CHAPTER 85: CHESS MATCH V

Like a true predator which he was. In all the chaos of destructions and spells that was happening in the battlefield. Bo had his eyes set on one thing.

His target Amiyah. he was not like the other undead summons. He was unique because he was granted the evolution capability which in turn put him in a higher level of hierarchy than the other undead summons.

He was also far stronger and far more calculative than when Tim first met him. all this was attributed to one thing. It was the fact that Bo crossed path with Tim.

Now Tim had given him a mission to take out a threat to him, and that mission was what had been in Bo’s mind since the start of the battle.

BOOM BOOM BOOM

The spells of the mages in the Dawn Keepers Guild cancelled out most of the attacks that they were facing, but it did not cancel; all.

Amiyah at this point was exhausted, even with the boosts that she was getting from Mia and Anakin at intervals, things were not still going well for her.

The mere fact that she was actively manipulating 2 high class spells to protect and at the same time try to damage the enemy, out a lot of strain on her.

Her task was even further burdened by the fact that her vision was sort of obstructed due to the number of other spells that was being casted by her teammates, but she knew that there were no excuses in battle.

Immediately Bo’s eyes turned blue, he sent mental instructions to Ottis, who had been casting spells to avoid the scorching damage from the flame storms that Amiyah was casting.

Ottis upon receiving the signal did not hesitate. The instruction was simple. ’Boost me with Wind Power.’ Ottis did not need to think twice to know exactly what the unique undead wanted.

"Wind Gale!" Ottis yelled, as he poured in a lot of mana into the spell. As the spell started to take shape.

Bo immediately gathered momentum, and immediately the spell was released, it went towards Bo, but coupled with the way Bo was positioned.

The spell served as a boost to the speed of Bo. Just as the way Tim always used the weaker version, Wind Barrage to boost and accelerate his momentum.

FOO

Bo shot at Amiyah’s position at a dangerous speed.

Amiyah who still had a feel of the battle despite being obstructed by the different activities of the battle felt an imminent danger. She tried to use her flame storms to intercept Bo, but he was just too fast.

POOM POOM POOM

Massive forceful explosions sounded in the battlefield, as Bo forcefully tore through the thick layers of defense that was setup to protect the mages and other squad member.

After shattering the last layer of defense, Bo had lost all the momentum that he had used with his force and mass, but that was enough.

He was in front of his target now, and he was going to mercilessly fulfil his task.

The eyes of the Dawn Keepers guild widened when they saw the culprit that smashed down all their defenses. The culprit was massive and it looked at them like pigs to be slaughtered in a farm.

Amiyah’s heart skipped a beat upon seeing Bo, especially when she saw how he had managed to bring down all the walls of defense that was set up.

She knew immediately that if she did not do anything, then her team members would be in serious trouble.

Chaneling the bits of mana that was flowing inside her, she was about to cast a higher class spell that will save her and her guild. But Bo was faster.

With his powerful paw and claw. He closed the distance between him and Amiyah and swiped at her, at an unavoidable range. POOM

For the first time since her entry into the dungeon. Amiyah received physical damage.

She flew and crashed into burning trees before she eventually stopped surrounded by burning trees and smoke. If she did not have high tolerance to fire, she would have been dead due to the sheer amount of heat that she was covered in a t the moment.

The eyes of the other team members widened when Amiyah was smashed away and they tried to attack Bo in fear, but they were interrupted by the massive fireball that crashed in their location.

BOOM!

The explosion rang. Just like that. Four of the mages that wanted to launch an attack was blasted away, due to the force of the massive fireball.

Bo off course had left the vicinity before the skill hit the area that the guild members were in.

His target had not died, which ultimately surprised him. he had used his claws in that strike and he had expected it to year her into pieces, but there his prey was, bleeding but not in pieces.

Amiyah stood to her feet. She was at a disadvantage right now. She was standing in the mist of flames; bleeding and she was far from her team members.

She had survived the last attack of the wolf due to her enhanced protection item, that acted as a body shield towards massive amounts of damage to the body. The item worked well, but it was also depleted due to the force of Bo’s attack.

She honestly did not see when Bo’s strike met her, but she was ready this time. At least that was what she told herself.

She had not expected a massive beast to move so fast. It was beyond her control. But she wanted to gain back her control of the battle. She wanted to be in charge and to do that she needed to be on the offensive and not on the defensive.

Her opponent now, was steadily walking towards her, and she needed to show it that she was not scared. Forcefully willing her man, she proceeded to cast her game changing spell.

" Flame Storm Hig –"

POOM!

She was interrupted by the super massive force that was exacted on her.

’Is... Is that not my body.’ She thought.
