Jimmy did not disturb Christopher Lee and their investigation, he simply followed beside them, wearing disposable gloves to prevent his fingerprints from contaminating the scene. But he didn't quite believe Lee's inference; there might be something else going on here.

Based on the current situation, Lee's previous statement actually makes sense — a burglary, discovered and then a fight with the security, shots fired, escaping into the crowd and out of the villa.

However, there's an issue with the thieves; having external support is normal, there should be an intelligence monitor inside the villa or outside to keep watch, and then one or two will enter the villa to find what they're after.

Furthermore, it shouldn't have escalated to a shootout in such circumstances; there's a dinner party going on here, with celebrities, wealthy individuals, and politicians present. In an environment like this, normal thieves definitely wouldn't resort to shooting.

They must have another purpose; the possibility of assassinating someone can be almost ruled out, as it's too rough if it were an assassination.

Not to mention, the scene already has numbered tags marking an incredibly dense array of bullet holes. Just on the second floor where they're currently standing, there are at least 25 bullet holes on the walls, as they have yet to determine exactly how many shots the security fired and how many the thieves fired, but given the situation, it definitely wouldn't be a small amount.

Jimmy activated Heart Eye Observation and simply scanned the area, increasingly convinced that his thoughts were correct. This villa looks normal, but within his Heart Eye range, he's already found two weapons caches inside the rooms.

One is on the first floor in what appears to be the security's room, with a rack holding only two rifles and some handguns hanging on it. The other is on the second floor, appearing to be a compartment made with thickened walls, similarly adorned with various weapons, looking identical in style, except the rack in the first-floor room is directly exposed.

Jimmy had never truly engaged with tycoons before, but he believes that no matter the wealthy individual, they shouldn't have such a hobby.

Jimmy is definitely most concerned with security, so he spotted various weapons right away, noting some abnormal spaces too; for example, between the study and adjacent room, the wall is double-layered with a hidden room filled with things visible inside. There's also a basement beneath this house, not small in size, storing several items.

This layout reminded Jimmy of someone he encountered before — Romany over in Long Island, New York State, the guy who was knocked out with his family by Resentful Spirit. His seaside villa had all sorts of compartments too.

However, these discoveries are of little use to the case, still reliant on conventional methods to gather fingerprints or investigate evidence, and since it's not a personal investigation, he simply needs to be eyes and ears now.

Watching Christopher Lee and them investigate, Jimmy greeted Lee and went downstairs to smoke a cigarette. This was the scene of a shooting, so smoking in the room would be excessively inappropriate; going outside straightforwardly is the proper way.

Jimmy arrived in the backyard, where police and agents were recording bullet holes and lines. Standing in a corner of the backyard, he looked at the sea — the scenery of Palm Beach was genuinely delightful — bright sunshine, yellow beaches, green grass, blue ocean; indeed, affluent people have the convenience of beauty without leaving home.

Jimmy glanced around, also looking at the neighboring villa, spotting a pretty girl on the balcony sipping coffee while gazing at the sea. Lucky day, he blew a soft whistle but didn't linger. After admiring the sea and finishing his cigarette, Jimmy turned back into the villa, stubbed out the cigarette in a tray, and placed it inside.

At noon, Jimmy arranged to have lunch with Lee. During a case investigation, there weren't many special requirements — a supermarket a block away had a food truck outside, serving as the best and most convenient choice.

The two sat in the supermarket's outdoor resting area, eating and chatting together, Jimmy: "How's it going? Any breakthroughs?"

Lee: "Not much of a breakthrough. Some shell casings and fingerprints have been collected, plus the blood stains on the floor and walls. Waiting for the verification results later."

Jimmy: "Is the ballistic trajectory confirmed on site? How many people?"

Lee: "One person. Mostly confirmed their escape route, but there were too many people yesterday, making traces indistinguishable."

Jimmy: "Did the surveillance around neighboring villas get investigated?"

Lee glanced at Jimmy, "Of course, there's someone in the bureau examining them."

Jimmy felt somewhat like when the DHS people were investigating at the FBI's Manhattan office — back then, the FBI was very cooperative, but right now, the Miami office staff didn't seem to be similarly accommodating with Jimmy, with Lee's words offering little insights or conclusions.

Recalling Deputy Director Dave's words — gather as much understanding as possible and don't trust official conclusions; apparently, there's some discord between Manhattan and Miami offices, but Jimmy, having been at the Manhattan office only two or three years, has insufficient seniority for deeper engagement.

Jimmy: "By the way, Deputy Director Hudson was shot in the right shoulder, and once stabilized, he should be returning to New York, no issue, right?"

Lee nodded: "This case in no way involves the Deputy Director; he's merely a victim, so his movement won't be restricted."

Jimmy: "What about the others?"

Lee: "They were released after statements were taken; couldn't detain all these individuals, too much impact. Fortunately, the injuries weren't severe, and no fatalities occurred."
