Chapter 112: Super Devil Familiar? by Harem-Fan

     Remember how I thought Rias would listen to my warning about this insane Dragon?

     She had the opposite reaction and said we will go look for this Legendary Dragon!

     Fuck me!

     So that’s how it is...

     We are standing in the ORC room, getting ready to make our leap into the Familiar Forest...

     Asia, Ingvild, and Xenovia were all so excited to get their Familiars, and I looked like I was on my way to a funeral!

     Did Rias forget what happened the last time I came here?

     Yup, a huge portion of creatures came to beg me to take them home... Sigh.

     Rias just pinched my cheek and said.

     "Stop looking so gloomy! Besides, we need to get the others their Familiars anyway! I don't think Tiamat has killed anyone over there?"

     I looked at Rias's dubious clueless expression and said with some joke in there.

     "Sometimes, I can't tell if you love me or hate me, damn."

     The other Peerage members laughed at me.

     On a side note, Kris already had a Familiar before she fell asleep.

     Unlike other Devil families, Zeoticus did not neglect his Half Devil children...

     We all stepped in the transfer circle and off we went...

     "I hate that rhyming bastard!"

     (In the LN, he didn't rhyme like an idiot, only in the anime)

     As we showed up, I was cursing that damn Poke... I meant Familiar Master in a low tone!

     The Forest of Familiars...

     There are giant trees growing around here, so not much sunlight shines through to the ground.

     Though a Devil's eyes still work perfectly in the darkness, so it doesn’t matter.

     The Universe heard my call, and the ass I was planning on punching wasn't there.

     Instead it was a young Devil...

     “My name is Tobi! I am a Devil in training, aiming to become a Familiar Master! I'm here because my Father is with another Peerage right now!”

     This kid looks to be about 13 or so, and is wearing a red tee-shirt, tan shorts, with a red reversed ball cap, and he has a backpack.

     I say with relief in my voice.

     "Thank God!"

     And everyone grabbed their heads, except two girls and myself... Oops!

     I replied to my mistake.

     "Sorry I was just glad we have a new guy! Oh, my Familiar said there was a Dragon looking for me named Tiamat, I think? Do you know her?"

     Tobi smiled at my question and pulled out a large thick illustrated catalogue.

     The one he points at is a Dragon with great ferocity that is drawn out on the whole page.

     But why do I get the feeling a male Dragon seeing this picture would think of a centerfold?!

     “This is what I would recommend! One of the Dragon Kings! Chaos Karma Dragon, Tiamat! It’s a legendary Dragon! She's also the only female among the Dragon Kings! Even until now, there hasn’t been a Devil who has caught her yet! That would be obvious! Since it’s said to be as strong as a Super Devil!”

     I said with a bit of horror.

     “Fuck! This doesn’t look like the level of a Familiar! It’s like Super Boss... the Final Boss! And no one has caught it yet! I feel as if I was thrown into the last dungeon!”

     I have no intention of finding Tiamat, so I asked him for another choice...

     "What is another Familiar good for fighting... that is a bit less awesome?"

     Tobi appreciates my caution, and points to the 2nd worst Familiar choice.

     "The Hydra would be your next best bet! This one is amazing! It has deadly poison! There are no Devils in this World which can endure its poison! On top of that, it's immortal! The worst creature in the World that will even kill its Master! See? Pretty useful, right?”

     The young Poke, I mean Familiar trainer, seriously recommended this for me!

     Rias excitedly tells me while shaking my arm in hope.

     “The Hydra is rare so it would be wonderful if you find him. If I remember correctly, there is one deep in this forest…”

     I think and say...

     "I will look for it on my own, I can already feel some of the creatures are talking about me... So I will move away and search. Get Familiars with the girls and we will meet up later!"

     She just nods remembering the hundreds of creatures that came looking for me last time, like I was a Devil Snow White.

     I then wave to the other girls and take off southward...

     An hour later...

     I asked many of the animals of the forest to guide me in the direction of the beast I'm looking for.

     I had just entered the swampy area, and I found the lair of the Hydra.

     Tingle~! However just when I was going to enter its territory I sensed something behind me, and I turned to see...

     Buzz~! Accompanied by a teal colored glow, a magic circle appeared!

     An enormous creature emerged from the 50 foot wide magic circle...

     A massive , pale blue, aquatic western Dragon with celestial blue scales, the size of Tannin emerged.

     The Dragon looked at me, then to where the Hydra lived and it sneered.

     [What? You planned on taming that filthy beast? If a mindless brute is what you seek, you aren't a very clever Devil!]

     The Dragon aura pressure coming off the Dragon that matches the picture, is obviously Tiamat!

     Its pressure is making it hard to breathe.

     I just now realized how weak Tannin is at this very moment!

     Even in my Underworld Dreadnought form, with a Promotion, I wouldn't be able to make this Dragon do more than bleed a bit!

     The rather large Dragon looked at me curiously, and said in a deep annoyed  feminine voice...

     [Hm? You're only High-Class-high strength so I guess my Dragon aura is a bit much for you...]

     Her huge head comes close and she squints her draconic eyes, and looks a bit surprised when she looks into my eyes!

     [You have no Dragon aura or body, but you seem to have a remnant Dragon's Soul in you?! You're clearly a Reincarnated Devil, and you don't possess a Dragon in your Sacred Gear like the other three! But I feel you had the Soul of a Dragon King at least?!]

     Thud Thud Thud~! Tiamat circles me and looks more...

     I can feel my bones and internal organs are in some pain, like a Human deep underwater, and it is hard to think clearly.

     [I have been around for millennia and know of all the powerful Dragons... Evil, Heavenly, and Kings... yet I have never sensed this Soul before. Who are you?]

     Fuck lady I'm struggling to breath here, and you want an answer?

     Sadly, my anger for being suppressed is slowly clouding my judgment a bit...

     At this time the Hydra came out, looking to see what trespassed on its turf... and one glare from Tiamat made it whimper and hide.

     I try using my telepathy for animals and creatures, to see if she can hear me, as I can more or less talk to anything that can be a Familiar...

     [It's hard to move my body with your Dragon aura, so if you can pull it back a bit I can talk to answer your questions!]

     Tiamat was a bit surprised to hear my voice in her head, and she reduced her Dragon aura back a lot...

     Thud~! I fell to my knees getting my body back to normal.

     Then I say, while getting my breathing under control.

     "Ah Ha Huh... Sorry but I'm not fully sure, but I have lived many lives, so maybe one of them was a Dragon? I haven't looked into my dream space to find out yet... Otherwise I have no idea, but I am surely only a normal Human turned Devil in this life. Roshi told me you were looking for me?"

     [Even in the past I have never met a Dragon with your Soul?]

     She tilted her massive head and looked questionably at me...

     I stand, then I reply to her.

     "You're right, but I never said it was from this world, right? There are other galaxies and worlds out there, plus there are other dimensions just like the Human world has an Underworld or a Heaven, other than this one. I have lived many lives, but have lost the memories of them... So being a Dragon in one of them is possible?!"

     I analyze this in my head... I wonder if Coriana can help me look?

     The Dragon then laughs at my outrageous words.

     [Hahaha~! So is this why your Sacred Gear is so interesting? Are you the man identified as a certified reincarnate, haha? I have seen you use God level magic... And you seem to know things others don't... So is God truly dead?]

     Her face gets close to watch my expression and look for lies.

     Tiamat has encountered the Biblical God in the past, and fears him a little.

     "God of this world, yes! The real God no... But what does this matter? He isn't interfering with the world directly?!" (Big G just whistles innocently)

     I can't figure out this old Dragon.

     Now her Dragon aura is climbing sharply, and my bones creak.

     Tiamat looks angry and threatens me.

     [So if I kill you now, what will God do then... Smite me?]

     Yup she looks like she will breathe fire and cook me!

     "Fuck, I would just die! How do I know what he will do, but knowing him, he won't do anything to you... My guess is he will throw me into another shit life with no memories, so I guess I would pile up more hidden regrets and continue to suffer... like my brothers."

     Suddenly, I can't feel any pain that is still there, and a rage from deep in my Soul is bubbling, knowing I might die here...

     I'm too calm...

     But I want to resist her!

     Well, if I am going to die, I will just take this Dragon with me...

     Unknown to me... I started to have my eyes glow golden...

     Like a final prelude to my death...

     I look at this Dragon, and suddenly, I have this urge telling me I can kill her, and everything in this world...

     Golden lines slowly streak across my skin...

     My emotionless face just looks at Tiamat in disinterest, like looking at the ant you're about to step on...

     The sensation Tiamat was feeling was... If she were to strike me down, I may take this entire world with me in total annihilation!

     Tiamat has seen too many Juggernaut Drives to not notice the signs, but this one was many times more terrifying to her.

     [I'm not going to kill you, you idiot, so calm down! Tsk!"

     She then fully pulled back her Dragon aura...

     A feeling in my heart, the one opposite of my rage, gave me a warning to stop my anger...

     My fist clenched, as I suddenly remembered Grayfia and the others...

     Then my thoughts came back.

     Feeling the killing intent vanish, I seem to have relaxed my heart.

     That truly didn't feel good!

     I felt wrath and vengeance bubble up in my heart for a split second.

     I had this feeling like I would be the cause of this DxD world's end...

     Even something worse than 666 Trihexa?!

     The golden lines faded, and the lights in my eyes vanished, unknown to me as I calmed my heart...

     (Somewhere, a young looking boy shivered under hundreds of God level sealing)

     Many thoughts, ideas, and a hunch went through Tiamat's head as she watched the mysterious Devil...

     As my mind cleared, I heard the loud voice of the pale blue Dragon...

     [I have decided little Devil... I will accompany you as a Familiar! So make the contract! Although I can't help you with Rating Games...]

     She looks all proud with her Dragon head held high, but...

     "I think I'm too weak to be your Devil Master? Your status as the Dragon King, Chaos Karma Dragon, Tiamat, is a bit high right?"

     My Sacred Gear is warning me that this Dragon is a high level quest!

     Tiamat's draconic eyes squinted, and her annoyed voice entered my ears.

     [What?! Did you just say something stupid? I'm sure you aren't turning me down, right?!]

     She is giving super Tsundere and Yandere vibes... like the type that will kill your whole family if you say no!

     Tingle~! The Grace warning came, and I spoke quickly!

     "No, no! I just wanted you to be sure... Um, I'm just taken aback by such an honor?!"

     Alright... I don't have to summon this crazy Dragon, I will just make a contract and leave her in this forest...

     That's the ticket!

     "Give me a bit... this will be a large contract pattern, so I shall get started!"

     Just as I was going to draw the 50 foot wide Gremory magic circle for Familiar contracts, it happened!

     Buzz~! A teal light wrapped the Dragon's body and it rapidly shrank in front of me!

     Then as the light faded, Tiamat said in a smoky woman's voice.

     "There is a smaller body and a smaller circle, so just hurry up and stop stalling!"

     She then holds her arms impatiently under her breasts!

     Holy fuck, she looks like that Esdeath character from that assassin anime while in her humanoid form!

     Light blue hair, teal eyes, a curvy human figure, and the air of a villainous woman!

     I just looked at her stupidly, and she said in annoyance.

     "Hurry up kid, you act like you have never seen a woman before? You can't be a virgin right, no I have seen you with your Devil girls plenty, so hurry up before I BBQ you!"

     She has a glint of happiness in her menacing eyes!

     I hurry with my ritual to get rid of this reptile!

     “…In the name of Matsuda Tanaka, I order you, Tiamat! You shall become my Familiar and respond to my contract!”

     I was so terrified of this Dragon!

     But Tiamat wouldn't be the last powerful Dragon to be my Familiar!
