Jimmy chuckled softly, placed the phone back on the nightstand, and got up to wash up. Problems are usually problematic because they affect certain people, but when transferred to others, they can be easily resolved.

A little after 7 in the morning, Jimmy's FBI phone rang. He glanced at it and answered, "Good morning, Hughes."

Hughes's tone wasn't good, he seemed somewhat angry: "Jimmy! Are you still in contact with the Anti-Terrorism Bureau?"

Jimmy: "You know, I have some connections over there; we've collaborated a few times before."

Hughes: "Go support the Anti-Terrorism Bureau today. They have an operation that needs our cooperation."

Jimmy: "OK, I'll contact them. Thanks, Hughes."

Hughes: "I'm still waiting for your updates."

Jimmy: "I will, I said I'd solve it, give me some time."

Hughes hung up directly, without even saying goodbye. Alright, seems like he was indeed a bit angry.

Jimmy flipped through his phone contacts, found the number of Chief Eleanor Mason, and called her.

Jimmy: "Hi, Mrs. Mason, it's Jimmy, Jimmy Yang."

Eleanor Mason: "Oh, Jimmy, what's going on so early?"

Jimmy: "Yes, there's something I need to tell you. There's a situation with the field office, I need to coordinate with another agency, just reporting to you. Sorry, something came up right as work started, couldn't have predicted this."

Eleanor: "Oh, no need to be so formal. I understand."

Jimmy: "Thank you, Mrs. Mason."

Everything went smoothly, Jimmy geared up, grabbed his bag, left, and drove his CLS to the FBI office. It was still early, so he stopped by a tea restaurant in Chinatown for breakfast before switching to a Suburban at the FBI parking lot and heading to the Anti-Terrorism Bureau. There's an operation this time, and if his CLS got damaged, it would be painful; using the assigned vehicle was more convenient.

At Caitlin's office, Jimmy knocked on the door and walked in, casually closing the door behind him.

Caitlin just looked at Jimmy sitting in the chair in front of her desk, waited for him to greet her, then asked: "What else?"

Jimmy: "Ah, I'm waiting for your intelligence support; I still don't know where to go."

Caitlin: "Wait for the intel, they're not in New York yet, currently still in New Jersey."

Jimmy: "OK, got it. I'll be in the meeting room next door."

Jimmy got up and left Caitlin's office. After waiting a while, a staff member came to call Jimmy to the command center, and Jimmy left the meeting room to the command center he had visited several times.

Caitlin was already standing inside; it seemed these supervisors liked to stand and command. Jimmy watched the busy people investigating surveillance information.

Caitlin: "The targets have entered New York, two vehicles, it's still unclear which one he's in."

Jimmy: "Why not intercept them on the road?"

Caitlin glanced at Jimmy: "They're using diplomatic vehicles."

Jimmy nodded, diplomatic vehicles have varying impacts; if it's a small country, intercepting their diplomatic vehicles wouldn't be a big deal. But here in the United States, you often have to endure many things, and this time they're in a Russian diplomatic vehicle, so there's nothing that can be done. If action is taken, it might lead to an unmanageable diplomatic incident.

"Target vehicle entered the General Consulate, UAV in position, target confirmed."

A staff member shouted loudly from a corner, Caitlin: "Put it on screen one."

Soon, the drone's surveillance video appeared on the screen, and a group of people entered the rear office building.

Caitlin: "Deploy resources, remotely monitor their positions."

Jimmy: "Is there an insider in the consulate?"

Caitlin glanced at Jimmy, shook her head: "We can only monitor from outside."

Jimmy pouted at the screen, thinking they're lying if they say there's no insider. This is New York, one of the world's most important financial cities, most countries have consulates here, and which consulate can escape CIA surveillance?

In Jimmy's view, either the level isn't high enough to access insiders, or the task this time isn't important enough to access those insiders, there's always a reason, but it's definitely not that there are no insiders.

Standing there for a long time, Caitlin arranged for personnel to go outside the consulate, and the rest was up to luck. If they decided not to come out, that would be troublesome.

Caitlin left the command center, and Jimmy also followed to find a conference room to zone out in, until in the afternoon, news finally came, the target had left the consulate.

Jimmy came to the command center, Caitlin was already there, several UAVs were monitoring in the air, the target was in a regular vehicle, with two more cars ahead and behind leaving Manhattan, currently heading towards Brooklyn.

Caitlin: "Are our people following?"

Staff: "Already in pursuit."

Caitlin: "After crossing the Manhattan Bridge, intercept them. Jimmy, it's your turn."

Jimmy: "OK."

Jimmy turned and left the command center, went to the underground garage, first put the earpiece of the walkie-talkie into his right ear, then turned on the walkie-talkie, started the car, left the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, and headed to Brooklyn.

Updates from the command center kept coming, but the UAV had been monitoring for too long and needed to return, and the backup UAV couldn't reach the scene yet, so the team following had to continue updating.

Without video surveillance, the command center could only rely on electronic maps and agent location information to determine positions.
