After finishing speaking, Jimmy left the hospital room and returned to the hotel. Jimmy changed into a set of clothes, put the laptop and camera into a backpack, and after packing a hoodie, he left the hotel.

Without a car, it was very inconvenient, but Jimmy mainly came to see Mahong this time and wasn't prepared with a backup identity, so he had to buy a second-hand car in his own name for temporary use.

Everything was ready, Jimmy drove the newly bought second-hand car to the hospital parking lot and called Mahong, "I'm ready, you can think of a way to contact them now."

Mahong would think of a way on his side to see how he could contact the company people. Jimmy squatted here, waiting for his news, as it was inconvenient to talk over the phone, having them meet Mahong face-to-face shouldn't be a big problem, it just depended on if he could find a good reason.

While waiting for the news, Jimmy picked up the phone issued by the FBI and called Philicia.

Philicia was Mahong's black female partner, she was transferred to New York with him initially. For this jailbreak case, she was also seconded to the Chicago office with Mahong. Since Mahong got shot, and Philicia wasn't here, she must be chasing suspects, otherwise, given her relationship with Mahong, she definitely wouldn't have gone two days without showing up at the hospital.

Jimmy: "Philicia, it's Jimmy. How's your case going over there?"

Philicia: "Jimmy, long time no see. The investigation is ongoing, Mahong was shot and is recuperating in the hospital."

Jimmy: "Yeah, I know, I've already contacted him. How's your progress over there? Any discoveries?"

Philicia: "We've already recovered two suspects, and we have some leads on the six who are still at large. Don't worry, we'll handle it."

Jimmy: "Alright, that's good. If you need my help, remember to call me."

Philicia just said a couple of simple things and didn't disclose the full investigation results, which was understandable. Jimmy should normally be in Manhattan, unable to help with the jailbreak case in Chicago, so there was no need to say more.

Jimmy searched for and dialed John Butler's number on his phone.

Jimmy: "Hi, John. It's Jimmy, FBI."

John: "Oh, Jimmy, long time no see. Are you in DC?"

Jimmy: "No, just calling to say hi. Are you working?"

John: "No, I'm on vacation, out with the family for a couple of days."

Jimmy: "Oh, have fun. John, do you guys in the Special Service Bureau have a guy named Paul Kellerman?"

John: "Doesn't ring a bell, why? Did something happen?"

Jimmy: "How about Bill King?"

John: "Yeah, he's my colleague. What's happened? Why are you asking?"

Jimmy: "A friend had a minor dispute with him, and he wants me to mediate. Just a small matter, could you give me his number?"

John: "I'll send it to you in a bit. If you need help, I'll be back in DC in a couple of days, contact me then."

Jimmy: "OK, have fun."

John quickly sent a text message with Bill King's phone number.

As USSS agents, their phones, like FBI agents' phones, cannot be directly located and require special channels to extract information.

Although the FBI system couldn't be used directly for investigation, Jimmy wasn't completely helpless. In his car, the newly bought computer couldn't connect to the internet directly or access the CIA system, but he still had Nancy's number.

Jimmy dialed Nancy's number: "Hi, Nancy, it's Jimmy. Caitlin's guy, remember?"

Nancy: "Oh, I remember you, what's up?"

Jimmy: "I need you to help me track a phone number."

Nancy: "Give me a minute. Go ahead."

Jimmy gave her the phone number. Nancy: "Oh, sorry, I don't have the permissions to track this number's location."

Jimmy: "OK, thanks. I'll treat you to a big meal in Langley when I visit."

Nancy laughed heartily, "OK, I'll be waiting."

Previously, Nancy helped Jimmy to track phone locations, so Jimmy thought of building a good relationship with her to get related personnel information from her, but before he could prepare, things came up again.

After thinking, it seemed that the only potential place to find information was the InterContinental Hotel, but calling Winston to track a phone number seemed excessive, so Jimmy decided to try Charon first.

Jimmy called Charon, "Charon, have you taken off yet?"

Charon: "Not yet, we're taking off in half an hour. Mr. Yang, is there something you need?"

Jimmy: "I want to buy some information through your channels, I have a phone number and need to know the person's information and location. Don't issue a mission, contact me privately. I will settle the fee later."

Charon: "Of course, I'll handle it. Please send me the number."

Charon was incredibly considerate, almost enviable like Winston, saying they were flying in half an hour, presumably not arranging for Pam and Cameron to take a commercial flight; it must be a private one, needing some time to apply for a flight route.

Jimmy sent the phone number to Charon and continued waiting for Mahong's notification.

It took a long while. Jimmy had gotten out of the car several times for a smoke before Mahong's call came through, "Jimmy, the two fugitives Mike and Lincoln, along with Kellerman who shot me, appeared in Montana.

They called a TV station last night to say they had major news, but when the police and TV station arrived, they found they had shot an unidentified person and kidnapped a station cameraman, escaping police containment. Now, they're wanted by local police.

The agent I contacted, Bill King, got in touch but he's not in Chicago, so we can't meet. I suspect he went to Montana."

Jimmy: "So what do we do? Just wait here? I haven't even gotten his photo yet."

Mahong: "I don't know where exactly he'll go, we can only take it one step at a time. I will talk to the doctor and try to get back to the office to participate in the investigation as soon as possible."

Jimmy: "Okay, don't worry about Pam and Cameron, they will stay in New York for some time, focus on the case."

Jimmy gave up on waiting at the hospital and drove to Mahong's ex-wife Pam's house, watching their house with surveillance from the roadside.

Hours passed and it was still empty inside. This was the only place that could confirm Bill King's subordinates' locations. Without other leads, it was a waiting game.

In the afternoon, Charon was the first to bring news, he called Jimmy and provided the fax number of a street corner copy shop, where Jimmy smoothly collected two documents, one with Bill King's basic information and photo, and another with the phone location.

Bill wasn't in Washington, D.C., nor Chicago, he was in Montana's capital, Helena. It was clear that Bill King had gotten the news slightly earlier than Mahong and ran to Helena, hoping to find Mike and the others there.

This was rather troublesome, with Chicago in the Midwest and Montana in the Northwest, the distance was somewhat far. Although they now had a photo, finding a specific person in a city is difficult, as is locating a person who is not local.

Only in the evening did Jimmy finally find the person he was looking for.

A car stopped in front of the house, and two men got out. Jimmy watched them open the door and enter the two-story house, with one on the first floor and another going to the second floor to the telescope.

Quickly, the person downstairs dashed upstairs, and the two said something by the telescope, after which one of them took out a phone, placed it to his ear, and walked downstairs while making a call.
