluded in the nine tails attack. Do you have anything to say for yourself before we continue?" Ibiki asked, his voice clipped as he stared at Kazuo.

"I'm Innocent. I have no idea what happened, I was simply meditating when I was suddenly knocked out. I have no Idea what is happening!" Kazuo spoke as he quickly shook his head, his voice shaking in fear.

At this moment on the other side of the stone walls, three people were watching the ongoing events.

Minato Namikaze, Jiraya and even Orochimaru.

"What do you think Sensei?" Minato asked as he looked through the stone wall. It was a wall made of sealing jutsu that allowed them to see and hear what was happening inside whilst not allowed the one inside to see or hear them.

"He's lying or atleast he isn't telling the complete truth. Orochimaru studied what happened to Inoichi and his mind was completely destroyed."

"Tha's right, something like that couldn't happen from a simple backlash or protective unconcuouss use of some dojutsu. It was a directed attack toward his mind." Orochimaru spoke, his voice seemed almost slimy as if a snake was speaking human language rather than a human itself.

"I see… then we can say for sure that he has been compromised or has already been compromised for a long time now." Minato replied as his brows scrunched further as he looked at his student.

"That should be the case. Similarly during the night of the nine tails he was left drained completely of chakra and even used a lot of military pills, however considering what he had done, he shouldn't have spent that much chakra, the only viable possibility is that he was using shadow clones and attacking somewhere else at the same time. Now if we go by process of elimination, who would Kazuo Hyuga have a grudge against?" Orochimaru asked as his expression turned into a slimy smirk.

"Danzo. The root has attacked him multiple times in the past." Minato and Jiraya both spoke at the same time.

"That's right and just so conveniently, the entire root base was completely exploded and Danzo was killed. Now what are Kazuo's most famous attacks? Explosion tag bombardments. It completley matches." Orochimaru replied with a chuckle.

"I see… so its safe to say that he was the one who did that. However we can't actually know for sure considering we can't read his mind, if even the Patriarch of the Yamanaka clan was turned into a vegetable then there is no other way but physical torture." Minato replied as he release a soft sigh, his eyes that had until now been cold as ice shattered just slightly as a faint sadness showed in them.

"You knew from the start that this was a possibility Minato, Sarutobi did warn you." Jiraya said as he shook his head whilst looking at the tied up young man on the other side of the sealing wall.

"Let me talk to him, he might confess if i show everything we already know, or atleast he will show some kind of reaction that might be helpful in judging." Minato said as he walked towards the side where another door leading to the inside of the sealed chamber was.

Making a quick handsign he door quickly slid open and Minato walked inside.

Kazuo who had remained silent until now lifted his head once more, his eyes that had been shaking in fear turned towards him hopefully.

"Sensei! Please, you have to believe me." Kazuo spoke, his voice fraught with fear and hope at the same time as he looked at the yellow flash.

"Kazuo… we already know." Minato replied with a sigh as he shook his head and sat down on the chair before Kazuo.

"What? What do you mean you already know Sensei! It wasn't me. I did nothing please believe me!" Kazuo spoke quickly.

"Danzo, that was you. Similarly Inoichi was attacked, that wasn't a defense mechanism, it was a Yin release Jutsu. Confess… it'll make this easier on both of us." Minato said his voice losing all of its emotions.

For a moment Kazuo stood silent, his eyes still shaking before he completely froze and his scared expression transformed into a deadpan in the span of a single second.

"Ah… I see." He replied with an almost bored voice.
