"We are under attack! Shield Dome!" Mateo shouted, as he conjured a shield barrier right in front of their camp.

Amiyah, the most powerful mage of Zou’s guild, not even waiting for Mateo’s spell to finish manifesting, casted her own shield spell obviously the spell that she casted was more powerful than the spell that Mateo casted.

That was just the sad reality of things. The higher the star level, the stronger the spell gets.

Now in front of their camp was 2 shield barrier that was stacked as a form of protection against then massive attack that was coming towards them.

Explosions, rang one after the other, as the Mystic Lions rained down attacks on the Dawn Keepers guild .

"What sort of specie is this. A fire breathing Lion? This is just crazy. Well, it does not matter. I will crush them, and sell their skill core for an hefty sum." Zou said, as he stood up and grabbed his massive sword.

This was going to be his first battle after breaking through to the next Star rank. He liked the challenge that the lions were giving him and he was going to respond appropriately.

"Samil, we need your help over here. Why don’t you hurry up and assist us with this shield barrier.

Anakin. Please do us a massive favor by boosting our strengths by the maximum possible threshold." Amiyah said, as she could feel her very own spell being on the verge of destruction.

Samil, upon hearing the instruction, joined the mages of the guild in their shield spell, while Anakin casted his buff spell.

All the team members that were 100 meters within Anakin’s vicinity, received a massive boost to their stamina, mana and aura.

"Yes yes. This is it., this is battle. Nice buff Anakin. * Zou said, as he turned his head towards Faye. * Let us go and dispatch those gold mines, I mean monsters." Zou chuckled.

Faye at this point face palmed herself. ’Why does he have to be carefree in situations like this. Can’t he see the, massive fireballs that are coming his way.

It was only Amiyah and Faye that saw the severity of the condition that was happening. They were being spammed by massive fireballs and yet Zou was seeing it has an interesting source of battle.

Zou and Faye passed the back of the tenth and accelerated towards an indirect angle to the Mystic Lions. The lions were currently spamming their fire skill, towards the camp and the only way to stop them was to intercept their attack.

Upon getting closer to the Mystic Lions. Zou’s eyes widened. "They are really huge! This is so perfect. I get to use my beautiful sword to cut off their heads one by one." Zou said, as he neared them.

Faye on the other hand, had another thought in mind. ’Why are the monsters coordinated. It is very uncommon of them to attack in such a coordinated manner.

Even, should they be able to consistently fire massive flame skills concurrently?’

A lot of things rang in Faye’s head as a red flag in this battle, but she could only result to following her boss’s orders.

After Zou reached about 5 meters towards the nearest Mystic Lions, he swung his massive sword towards it, like an hammer that was about to strike a nail.

SWOOSH CLANG!

His swing was intercepted by the sharp claws of the lion. It was a surprising thing for Zou actually.

The force of their clash pushed the lion back by 8 feet while Zou was pushed back by a feet.

Faye’s eyes widened when she saw what happened. The lion had instinctively reacted to Zou’s attack that should have been a one strike skill.

Zou who was the closest to the lion, was also shocked a little. He saw in a slow motion the way the lion changed its attacking pattern and switched its focus to Zou.

"Hahaha. This is so interesting. ,So it seems like you pack a decent punch. That is fine. I was not serious actually." Zou said, with a loud grin on his face.

Suddenly 3 other lions stopped sending fireballs and faced Zou and Faye.

Bells began to ring in Faye’s head when it happened. ’Monsters should not be this coordinated’ was the thought that was ringing in her mind steadily.

"Listen Faye, do not use much of your killer moves. Save your energy and stamina. You do not know what might happen next. "Zou said, as he dashed towards the lions once more.

Faye followed suite and accelerated towards one of the lions.

2 of the lions accelerated, and met head on with their clash, while the other 2 lions took advantage of the distraction and casted a fireball towards Zou and Faye.

BOOM!

The fireballs struck Zou and Faye respectively, but they were not veterans in battle for no reason. They cancelled out the powerful flame strike with their sword techniques respectively.

Drunk on the thrill of the battle, Zou increased the speed of his attacks. CLANG CLANG PUICHH

Zou overwhelmed his opponent with force leaving no space for the lion to attack back. The lion that he was facing already had deep wounds from Zou’s assault.

Faye on the other hand was at a stalemate. It was an intentional stalemate because she wanted to gauge the nature and strength of the lion.

Suddenly 3 metallic and study tails accelerated towards Zou. But the attack was seen by Zou far earlier.

With a clever movement from his sword, he redirected all the simultaneous attack to the left, and with his right hand. He channeled aura into it and released a devastating skill.

"Heavy Style: Aura Surge!" Zou yelled, as a thin slice of aura was released from Zou’s swinging hand. Just like that, the thin aura passed through the two lions that were directly in front of him.

SWISH!

It was like hot knife through butter. Just like that. 2 of the 12 Mystic Lions sent were dead.
