Obsessive Tycoon and His Swan Girl
Chapter 236 - 236 236 Slapping the Face
Chapter 236: Chapter 236: Slapping the Face Chapter 236: Chapter 236: Slapping the Face “Our steaks are already prepared over there, so please go and join us for dinner. You might not know, Chen Bo’an is also upstairs!”
“Get lost!” Jiang Zhe issued a simple syllable, still maintaining the same sitting posture as before.
Kuang Bo saw her still sitting but the closer he got to her, the more he could feel her silently alluring charm.
Just the curve of her waist and body was a silent invitation.
With a smile, Kuang Bo said, “Little sister, Shaojie and Bo’an are sincere, you wouldn’t refuse to show your face, would you?”
Chen Bo’an, standing on the second floor and looking down, saw that the two men had been gone for so long without success, lit a new cigar, and looked down from his high position.
Feeling Chen Bo’an’s gaze, Wang Shaojie was somewhat embarrassed and reached out to pull Xia Enci, “Let’s go upstairs.”
He had not yet touched Xia Enci’s hand when suddenly Wang Shaojie felt a force bearing down on him fiercely.
In the blink of an eye, by the time he reacted, there stood before him a girl in a school uniform, breathtakingly beautiful with unparalleled features. Yet her eyes held no emotion, like cold, icy surfaces.
Only then did he notice the chill on his neck.
The girl was holding a steak knife in her hand.
This corner was isolated, and all the waiters had been sent away by Wang Shaojie, leaving no one passing by.
Wang Shaojie felt the icy touch on his skin, his scalp tingling. Her moves were too fast, almost unimaginably so.
Even though he knew this was his territory, fear crept into his heart, and he cowered.
Xia Enci quickly ran to Jiang Zhe’s side; seemingly used to Jiang Zhe’s way of handling things, she wasn’t too surprised but stared fiercely at Wang Shaojie.
Stunned by this sudden turn of events, Kuang Bo blurted out, “Little sister, let’s talk this over nicely!”
“Call me that one more time, why don’t you?” Jiang Zhe’s hand moved like lightning to Kuang Bo’s neck, holding a fork.
Kuang Bo wisely shut up.
Only now did the two of them get a clear look at the girl who had turned her head, her stunning beauty taking them aback, even those who had seen her photograph would still be surprised.
But under the current circumstances, they were in no mood to keep looking at Jiang Zhe.
Chen Bo’an finally walked down from the second floor, his interest piqued by Jiang Zhe’s personality.
And the girl he had never seen in person was obviously not catfishing; she was several times more beautiful than her photo, which didn’t capture even a tenth of her beauty.
She likes me?
With renewed confidence, Chen Bo’an approached Jiang Zhe with a smile, “Jiang Zhe.”
Jiang Zhe gave him a glance but didn’t respond.
After he had caught her glance, Chen Bo’an discarded his cigar and put down the wine glass in his hand.
He spoke up, “These two are my friends. Do me the favor of letting them go.”
“Fine,” replied Jiang Zhe crisply.
Chen Bo’an was immediately delighted, his mother was right after all; she did like him.
What else did his mother say? She talked about how this girl came from the small place of Jincheng and if she wanted to stay in Beijing, she would definitely need some external help.
Just as Chen Bo’an was about to speak, Jiang Zhe continued, “All of you get lost, rearrange my dinner, and make sure I never run into you again.”
This was somewhat of a blow to Chen Bo’an’s pride.
Wang Shaojie and Kuang Bo, under her control, didn’t dare say anything, but their eyes stayed fixed on Chen Bo’an.
Chen Bo’an has always been proud in the pleasure quarters, being held in high regard by everyone; when has he ever yielded to anyone else?
His smile remained unchanged, but he reached out to try and place his hand on Jiang Zhe’s hand, to express his tenderness and goodwill.
Before he touched Jiang Zhe’s hand, a cold sensation hit the back of his hand, and blood seeped out.
It turned out that Jiang Zhe had simply given him a cut with a knife.
Chen Bo’an suddenly became angry, “Jiang Zhe, what do you mean by this? You’ve caused enough trouble. My patience has limits, and I can overlook this, but let them go first!”
Angered, his young master’s temperament showed through.
“Who do you think you are, telling Xiaozhe to let you go?” Xia Enci could see that Jiang Zhe didn’t know them at all, “It was clearly you who started this mess. If it hadn’t been for your provocation, why would Xiaozhe have laid a hand on you? And now you’re still acting so righteous; what are you going to do if Xiaozhe doesn’t release them?”
Chen Bo’an sneered, “Jiang Zhe himself said he liked me. It’s just a game of wanting to catch what tries to elude you, to get my attention. I admit, you really have caught my attention. Release them, and let’s go upstairs to have a good talk.”
As he said the last two sentences, he deliberately spoke them with a flirtatious, ambiguous tone.
“We don’t even know you, alright? How could we possibly attract your attention?” Xia Enci was angry.
“You don’t know me, but you invited me to dinner last night?” Chen Bo’an said, amused.
Jiang Zhe immediately realized that this man was the son with a bright future, Chen Bo’an, that Yao Xiangzhi had mentioned.
To his surprise, both mother and son were more arrogant and revolting than the other.
Jiang Zhe coldly said, “As for who invited whom to dinner, you can go back and ask your mother.”
This remark infuriated Chen Bo’an, who said, “Fine, you curse even my mother. Later, I’ll let you know what happens when you offend me!”
“Bo’an, stop talking to her and just ask her to let us go,” Wang Shaojie and Kuang Bo’s throats felt cold and icy, and they were extremely frightened.
“She wants to show off, she wants to hurt people, right? Then let the police come and see how they handle her behavior,” Chen Bo’an said maliciously.
Once in the police station, was there any doubt that Jiang Zhe would buckle?
Then he could take control of the situation, waiting for her to beg for a resolution in a low voice, and getting a settlement. With such a minor issue, she couldn’t possibly stay in the police station for long.
And then he would pick her up…
Chen Bo’an immediately made the call to the police.
Xia Enci was a bit frightened, “Xiaozhe, what do we do now?”
“Miss Jiang!” Qin He’s voice came.
Seeing the situation at the scene, his expression changed slightly.
“Miss Jiang, are you hurt?”
He had received a WeChat message from Jiang Zhe, coming to help Xia Enci pick up the spoils from the mall.
But as soon as he arrived at the location, he saw this scene.
Chen Bo’an recognized Qin He, knowing he was a favored man by Qin Jingchen’s side. Hearing him call her Miss Jiang, he had an ominous premonition.
Jiang Zhe saw Qin He, let go, and retracted her fork and knife.
Wang Shaojie and Kuang Bo subconsciously touched their necks, and only when they realized they were soaked in sweat.
“Assistant Qin,” Chen Bo’an’s demeanor was extremely respectful in front of Qin He.
“Young Master Chen, are you well? I don’t know what this is all about with Miss Jiang?” Qin He, always amiable and approachable, also spoke with a few sharp notes in his voice.
“Jiang Zhe and I have a bit of a misunderstanding, it’s nothing serious,” Chen Bo’an heard him calling her Miss Jiang and knew that Jiang Zhe was acquainted with him, not daring to disrespect.
