"There won’t be any ’what if’!" Before her voice could fade, he seized control of the conversation, then blocked her lips, submerging her in his tenderness.

Immediately, she felt him becoming even more gentle; this was his gentlest possession of her yet.

Even though their movements were much smaller this time, Maya Spencer still felt very comfortable.

Eventually, she lazily fell asleep in his arms. Tonight was the most peaceful night’s sleep she had had in a while.

The next morning, she opened her eyes to see Liam Spencer’s familiar face before her.

She took a deep breath, recalling everything that happened between them last night, feeling angry at herself, angry for not ultimately rejecting him.

Yet helpless against his allure.

She raised her hand, gently pushing him away, only to be pulled back into his embrace and held tightly once more.

So she held back, cautiously saying, "I want to get up, sleeping too much gives me a headache."

When the two came out of the bedroom, Aunt Smith had already prepared breakfast for them. Seeing Liam and Maya coming out of the same room, Aunt Smith smiled brightly and immediately urged them to come over for breakfast.

After breakfast, Maya dragged Aunt Smith out again to visit the department store.

Seeing Maya in high spirits, Aunt Smith did not stop her and accompanied her there.

In the baby supply store, Aunt Smith picked up some baby clothes, smiling as she walked toward the seating area where Maya was, intending to ask if she liked them.

In the chairman’s office of Owen Clan Group, Elijah Reed cautiously opened the door to report, "BOSS, all hotels and exits have been checked, and there is no sign of Miss Maya. Young Master Graham also said Mr. Hanson recently went abroad and has not been in contact with Miss Maya."
