North America Gunman Detective
Chapter 93: 091 The battle is over
Agent Torsten had not expected that these criminals would still have grenades on them; judging by his own injuries, they were most likely defensive grenades designed to cause shrapnel wounds. Torsten turned to look at the agent beside him, who had also fallen to the ground, now writhing in pain.
"Agent down, 1 and 3 injured, withdraw from the fight." Torsten threw himself to the ground, relaying that he was out of the fight, while the others stuck close to cover, to prevent more grenades being thrown.
Jimmy, outside, was surprised to hear the voice on the radio, thinking, "Damn, Frog and his team were just drug traffickers. It was good enough that they had guns—how could they have grenades?" Jimmy did not know that more criminals were inside, and while Torsten had asked for support as a precaution, he had not shared the intelligence with Cage.
Jimmy approached Cage, saying, "Cage, do we need to go in for support? Two agents are injured."
Cage: "Our job is to support, wait for their command. Do not take matters into your own hands."
Jimmy: "Shouldn't we at least call an ambulance?"
After a moment, Cage picked up the radio in the car and started calling the dispatch center. Since he didn't know if more people might be injured, Cage asked the dispatch center to send three ambulances directly.
Torsten: "Butcher, are you outside? Do you have night vision goggles?"
Jimmy: "No, I only have a flashlight."
Torsten: "Then monitor from behind the factory. If they escape through the back door, let us know immediately. Do not enter the factory without night vision goggles."
Jimmy: "Understood."
Torsten: "There are still 5 suspects, fully armed, possibly with grenades. Maintain a safe distance."
Jimmy: "Understood, I'm heading to the back now."
Following the instructions, Jimmy immediately drove his police car around the perimeter of the factory towards the back, only to find there was no door there, just high walls all around, with no visible entry or exit points.
Jimmy: "Agent, no exit discovered at the back, only a gap in the wall on the right side."
Torsten: "Monitor the gap."
While Jimmy and Torsten were conversing, the gunfight between the agents and the criminals continued unabated. The criminals held their ground inside a room, avoiding the line of fire at the doorway, and three agents couldn't rush in.
This room, within the factory, had only one opening and no door; the criminals had used several flashlights for illumination during an earlier interrogation, making the center of the room fully visible. However, just like the rest of the factory, visibility was poor due to various obstacles.
Now, a standoff had formed between the agents and the criminals, while Frog and the other two were all down, and it was unclear whether they had been executed or not.
"Agent 4 and 5, block the door, I'll go rescue those two," said 2 through the radio softly, then retracted his gun to return and help Torsten and agent 3.
Both of them had been injured on their sides but could still move with difficulty. Number 2 came over, supported one with one arm, and the three stumbled out together.
Cage: "Agent, one ambulance has already arrived, please get the injured out as soon as possible."
"Received."
Jimmy: "The Butcher returns."
Jimmy returned to the entrance and entered through the main door, knowing all the thieves were inside the factory, he immediately turned on his flashlight and started searching for the agents who had come out.
Upon finding three agents, Jimmy ran over and supported one of them, walking towards the front door.
Jimmy took the injured agent to the ambulance, then reached out to remove the agent's helmet.
"Agent, give me the night vision goggles."
"Be careful, try not to get too close."
Agent #3 took off his helmet, and Jimmy took it, wearing it, and casually took his MP5, grabbed a spare magazine from the Bullet-Proof Vest, and then ran from the door towards the factory.
For Jimmy, having night vision goggles didn't really affect him; in fact, it could compromise his visibility.
Jimmy merely pushed the night vision goggles up on the helmet, activated Heart Eye, and the internal structure of the factory in front of him was clear at a glance.
"The Butcher is here." Jimmy set down the night vision goggles and upon entering the factory, he saw the illuminated room, walked past it, and came beside agent #4. Agent #2, who had escorted another agent out, also followed closely and stood in the direction of agent #5.
"Shock Bomb." Officer #4 grabbed a Shock Bomb from the Bullet-Proof Vest, pulled the pin, and skimmed it into the room.
"Bang," the intense sound accompanied by the flash caused the thieves inside to start yelling, some even shooting towards the doorway.
Although Jimmy was behind a wall, without a direct line of sight, the distance was sufficient. Inside, five men—two on the left, three on the right—faced the door of the room. Judging from the effect of the Shock Bomb, the three on the right were likely hit, as they were unconsciously twisting their bodies, their original orientation towards the doorway had now shifted to the side.
"Let's go with two more, one high, one low." Jimmy didn't know their commands, so he simply pressed the intercom and spoke plainly.
Agents #2 and #5 on the other side each took a Shock Bomb, pulled the pin, and threw it into the room. It was clear they had a good understanding, although they hadn't communicated; one rolled on the ground, and the other soared through the air, followed by two more Shock Bomb explosions, causing everyone in the room to crouch down.
Jimmy immediately pulled out his M686. After the Shock Bombs exploded, he ran to the doorway, positioned himself, and cleared out a round of ammo directly at the thieves.
To ensure at least incapacitating them, Jimmy's six bullets all hit the two individuals on the left. Within a brief two seconds, after emptying his bullets, he dodged away from the doorway, and officer #4 had already taken his place, firing towards the right.
Jimmy reloaded his gun and returned to the doorway, aiming at the right side. Right after officer #4's burst of gunfire, only one person was hit, the other two crouched behind a metal cabinet, apparently unharmed from Jimmy's perspective.
Jimmy directly entered the room; the cabinet blocked officer #4's line of fire and similarly obscured the criminals' view behind it—they didn't realize Jimmy had already run inside.
Jimmy approached from the side of the cabinet, firing three shots in quick succession, hitting the man in front with two bullets and the individual behind with one. Ultimately, the handgun's firepower wasn't enough to penetrate one body and kill the other behind it.
Jimmy walked over and checked several thieves, "Clear!"
The agents outside were stunned; they had seen fearless warriors before but had never seen anyone as fierce as this. The Butcher was seriously crazy. There were five thieves inside, just relying on a couple of Shock Bombs; he dared to rush in with just a pistol, and he actually succeeded.
Agents entered from the doorway, checked several thieves one by one, confirmed they were all killed, then came to the middle of the room and checked the three people on the ground, and sighed, all dead. Fortunately, today wasn't in vain, the goods and money they had brought were still piled by the wall.
