North America Gunman Detective
Chapter 955 - 552: Should We Take Action?
Jimmy returned to the Anti-Terrorism Bureau with the information, but instead of going to the conference room, he found an empty room to carefully review the data.
Jude's connections and abilities are indeed impressive. Although he didn't obtain specific information about the organization's leaders, he confirmed the headquarters and approximate location of the training camp.
The headquarters of the Deep Red Rose is located in an estate next to Albany, New York State's capital. The estate covers about 300 acres, with the mansion situated in the central-northern part of the estate, near the center, and close to the northern highway.
The estate is surrounded by dense woods and two layers of walls. The outermost layer is a wooden fence and electric grid used to keep out wild animals. The middle layer is a pasture and gardens surrounding the mansion, and the inner wall has surveillance cameras, infrared sensors, etc., to ensure the safety around the mansion.
The estate houses are divided into three parts: the eastern side is a long stable, somewhat distanced from the mansion, the middle is a three-story mansion, and the west side houses an essence workshop and a parking lot.
There is a simple floor plan in Jude's intelligence report, but that's not a problem. DHS can apply to use satellites for direct photo capture as long as the intelligence is verified.
The confirmed security force consists of no less than ten armed guards, but there is no intelligence on other people inside the estate for now.
The intelligence is too scarce; apart from the location, everything else is unclear, and it's not certain if Jude's information is correct. If he deliberately provided Jimmy with false information, and when they raid the place it turns out to be some billionaire's home, that would be troublesome. An investigation is necessary first.
The training camp location at Eliot Lake Mine in central Ontario, Canada is approximately confirmed, with a hand-drawn diagram featuring a small lake icon and three intersecting roads, and an X marked at one of the positions.
It seems this is their camp location, but without an actual map comparison, it's still hard to ascertain.
However, there's no intelligence on this camp, which shows even Jude's intelligence sources are unclear about what's inside.
Jimmy folded the information and put it in his pocket, then left the office to head to the DHS conference room.

Jude arrived at the Intercontinental Hotel, and upon seeing him, Charon left the front desk and led him towards the elevator.
In Winston's room, Winston was sitting on the sofa reading a book. Charon stood Jude in front of Winston: "Sir, Mr. Jude is here."
Winston looked at the two of them. Jude stepped forward, "Sir, the intelligence needed by Mr. Yang was just sent over, but he asked me a question. He asked if we have any follow-up actions and mentioned that this time it's a multi-department joint investigation, which could involve us."
Winston: "I know, anything else?"
Jude: "He didn't say anything else, but the meeting place he chose was the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, which should mean DHS is leading this case."
Winston nodded: "Thank you, you can go back now."
Jude bowed slightly and turned to leave, with Charon standing still.
Winston: "Charon, find out to what extent they are currently investigating."
Charon: "Okay. What do we need to do?"
After thinking for a few seconds, Winston said, "First, confirm the current situation."
Charon nodded and left Winston's room. More than half an hour later, Charon returned.
Charon: "Sir, it's not looking good. It seems DHS is taking action this time, with the FBI and ATF joining the investigation. They have already dealt with the Poison Snake Gang, and aside from the gang leader escaping, all others have been arrested. Moreover, the investigation into Deep Red Rose has confirmed their vehicle's movements, and they are backtracking. If nothing unexpected happens, it's possible that the matter of Perkins buying intelligence from Jude might be exposed."
Winston: "Has Perkins been to the hotel recently?"
Charon: "Two weeks ago, she stayed at the hotel for three days."
Winston: "Was there a task?"
Charon: "She didn't take any tasks from our side, unclear what she was here for."
Winston waved his hand, and Charon bowed and left.
Winston took out the phone and dialed out. The Intercontinental Hotel is just a service station; they do not have armed personnel. It's impossible to execute missions relying solely on the hotel's staff.
Winston contacted the high table, arranged a time, and in the evening, he met people from the high table in a special room to explain the current situation.
As an underground world entity, they can exist in various countries; it's not just relying on the power of the high table's twelve families. There must be official connections to some extent, at least needing some kind of protection umbrella.
Now there's a terrorist attack case in New York, and it's very likely to be linked to the Intercontinental Hotel, it must be handled, whether it's intervening with force to cut off the connection or having officials step in to change the target, something needs to be done.
The high table's agent did not decide on the follow-up actions directly at the hotel. He is just an agent, and such decisions need to be confirmed by those above.
Winston sent the agent off and went to an underground bar to drink. He regretted it too; if he had known Perkins could cause such a big issue, it would have been better to give Jimmy a favor directly, sending Perkins over and saving trouble, avoiding the situation escalating to such an organization-threatening level.

Jimmy continued to follow up on their clues at the Anti-Terrorism Bureau. Multi-department collaboration indeed improves efficiency. The ATF's scheme has been settled, with the captured arms dealer agreeing to their plea deal, promising cooperation in finding the intermediaries and thus identifying the actual buyer of the arms batch.
