Jimmy: "It's up to you, but it's best not to be tied to an office job."

Hughes: "Where do you want to go?"

Jimmy shook his head: "No particular place in mind, you arrange it. Just like I said earlier, anything but an office job."

Hughes nodded: "Got it. Take a good rest during this time, and remember to be back on time when it's over."

Jimmy: "Yeah, I'll take this opportunity to travel a bit. I haven't been out to unwind for a while."

Hughes: "Of course, no problem. Go wherever you want."

The two continued drinking coffee, and Jimmy knew Hughes came to comfort him, not wanting him to hold a grudge against their office's higher-ups' decisions.

But Hughes overthought it; Jimmy was not someone who didn't know good from bad. They knew that, given the policies, this was the best result aside from no punishment at all.

Jimmy suddenly remembered something and looked at Hughes: "By the way, I successfully proposed to Nia, and I might organize an engagement ceremony soon. You must attend then."

Hughes: "That's great. A man matures with a family. I'll be there. Anything you need help with?"

Jimmy: "Not decided yet, I'll send you an invitation once it's confirmed."

Hughes nodded: "If I'm not mistaken, you're almost 30, right?"

Jimmy nodded: "29."

Hughes: "It's about time. Use this idle period to settle some family matters."

Jimmy: "Yeah, I'm planning to find time to have a good chat with Nia's parents."

Hughes frowned a bit; this should normally be decided by both families, but Jimmy is an orphan...

Hughes: "These things are best handled by elders. If you... need anything, just let me know."

Jimmy nodded with a smile, "If I need anything, I'll contact you."

After parting with Hughes, Jimmy drove directly to a Jewish storage warehouse in Brooklyn. Here, Tom had prepared CIA-support materials for Jimmy, including fake identities, funds, and a pistol. These were what Jimmy needed for this mission.

The fake identity Jimmy used previously was used a bit too frequently in Texas and New Mexico, and recently at that. So, Jimmy didn't plan on using it for now, as more use leaves more traces.

Just after leaving the storage warehouse, Jimmy's phone rang. He picked it up and glanced at it before answering.

Jimmy: "Hi, good morning, Caitlin."

Caitlin: "Jimmy, are you available now?"

Jimmy: "Of course, should I come to the Anti-Terrorism Bureau to find you?"

Caitlin: "I'm just notifying you, join me for a trip to Langley this afternoon. The account issue you mentioned last time needs to be dealt with at the headquarters."

Jimmy glanced at the time: "Okay, I'll book a ticket now."

Caitlin: "No need, just be at Teterboro Airport at 1 PM."

Jimmy: "Alright. See you this afternoon."

Jimmy hung up the phone, shrugged his shoulders, thinking that being a supervisor sure had its perks, with private jet access while he had to fly commercial flights.

Teterboro Airport is not in New York but in New Jersey. It's New York's most popular private airport, with many private jets of New York's wealthy departing from there.

Although Jimmy hadn't been there, he had heard of its name. So when Caitlin mentioned the airport, he knew that she must have booked a private jet.

Jimmy looked at the bag in his hand, containing the full set of equipment he just got. Putting it back seemed too troublesome, so he drove straight home.

At home, Jimmy opened the safe, took out his CIA ID card, and placed the items he retrieved from the storage warehouse into the safe. The safe now held three guns: an 1875 gifted by Roland, a P226 prepared by Tom at a DC safe house after his last mission, and a Glock 17 he just got from the warehouse.

This time, Jimmy didn't pack a suitcase. He carried some cash and credit cards with him, as this wasn't an undercover operation, using his own identity was fine, hence no need to bring too many items. Carrying more increases the chance of mistakes.

His FBI credentials hadn't been confiscated. Even carrying two revolvers wasn't an issue at this time, even if it was not a private flight. He could carry a gun onboard using his credentials.

At Teterboro Airport, Jimmy parked his car in the parking lot and entered the waiting lounge. Almost at 1 PM, Caitlin finally arrived. Caitlin, with a female assistant, called Jimmy to meet up and they headed directly to a small plane on the tarmac.

The plane took off on the runway, and Caitlin looked at Jimmy: "What happened on your end? Why were you suspended?"

Jimmy raised an eyebrow in surprise; was Caitlin that out of the loop? She only knew he was suspended but didn't know why?

Jimmy: "Violation, internal handling. A colleague was shot dead, and during our operation, there was a procedural issue."

Caitlin: "Is the impact serious?"

Jimmy: "Two-week suspension, then reassigned to internal duties. We'll see later if I can go back to fieldwork."

Caitlin: "And now?"

Jimmy nodded: "I'm already on suspension leave. I'm thinking of taking this time to travel and relax."

Caitlin thoughtfully nodded and snapped her fingers. The female assistant handed a briefcase to Caitlin. She opened it, took out some documents, and started reading, ignoring Jimmy.

Jimmy didn't disturb her either, waving to the flight attendant to get a glass of wine, leaning back in the seat to relax. This was likely one of the rare occasions for Jimmy to drink on a plane while carrying a gun. Previously, when boarding with police or FBI credentials, there were regulations prohibiting alcohol and alcoholic beverages. Of course, he wouldn't drink too much, just a small glass to relax.

Soon, the plane landed at a private airport, and Jimmy, Caitlin, and others disembarked, driving off in a pre-placed car from the parking lot. The female assistant drove, Jimmy sat in the passenger seat, and Caitlin was in the back, still focused on the documents in the briefcase.

Langley building, CIA headquarters, this was Jimmy's second visit. The last time wasn't particularly pleasant. Jimmy pretended it was his first time, observing left and right from the parking lot.

Caitlin took Jimmy into the building; his CIA ID card was valid. Swiping it at the building's entry, his identity was recognized correctly. Unsurprisingly, Tom had truly prepared everything for Jimmy.

The female assistant went upstairs with Caitlin's bag, while Jimmy and Caitlin took another elevator to a heavily guarded floor. After fingerprint verification, Caitlin led Jimmy through the front security check.

"Hi, Cathy." Caitlin entered an unmarked office, smiling as she greeted a chubby woman inside.

"Hi, Caitlin, long time no see! Who's this handsome guy?" Cathy happily got up from her chair and hugged Caitlin.

Caitlin: "It's him, the one I mentioned before."

Cathy shook hands with Jimmy: "Oh, I remember now, handsome, nice to meet you."

Caitlin: "Jimmy, verify your identity here, Cathy will handle the paperwork for you. Cathy, I'll head out now."

Jimmy: "Which office should I find you in when I'm done?"

Caitlin: "Call me." With that, Caitlin turned and left the office.

Cathy smiled and said: "OK, have a seat, your name and number."

Jimmy gave his name and number, and Cathy began to check on the computer. After the information surfaced, she pointed to a device on the wall, "Verify your fingerprint."

Jimmy placed his palm on the detection area, the red light turned green, and the verification was successful.

Soon, a document was printed, and Cathy handed it directly to Jimmy, "Here's your authorization account and password. Memorize it; this document cannot be taken out."

Jimmy glanced at the document, feeling lucky for his good memory. Besides the account and password, there was also a tutorial describing how to log into the CIA system from an internet site using specific operations.

After looking over it twice, Jimmy returned the document to Cathy. Cathy looked at Jimmy in surprised disbelief: "You memorized it?"

Jimmy nodded, and Cathy promptly shredded the document in a shredder, "OK, we're done."

Jimmy: "Thanks, Cathy."

He called Caitlin and went to her office, where Caitlin directly asked: "Jimmy, since you're on a break now, could you do me a favor and go to Portland?"
