CHAPTER 75: BREAKTHROUGH II

Zou had been in the process of breakthrough for over 5 hours, and during that time his team had fought off the wild monsters, particularly the Snow Wolves that always came in numbers.

"How long is he going to use to f*ing breakthrough. I am at my limit at the moment and I don’t think I can face another wave of attack." Matteo said, as he used a flaming whip to cleave a wolf that wanted to ambush him in half.

"Forget about the boss. You have to fully concentrate; there is no time for you to be whining." Faye said, as she cut another wolf in half.

Her speed was something else, and after the leader she was the most powerful member of the group.

"Bladed Dance." Faye yelled, as aura energy coated her body and her movement increased by almost double of what it used to be.

Singing, stabbing, cutting. Faye’s sword enjoyed a dance of taking out the pack of wolves that came on to attack their group.

She was a perfect counter to the wolf pack that came in numbers because anywhere her sword faced. Heads, limbs, body parts were either cut or stabbed.

"Wow Faye. You are really good. Just like that you have taken out a pack of the Snow Wolves.

You are really amazing." Mia praised. There had been restlessness in their surrounding ever since Zou decided to breakthrough.

Planting her sword into the ground. Faye looked at the battlefield. There were corpse upon corpse. Their group had been exploring the dungeon for over a day. Yet the only monsters they ever faced were the Snow Wolves.

At first the wolves were overwhelming their group with numbers. But after a while they got used to the attack patterns of the wolves and started to counter the wolves appropriately.

"Are we ever even going to find the boss monster of this dungeon? "Amiyah asked. She was already getting irritated by the dungeon.

Unlike Tim and his undead. Zou’s guild members had enchanted items that could protect them from the blistering cold that was present in the dungeon.

Although the item worked well, it did not mean that they could not feel the frost bite that was eating at their very own body.

Faye looked at Amiyah with a concerned look. It seems like she does not know what the boss wants.

"We will face the boss monster once we are done with our primary goal of coming into this dungeon." Faye said, as she started to clean the blood off her sword once more.

"What do you mean by primary goal? Wasn’t the goal top get into a dungeon and become rich as possible?" Amiyah asked. Directing the questions to the remaining group members.

They all looked at Amiyah with a confused look on their face. Amiyah was a very strong battle mage, but she was super naïve at times.

"Don’t you know that the reason why we entered into this dungeon was to completely dispatch the people that we robbed within the last 48 hours.

Amiyah’s eyes widened when she heard the explanation. "Do you mean the elf kid and his follower?"

"Yes. They are the one that we need to dispatch. For what it is worth, there might be additional gold hanging around them.

Did you forget the number of coins that we found in the pouch that was seized from them?" Mia, the gentle one of the group spoke.

Amiyah’s eyes widened when her question was answered. She had also noticed the elf following them at a point, but she did not even imagine much that the elf was rich.

Amiyah busted into an uncontrollable laughter. This was what she liked. Taking advantage of the weak. it was even part of the reasons why she agreed to join Zou’s guild.

Just so that she would be able to exercise her will and strength on the weak.

Nobody in their group was righteous in their own way. They each had their own evil intentions for joining the guild and it was not something that was hidden.

Faye sighed once more, as she saw the way Amiyah was laughing. She really wanted out from the group.

After another 8 hours. The intensity of the Zou’s aura increased by another fold. It seemed as though Zou was aura himself the way the energy of the aura covered his entire body.

Also, the density of the aura that was circulating around his body increased also which made look more formidable. This lasted for about 30 minutes before the thickened aura energy was sucked up all into Zou’s meridian.

POOOM!

A powerful wind explosion occurred as Zou opened his eyes. He was an early 2 Star Sage now, and he was brimming with fresh energy and power.

"Hahaha. I have finally broken through to the 2 Star of the sage art. I feel so strong." Zou said, loudly as he stood up to his feet and he started to stretch.

"Congratulations guild leader. It was not easy but you successfully broke through." Faye said.

"Yeah Congratulations."

"We have to hold a very expensive feast when we get back to the town to celebrate the achievement that you achieved." Matteo said with a very happy smile.

"Yeah, boss congratulations. With this level up then we should be able to take care of the elf and his follower as easy as eating pie. In fact, you alone are sufficient to put an end to their lives.

Did they think that we would not notice them following us to the dungeon." Kylee said, he was an assassin type Sage, so he was always ware of his immediate surrounding.

He had previously felt the elf’s presence before they entered the dungeon, and he was overly sure that the elf and his followers followed them to the dungeon.

"So, they did follow us. Maybe the elf has a deadly weapon that can carry out massive destruction. That can only be the reason why the elf would follow us to this red zone dungeon." Mia added.

"It does not matter if that elf has something under his sleeves or not. I am going to crush him into smithereens." Zou replied, with a devilish grin on his face.
